Wow! Great food and ambiance!…read more We went here on a Saturday for lunch and the food was delish. I know most people talk about the food, so you can catch up on that in the other reviews but damn the wines they had on offer and the mezcal was damn amazing. I had the eclipse wine and for those wanting something fruit forward, this is it! I can't remember the mescal I had, but they offered it with fried crickets and orange slices!

If you're heading out to Valle, Finca Altozano is an absolute must-stop for both the food and the…read moreexperience. The setting alone is worth the visit wide open views, rustic-modern design, and so many photo worthy spots you'll find yourself snapping pictures all throughout your visit. Whether it's the hillside views, the outdoor seating, or the golden hour lighting, this place is made for unforgettable moments. Now the food... incredible. Th ecachete is packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the pulpo is hands down one of the best I've had tender, smoky, and seasoned just right. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated without losing that Baja charm. The drinks also deserve a shoutout great mixed drinks that are refreshing, well-balanced, and perfect to sip while taking in the views. Overall, Finca Altozano delivers on all fronts: amazing food, killer drinks, and a beautiful atmosphere with plenty of photo ops. Definitely a 5-star experience and a spot I'll keep coming back to

Came here on a whim after looking at local wineries immediately where we had just gone wine…read moretasting, and I have to say that this was one of the best and more personal wine tasting I've ever had in the Valle de Guadalupe. The professionalism and charisma of the lady who took care of us was exceptional and we cannot commend how great of an experience it was from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. Because it was the day after Christmas and off-season, it wasn't busy in general for most of the wineries, so coming here was quite the treat because we nearly had the entire terrace to ourselves for the majority of our time there. The pairings consisted of mostly white ones with one of the white wines tasting like a red wine (close your eyes). She did an amazing job of explaining the stories and context behind each wine and the owner and his impressions of everything. We also got a charcuterie board that had probably some of the most fresh and tastiest cheese I've ever had. The two different breads with the olive oil really hit the spot. I was so amazed from this place giving its more rural location and that it is hidden. Please note that we paid a decent amount here. I think after the wine tastings for the both of us and the charcuterie board plus the purchasing of 3 or 4 bottles, the total was about $150 USD. Worth every penny! I'd definitely recommend this spot to others

This place was not on our itinerary, but we had some extra time in our day on our wine tasting…read moreroute, so we stopped by hear because a friend recommended it to us. I wouldn't consider this a winery, more like they serve a bunch of different wines from the wineries. The space: is large and open. Plenty of seating. There was a cute little jewelry stand too that the girls bought earrings from. We ordered: - octopus ceviche - clam ceviche - a bottle of wine - tacos The ceviche was delicious, the people were friendly, and we enjoyed the bottle of wine!

Another gorgeous winery! Their wall of wins is very impressive, very massive and towering…read more Unfortunately we came here at night, and most of the areas were dark. And it was extremely cold since its very open aired. But they were nice to bring us heat lamps. We got their house sangria pitcher, it tasted good, but it tasted more like fruit soda rather than wine. Clam Ceviche This seemed like a popular item, but honeslty the clam was too dry and overcooked and no flavor. (I don't recall the names of the other items and didn't take a picture of the menu, nor can I find a menu online, so here it goes...) Tuna Toastada This was okay, fish didn't seem that fresh, not much flavor as well. Grilled Pork + Beans and Sides The meat was very tasty, nice mixture of shredded meat and fatty skin. I tried a bite of the steak, was okay too. Overall, food and drinks are okay. Would like to see this place in the daytime.
