My wife and I stopped in for lunch and it was great. The people are super friendly and the food is amazing. My wife had fish and fries. She loved it the fish cook perfectly and the fries seasoned perfectly. She loved it in would say the fish could have had a little more seasoning but we give it 8.5. I had the Cuban sandwich with fries again the fries seasoned to perfection. We are just passing through but like to always fine local restaurants to support so we tried Kim's. It's definitely a hole in the wall place but had lots of locals there. The good was really good. I got fish and fried and they were amazing. Lots of seasoning and fried perfectly. My wife had the Cuban sandwich and it was good also. Not much on ambiance or customer service. The drinks are in cans in a refrigerator next to the counter so.... But if you want good food we got no complaints. read more

I came in today for a sandwich. Let me first tell you that they are currently undergoing renovations but are open for service. I think when everything is done inside it will be a really nice place. It's already a good place. Now onto the food! Today I had a Cuban sandwich and some french fries. The Cuban sandwich was pressed and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Definitely up there with the better Cuban sandwiches I've had in the area. As for the fries they were good with a delicious seasoning on top. Personally I like my fries a little bit more cooked but they were still delicious. This is definitely a family run family owned establishment and if you're in the mood for a quick sandwich or some other Cuban style food, go for it. This is a very interesting little place. I placed my to go order and waited about 20+ minutes for two 12 inch cuban sandwiches. While waiting I did overhear that someone had not come in that day so they were very short handed. The road crew eating there were very rude to the young woman working. I waited as I saw her frustration. I did get my sandwiches chips and drink to take home. The sandwiches had pulled pork on them and were actually very good. I was a bit worried. I would probably not eat in as it is a bit rough on the inside. The two women were not wearing mask either so it made it a bit uncomfortable. No disrespect intended but I'm not sure the people who own the shop know what a Cuban sandwich is, sandwich was cold and cheese hard as if pulled right out of the fridge and thrown in the sandwich. She also stated there were no empanadas because a person bought the "last 9 two days prior" this means they premake empanadas for the week or something? Unacceptable who wants to eat 5 day old empanadas? Even the busiest of places make fresh empanadas. But the main disappointment for me was the sandwich I traveled about an hour to try it because of the reviews, but I should've saved the money.
