    Ham, egg and cheese crepe

A welcome addition to the neighborhood. Still in its early days, but I am hopeful they find their groove. Instead of actual menus, they have codes taped to the tables. Unfortunately, many of the codes were cut awkwardly so they would work and I had to try multiple tables before being able to access a menu. I love a good crepe for brunch. They have a good batter, however the egg inside was not cooked at all, the egg whites were clear and leaking out.

Savory dinner crepe, hiding the deliciousness within.

The only thing better than the food here might be the staff, friendly and welcoming, very helpful to this senior with a cane, opening and holding the door for me and very welcoming to diners eating alone. I've been coming since the limited menu at the opening, as the menu has expanded the quality has remained excellent, it's so nice to have some classic French cuisine right in the neighborhood.

There are no other creperies in the vicinity, which I personally consider an advantage. The staff is attentive, and the food is delicious. I enjoy their ratatouille and crepes that include their tomato sauce or cheese. I generally prefer casual dining, yet this place feels somewhat sophisticated due to its French inspiration. The atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable. My only criticism may be the listing of over 100 menu items, although this is not a drawback. It's situated on 187th Street between Pinehurst and Ft Washington, meaning my favorite location. The value, the quality of the food, and the service make it worth the price for 1 guy eating out.

This place is never open. I think it has closed permanently. Certainly has potential but needs a good marketing agent and consistency.

It would not have been such an inconvenience if it wasn't raining and there was no place to stand for 2 hours. I hopped back on the subway as my only option as I was hungry, cold and wet. After taking the wrong direction to Marcy Ave and getting back on track decided to come back. Got here and asked for the NY Cheesecake crepe with Carmel instead of chocolate and he said he has to CHARGE me for Carmel instead of chocolate. Huh! I explained that I took the subway twice $3 each way because when I got here, the food delivery truck was outside delivering boxes and the sign said opening a 1 pm. Mind you I already said it was my second time here today when I walked in. Really!?! Terrible customer service!!!!!! I'm from out of town but yikes! I left Times Square to visit this small business in the rain. The $19 crepe was decent.

Being only a few blocks away and rated fairly high, Creperie popped up on my search so I knew I had to stop by on one of my evening walks back from the office. Although a rather tiny little shop, Creperies manages to still have some very limited seating right outside. As well as counter space inside the shop if you don't mind standing and crowding with other people waiting for their orders. I ordered the Strawberry and Banana crepe as it seemed to be a popular option. Size-wise, this crepe is pretty hefty and filling. Comes in an aluminum container so it's much less messy to grab and go. Although sweet, I felt the crepe itself was just ok. Nothing about it really stood out nor made it particularly memorable. They offer both sweet and savory crepes here if you want to make a meal out of it.

Not to mention, two crepes made for (surprisingly) a lot of food. I ordered the Crispy Shrimp Tempura and the Spicy Crabmeat, plus a Thai iced tea and a dark chocolate milkshake. The biggest difference from traditional French crepes is the shell, as it was slightly crisp on the outside but soft and chewy inside, thanks to the rice flour. It holds savory fillings well without getting soggy. - For the shrimp crepe, the tempura kept its crunch, and the sauces added sweetness and heat without overpowering everything else. - The Spicy Crabmeat leaned richer and creamier with a mild kick. - Both were satisfying without feeling overly heavy. - The Thai iced tea was classic and sweet, and the dark chocolate milkshake was thick and indulgent. Service was quick and efficient -- you order at the counter, and the crepes come out neatly wrapped and easy to eat. The staff was friendly and helpful when answering menu questions. Ambiance is casual and compact, very St Mark's energy. Limited seating, mostly quick-bite style, and good for grabbing something while walking around the neighborhood rather than lingering. However, I was among the lucky few who did get a table, so I enjoyed everything there. I'd definitely come back again to try their other crepes.

Everything was nicely presented and seems of good quality; I wanted to eat all the foccacia sandwiches and pizza slices I walked by! Their m pre-packed veggies and proteins were super convenient and tasty. The shrimp salad was pricey but the shrimp pieces were big and perfectly cooked, simply dressed in olive oil and herbs. I came back an again for their broccoli rabe as well, nicely textured with a slight heat from the chili flakes-- so tasty even cold! Patrons can also sit down and enjoy a freshly made meal in the store too. The seating is right in the middle of the store, so one might get brushed by shopping baskets. There was a cafe and gelato spot as well. The workers were friendly and cheerful :) There's a self checkout that people seem to forget about near the checkout counter. I struggle to enjoy the food, which is kind of bizarre. Their gelato tastes like it is held together with a non-dairy thickener like guar gum. Their $22 rotisserie chicken is no where's as tasty and tender as the $10 rotisserie chicken at Whole Foods. Their pizza slices are creatively and beautifully crafted, but the vast majority have only a very slight coating of tomato sauce which you cannot taste, and little to no mozzarella. I don't enjoy their $10+ slices nearly as much as the $4 slice down the street. Everything that I order there looks better than it tastes. To be fair though, I have not had a sit-down meal there in a long time. Several years ago I did order a roast beef sandwich at their carving station, and it was nearly 50% hard white fat. WTF. I feel like I just can't win when I try their food. But I LOVE going there so I keep trying. When all is said and done, I love the place. Sometimes they have music and/or tastings, which are fun. So more recently, I just buy a yogurt or cappuccino and enjoy the space.

After patronizing the restaurant for few years, for the first time I sat at a different table. This time I noticed for the 1st time there is a tapestry on the wall near my usual seating. Hadn't noticed it before. Also, noticed the outdoor garden seating area.
