I did not use this service; However as we were set up on the beach for over an hour, they decided to set up more of their chairs in ridiculous proximity to our set up. We were directly in front of the resort we are staying in, not some random place on other property. This was at the Hilton Garden Inn Ft Walton beach. We ended up getting 2 chairs and an umbrella because we rented a condo at the Sea Oats condos in Ft. Walton Beach. The first day we came, it was late, the attendant accommodated us quickly and was super nice. He did tell us that they would be closing up soon. The second day,...meh... there were tons of extra chairs and umbrellas by us, but the attendant, a different guy this day, literally closed up chairs and an umbrella next to us saying it was the owner's equipment and said we couldn't use them. No biggie since we only had the two chairs and one umbrella but the way it was done was kind of rude in my humble opinion. The guy on the first day had way better customer service than this guy today. Happy that I'm getting use of the items as a result of my rental of the condo because I would not patronize them otherwise. read more

They have completely taken over an entire stretch of beach throughout the panhandle. It's basically a monopoly. If you don't rent from them, enjoy sitting behind rows and rows of chairs. Plus, they're expensive!! No other options. And god forbid the place out people you rented from doesn't tell you that you'll need to rent chairs, you'll arrive with sold out chairs and no other options. read more

For reference, we utilized this service at the Pensacola Beach location. We were guests at the Hilton Hotel. I was able to book the service with my reservation. I booked set up for two chairs and one umbrella for each of the five days of our vacation. I asked for a receipt print out at check in to provide the attendant in the beach. Logan is an absolute gem! Chairs were set up around 8 in the morning (weather permitting). He and his crew work together up and down the extent of the waterfront getting guests set up for a day on the beach. He was professional, courteous, and took excellent care of the guests in his care. Chairs are promptly taken down at 5pm. You're welcome to stay on the beach just without the comfort of your umbrella and chair. The process was easy, set up was timely as to enjoy as much time as possible enjoying your time. Side Note: our trip was booked from Thursday to Tuesday. On busier days, locals will set up their beach encampments directly in front of your chairs. There really isn't much you can do, as it is a public beach. I highly suggest getting set up early to have first pick of where you sit. I was able to avoid having pop tents set up in front of me obstructing my view and access to the ocean. read more

While staying at Fort Walton our two condos got to use this service as part of the rental. We've been coming here at the same place for around 12 years. I was really disappointed in the attendant and how rude he was. I had asked early one morning about the front row and he was smart about his answer . The next morning i asked the same thing and he acted like he didn't know how many rentals would not have reserve cards on them. I walked to the end of the umbrellas while he was still set them up and another gentleman had asked the same thing and had been told to wait at the end that there was 7 or 8 he could choose from that was not reserve. Absolutely ridiculous experience. We paid over $600 + tip for chair rentals for a bachelorette trip and woke up to POURING rain. We called at 8 AM asking if they could simply move the reservation to the following day since the weather completely ruined the setup. We were NOT asking for a refund, extra service, or anything free. Just asking to move it to Sunday. They refused. Customer service then told us we "should have canceled the day before" as if anyone can accurately predict Florida weather 24 hours in advance. Meanwhile the chairs were NEVER even used, yet they still expected us to pay AGAIN and rebook if we wanted them the next day. So basically they kept hundreds of dollars for absolutely nothing and made zero attempt to help or work with us. For a company in hospitality/events, the lack of flexibility, empathy, and basic customer service is beyond disappointing. We paid $600+ to receive nothing. We will absolutely be filing a chargeback. read more

My group had the smoothest time getting our pontoon. We all had our waivers signed before we arrived, so that helped. The guys that checked us in were awesome. Holden, Lynn, Drake and Connor were a huge help. They put all of our stuff in a wagon and unloaded on the pontoon for us. They also blew up all of our water floats. When we arrived back at the dock, they guys were there waiting for us to unload the boat and transport our stuff to the parking lot. Beach chairs/Umbrellas: We were surprised to see that most people did not use your beach umbrella service at Camp Gulf. We loved arriving each day and just sitting down with our beach gear and cooler! The attendents were consistently kind and set up our chairs close to beach entrance as we requested. We loved the big umbrella and just moved our chairs around under it throughout the day to sun dodge. The only issue we had was that a few of the chairs were worn out (ripped straps, stripped seat back adjusters). Luckily we had an extra chair in our set so we just swapped them out. Golf cart: The golf cart was nice. We had to go out and buy me a stepstool because I'm 4'11" and handicapped! The carts are way too high for short folks, handicap folks and elderly folks...which is most of the customers at Miramar beach :). Please consider including a stool (it fits right under the back seat) to prevent injuries and help out the majority! My husband also said that the carts didn't have any suspension so the numerous speed bumps were painful. The battery lasted a long time and the carts were in good condition. We didn't like the fees that were added but it is what it is. We would rent again if we were to return to this area. read more

We had a good experience with La Dolce Vita. Very friendly and professional service to make our reservations before we came to town. We stayed at Miramar Beach, and our bikes and a beach wheelchair were delivered to our beach house before we even arrived. Beach chairs and umbrellas were set up at about 7am each morning. Beach staff checked in with us each day to make sure we had what we needed. They took down the umbrellas pretty much right at 5pm. Many days we were still out enjoying the beach, but we would not have our chairs after that time. I felt the prices were a little high, but they were likely in line with what other companies charge. read more

Loved having the cart. When we originally priced it we did not see all the fees!! Delivery fee $50 Sales tax I get.. Booking fee $59.50. really? AND you have to add a gratuity of at least 10% or you can't book the cart! I never even saw anybody so how would I know to tip them?? So just be aware the price is not the price. read more

Stayed at Dunes of Seagrove and "Beach Shack Brennan" the king douchenozzle of beach chair and umbrella set up at our complex serves up equal parts contempt, rudeness and zero social awareness. He not only gives zero "Fs" but he wants to ensure that you know it too. He was a complete jerk to anyone trying to reserve a chair setup and we even watched him kick a lady out of her chair at 4:50pm. I have seen Roomba vacuums with more emotional intelligence than this moron. 10/10 for his tan though. But seriously, he should be fired. read more

We were staying at Destin West Resort. Standing in line 30 minutes to rent each day was ridiculous. The prices change on a whim, when challenged the kids will back down & give you the price agreed upon. The setups are so close together that you have to turn sideways to walk between the umbrellas to get to the water. You can rent extra chairs but there's no place to put them. People set up their own umbrellas right in front of you in spite of a sign saying you can't (nothing was enforced.) After a few days, we just decided to use our own & not even bother with them. The chairs are there from 9 to 5, but with 30/45 minute of check in time you lose part of the day. Extremely frustrating. read more

On our last day of vacation we had a pontoon reservation. We rented from La Dolce Vita. They sent us out an hour (actually less, like 15m) before calling it for the day. The pass back from Destin was too dangerous. We had the pontoon fill with water 3 times. Nearly capsized twice. Everything, our clothes, phones, completely soaked with water. Their associates couldn't be bothered to discount or comp the boat after putting us in a reckless and dangerous situation. The associate kept repeating that we signed the waiver. The part that bothered me the most is they decided to call it 15 minute after we left. In that fifteen minutes, they should have called us and the family that went out with toddlers. Our safety was not a concern. They chose profit. It took a lot of work for me to steer the hour journey back. I held back tears, got hit by walls of water over and over, losing my footing and falling. I've got damaged toenails, cuts, and bruises from trying to keep a pontoon from capsizing in the bay. Towards the end of the journey, after the third wall of water enter the boat, my 13 year old lost it and I struggled to stay focused on keeping the boats heading. When I got back to our rental, I just sat outside and cried, cried, cried, it was so traumatizing. I'm still traumatized. Do not, do not, do not rent from any of their companies. They put profit over the safety of people. read more

UPDATE Someone called me, by the name of Christopher & remedied the situation, he was not aware of the Destin office girls who answer the phones behavior, he was understanding and kind. My name is Maria Papadopoulos-Arnold I placed a order for chair rentals at the pelican in Destin on Friday, our order # XXXXXX Our total was $550 placed on a credit card Not only was the $550 charged but ALSO a charge of $675.45 TOTALING $1225.45 I immediately notified your staff in the office and spoke to someone I believe her name was Ashley absolutely rude, & Stated "this happens all the time". I can't imagine this happening all the time, this provided no comfort- Was also transferred to someone in billing who credited back the $675.45 via square As well as an additional $107 credit on our original order for inconvenience. Checked my account everything was fine & money back but when I woke up this morning on Saturday only to find that ALL charges were reversed back and the original $1225.45 was still there and no credit actually happened. As you can imagine I was pretty upset. I called your Destin office to relay this information, Only to be greeted with extremely rude girls on the phone who wouldn't let me even explain the situation kept transferring over to billing and essentially hung up on me twice! We are extremely upset and I will post about this experience everywhere that I can until I get resolution. I can't imagine a business with these girls answering the phones so rudely and charging people "all the time" for other peoples chairs?? When I asked for a managers phone number or email I was only greeted with we're not allowed to give that information out and there's no way to file a formal complaint. Interesting I hope someone finds this email that can actually help us remedy the situation. We have been going to the pelican Beach for the past 16 years and the previous beach service was never like this -he was a nice gentleman had a spiral notebook and we never had an issue.
