    Enchiladas
    Sabrina J.

The service and food is great. I had the green enchiladas with rice and beans, very authentic and Loya of flavors. The fresh tortilla chips with salsa was also delicious.

Huevos Divorciados...I scrapped all of the salsa off and couldn't even eat the whole thing. Nasty

Decided to try this place because it seemed like real Mexican food. The service was good, but I can't say the same about the food. I had the Huevos Divorciados. As soon as I took the first bite, I was disgusted. The salsa tastes like it's from a can and not homemade and the beans had no flavor. One egg was fully cooked while the other was runny as soon as I cut it. The only things that were ok were the chips and coffee...

Not TEX-MEX but authentic Mexican food prepared as it is traditionally done. Not since I left El Paso and Ciudad Juarez have I had the pleasure of having a "real" bowl of Menudo until today at La Esquina De Pepe 2. Today was our first but not last time to go. I will taste the entire menu in the coming months. The atmosphere is that of being at someone's house in Mexico with all the casual conversation and Mariachi music in the background. Everything is cooked to order and you can eat there or take it to go. The portions are generous and the accompanying sides are perfect. Treat yourself and your friends to a neat dining experience, bring them here soon!

    Tacos CAMPECHANOS. Good tacos!

This restaurant is one of my all time favorites in DFW. Great selection of Mexican dishes. My favorite Menudo and Birria place on the weekends. Both served with homemade tortillas!! My wife Loves the Fried Tacos, they have a tasty and slightly spicy shrimp filling. Just Amazing. She also loves the Cueritos, estilo Jalisco! My son LOVES Mr. Pepe's Chorizon and eggs plate but not as much as the beans. The beans in this place are so good! MY FAVORITE are the Tacos, if I'm not having Menudo or Birria, I'm having Tacos, suadero, bistek, tripa, carnitas... And the list goes on and on! Try CAMPECHANOS, a mix of Suadero and Chorizo. The best! If you like seafood, try the Vuelve a La Vido or 7 Mares Caldo. If you like Jalisco Style Mexican Food, Tacos, Menudo, seafood I recommend this restaurant. Tip - Try the Chavelas on the Appetizer Menu.

This review focuses on the Las Colinas location. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Yolk - Las Colinas is located in a new area in Irving-Las Colinas with plenty of parking. Inside it's open with plenty of seating (some outdoors too), has Yolk's bright blue and yellow colors, but my favorite features are the big windows which let in the the sun's natural light. 1 Star. Service - Our server was great. She was very attentive and made sure we always had our mugs filled with coffee. I appreciated the friendly service that was all smiles. 1 Star. Food - Yolk's menu has classic breakfast and brunch options but be sure you check to table for coffee specials. I ordered an Iced Apple Pie Latte that was served in a glass mason jar. This small detail allowed the Apple flavor to start my breakfast on a high note. Speaking of which, my Breakfast Mac & Cheese caught my attention when it was served in a skillet. I intended to only eat half, but the smokey ham paired with the creamy mac & cheese under a light panko layer was too delicious for me to stop. The prices are a bit on the high side, but otherwise a geat meal. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. DFW is getting many great breakfast/brunch spots like Yolk. If you're a big fan of breakfast (and travelling on expense), it's a great way to start your day. 1 Star.

In town, wanting authentic, so here we are!…read more First off this place is off the beaten path and honestly I thought I was lost and there it was! You walk in a tiny hallway and bam traditional old school diner, we were seated right away! Everyone is so nice. Get the big giant menu but I already went to the "lighter side" section for healthy choice and ordered the poached eggs on English with a side of grits. We also ordered the basic omelette with the biscuit option. Served quick but enjoyed seeing some really delicious looking plates come out to other tables. My English mussin was literally perfect so thin too, poached eggs perfect, grits, OMG super yummy, omelette was perfect. Ok! Let's move on to the fresh made buttermilk biscuits and gravy. I must say for the record I hate gravy not even at thanksgiving but wanted to try this southern luxury. TO DIE FOR! And same with the biscuits, the very best I ever had and I ended up instead of tasting, I ate a whole biscuit! Yep I did and with the gravy! This is a must eat here place! If I could give 10 stars I would!

The food was flat‑out amazing -- fresh, flavorful, and the kind of "just good food" that hits your soul after a long night of singing your heart out. Our server? Easily one of the best I've had in a long time. Friendly, attentive, and somehow always there at the perfect moment without hovering. You can tell they take pride in making people feel welcome. The whole place has that classic, comforting Texas charm -- nothing fancy, just great people serving great food. After a high‑energy concert, it was the perfect reset. If you're in Arlington and want a spot that treats you right and feeds you even better, this is it. I'll definitely be back.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Tupelo Honey is a stand-alone restaurant conveniently located near Hwy 114 and 161. There's plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and a mixture of tables, booths, and bar seating. Speaking of the bar, it acts as a beautiful backdrop for the entire restaurant. 1 Star. Service - The service is always friendly. Our server is always smiling, and I can't help but feel welcome with southern charm. Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam. I always ask for an extra side of butter and jam because I use it all. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Honey Dusted Fried Chicken (dark). The chicken was perfectly fried, crispy, and sweet. And the dark meat was juicy. Pro Tips - use your hands. Another great dish was experienced. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. I have yet to have a below average dish at Tupelo Honey. Yes, it's a chain. But it's also a darn good chain that keeps its menu fresh and is worth multiple visits. 1 Star.

They did seem a little busy and I believe there may have been a shift change at some point. It took us 15 mins to get a table outside. I will add the wait time is the only bummer in my experience. It took a good minute to get our beverages and food. There was a crowd but it seemed to be in and out pretty quicky. The food was great! I ordered their sangria, very refreshing and not overly sweet. Southern shakshuka. $15.99 two eggs* baked in a tomato, spinach, & peperonata sauce, over stone-ground goat cheese grits, topped with basil (710 cal) - This combo was good, loved the creaminess and even had leftovers for the next day. Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken & Waffles $16.99 Hand-breaded crispy chicken tenders drizzled with sriracha honey, served over golden buttermilk waffles. --enjoyed the Spiciness it truly was subtle but did grow as you continued to eat. The buttermilk Waffles were fluffy and light and full bite with the drizzled syrup was everything. Enjoyed the flavors of the whiskey flight and happy you have the flavor cards to be able to give the tasting a proper review. Over all price is average in comparison but the food quality is there so I have no issue spending an extra dollar or so. I would like to stop by again when it's less busy.
