One thing worth mentioning: the seating is communal, dining hall-style, so you'll likely be sharing a table with strangers. I know that's not for everyone, but honestly, it added to the charm for me. There's a relaxed, social energy to the whole place that fits the vibe of the valley. While you wait for your table, there's a beautiful little garden to wander through, plus no shortage of picture-perfect spots around the property. The views out over the winery and valley are genuinely breathtaking -- worth showing up early just to soak it in. Food-wise, I've done both the tasting menu and à la carte on separate visits, and both were exquisite. If I'm being honest, the tasting menu edges out slightly -- it's a full journey through what the kitchen does best, and every course felt thoughtful and precise. À la carte is a great option too if you want more control over your meal, but for a first visit, go with the tasting menu. Negatives: Other than this one server being a bit of a pinche mamon I don't have anything foul to say about this establishment. I also won't mention their name because I'm not a culero (something that individual should adopt himself, ubícate wey) makes no sense to not be welcoming and / or professional at an establishment like this. We especially loved hearing him speak so highly of Lulu, Bruma's enologist, and the passion and craftsmanship behind her wines. The tour and tasting felt personal and unhurried, and OCHO, OCHO Rosé, and El Bastardo were definite favorites. We also got a charcuterie board that had probably some of the most fresh and tastiest cheese I've ever had. The two different breads with the olive oil really hit the spot. I was so amazed from this place giving its more rural location and that it is hidden. Please note that we paid a decent amount here. We arrived at the location (tucked away) off the main road. Like a lot of the good things in Valle I suppose. We soon realized we were the only two dining with the chef this night. Which meant full attention full service just for the two of us. Talk about a treat. Our waiter mentioned how the omakase would work and soon started us with drinks and water. What came after was a dream, a full experience of tastes, and adventure, and exquisiteness. A really good selection of fish from the local Ensenada region. I was in awe every time a new dish come out. I lost count, and found myself trying to savor every moment every bite, and then having a moment of clarity and asking "what course are we on?" I speak Spanish but it's not a problem if you don't. But the food is so fresh and honest and the kitchen is immaculate. I mean It's a farm but this kitchen was as clean as you'd see in a five star place inside. As mentioned, everything was fresh and made/grown in house. I was amazed at the value as well. Beers and wine and the food, all for under $80 for two.
