    Enchiladas
    Sabrina J.

The service and food is great. I had the green enchiladas with rice and beans, very authentic and Loya of flavors. The fresh tortilla chips with salsa was also delicious.

Huevos Divorciados...I scrapped all of the salsa off and couldn't even eat the whole thing. Nasty

Decided to try this place because it seemed like real Mexican food. The service was good, but I can't say the same about the food. I had the Huevos Divorciados. As soon as I took the first bite, I was disgusted. The salsa tastes like it's from a can and not homemade and the beans had no flavor. One egg was fully cooked while the other was runny as soon as I cut it. The only things that were ok were the chips and coffee...

Not TEX-MEX but authentic Mexican food prepared as it is traditionally done. Not since I left El Paso and Ciudad Juarez have I had the pleasure of having a "real" bowl of Menudo until today at La Esquina De Pepe 2. Today was our first but not last time to go. I will taste the entire menu in the coming months. The atmosphere is that of being at someone's house in Mexico with all the casual conversation and Mariachi music in the background. Everything is cooked to order and you can eat there or take it to go. The portions are generous and the accompanying sides are perfect. Treat yourself and your friends to a neat dining experience, bring them here soon!

    Tacos CAMPECHANOS. Good tacos!

This restaurant is one of my all time favorites in DFW. Great selection of Mexican dishes. My favorite Menudo and Birria place on the weekends. Both served with homemade tortillas!! My wife Loves the Fried Tacos, they have a tasty and slightly spicy shrimp filling. Just Amazing. She also loves the Cueritos, estilo Jalisco! My son LOVES Mr. Pepe's Chorizon and eggs plate but not as much as the beans. The beans in this place are so good! MY FAVORITE are the Tacos, if I'm not having Menudo or Birria, I'm having Tacos, suadero, bistek, tripa, carnitas... And the list goes on and on! Try CAMPECHANOS, a mix of Suadero and Chorizo. The best! If you like seafood, try the Vuelve a La Vido or 7 Mares Caldo. If you like Jalisco Style Mexican Food, Tacos, Menudo, seafood I recommend this restaurant. Tip - Try the Chavelas on the Appetizer Menu.

While I liked…read morethe general flavor of the sandwich, I wish they would have put more meat and toppings on it. The fries tasted like they were cooked in peanut oil and they were specially seasoned. They were a bit on the salty side, but otherwise they were good. The combo cost around $10 plus some change. Seems a bit expensive for what I got since my drink was from a can. Service was good, they greeted me as soon as I walked up to the counter to take my order. The guy was quick, but friendly. I didn't have to wait too long for my food, which was good because I was hungry. As for ambiance, it's a small hole in the wall type of place. It was clean for the most part. It had bar seating with only three stools. There were a couple of short chairs next to a high bar on the opposite side. They have outdoor seating, but it's only one table with four chairs. There's a big bulletin board sort of cluttered with business cards on the wall and they were playing very eclectic music ranging from 80's, 90's, country, grunge, to some of today's music. Basically seemed like someone was using their iPod on shuffle. I guess I didn't exactly expect fancy for a fast food style sandwich place that's attached to a 7-11, but I had hoped for more to my sandwich and better seating.

My boyfriend loved the chop cheese 5/5 I was not a fan of the chicken Caesar wrap because the texture of the chicken is off. It was tough and chewy and made me lose my appetite completely. Aside from that aspect the actual taste of the Caesar salad was good. 3/5 My daughter had the same issue with the chicken sandwich, she wasn't a fan because of that. The fries are basic, some were crunchy with a soft inside and some were very hard. 2/5 I am not sure we will return as the food is basic for an expensive price. I would suggest they at least offer some type of combo option to include a side and drink.

KKC has some of the best halal fried chicken I've had in the US, especially in the DFW area. This is one of those comfort meals you crave at 9 PM on a Tuesday that can't be beat. The ambiance is that of your average hole in the wall chicken joint. Overall I rate this place 8 s/10. ------------ The Zinger burger (basically a spicy chicken sandwich) is my go to order from here, a solid 8.5/10. They always put a huge chicken patty in there and a generous amount of sauce. You really can't go wrong. Their chicken itself is an 8/10, upgraded to 8.5 with the garlic sauce. They really got the spices down right. I would not recommend the Mac and cheese (5/10), it's very watery and lacked any flavor. The potato wedges were great though. (Although I'm not sure how you could mess those up).

One thing to note is that some of the side dishes have different prices on online orders when you add them on to your entrees vs. adding them separately ($.99 + difference). **Average Dish Cost(s): Under $8. **Food: 3 Piece White Meat Meal ($9.28)-- I chose white meat ($.80) and extra biscuits ($1.89) which increased the price from $6.59. The chicken was extremely delicious. It tasted fresh despite my order being late in the day and the skin was crisp and seasoned so well that I ate all of it. Usually I'll peel the skin off and discard it, but not this time. The white meat was juicy and nothing pink was found. 10/10. Extra biscuits ($1.89)-- These biscuits were some of the best I've ever had. Their outward appearance didn't match how delicious they were. They were soft and had an essence of honey to them. Side Mashed Potatoes ($2.99)-- I admit I was hesitant to eat this because I expected more of a brown gravy, but these were amazing! Not too salty and they tasted fresh. **Seating: Looked to have regular table style seating that is closed off due to the virus issue. **Location: It's located next to a bunch of other establishments within a mini strip type of place. Google GPS lead me to a park that's a but away, so be careful. Lots of parking spaces.
