The prime rib was super tender and cooked perfectly! Salad was good and bread was delish and given with plenty of butter! I didn't realize it came with a small dessert so that was a nice surprise! It was also delicious! Host was super sweet and the food came out quickly!

A half hour later, we were seated at a table in their covered patio area. Service was great, very attentive staff that treated us well! Food had some hiccups though. The shrimp bisque that came with our order was a bit thin, and light on shrimp (one of our two bowls didn't have any shrimp at all). We each ordered a sirloin, and each came out a bit overcooked. My medium rare came out medium (pictured), and a medium came out medium well. Maybe the grill was running too hot toward the end of their service. Still, the meat itself was good, and the appetizer was pretty tasty. We settled for the stuffed mushrooms because they ran out of sirloin by the time we were seated. Despite a few hiccups, still a nice place to go in this area if you need to scratch that steak itch.

My mother raved about how great the relatively new Lost Mesa Grill is and we decided to stop by on our way out of town. I'm vegan due to health reasons and eating out is always a chore for me. We were quite thrilled to see there were several vegan options on their rather extensive menu. We opted for the mushroom, black bean and corn tacos with a side of refried beans. The ingredients were fresh and absolutely delicious! Other items on the menu looked delicious as well, ranging from comfort food such as chicken fried steak to ribeyes to a southwest steak salad or roasted beet salad. (Marinated tofu could be substituted for meat.) Brandon, our server, was wonderful, and being a fellow vegan, he had great recommendations. And to top it off, the owner had a box of vegetable from his overflowing garden free for the taking! This restaurant is a fabulous little gem for any community, much less such a small town and it easily meets the dietary needs of all clientele. (They even have gluten free buns for their burgers.) If you're going through Cedaredge or even if you want to make a detour off Hwy 50, you'll be happy you stopped at the Lost Mesa Grill for a fabulous meal!

My 6'5" husband asked politely for a larger table. The waitress gave us a heavy sigh, swooped up the menus, and walked over to a larger table, dropped the menus on the table and walked away! We ALMOST left! Took 35 minutes to get our food. Food (hamburger and fries) was ridiculously expensive considering they weren't all that tasty. Between rude staff, over inflated prices, and very average food, we won't be back!

This place... wtf?…read more It's a tent attached to a semi-permanent structure. How do they even lock it up at night? The food was waaay overpriced for said structure. I ordered a martini and the waitress spilled it all over our table... didn't wipe it up... didn't offer me another. The Caesar salad dressing was sweet? My husband's food was fine, but this is like the only restaurant in town and it's a joke. The ambiance is "trying to be a restaurant" but let's be honest, it isn't. It's a glorified food tent with steakhouse pricing. I guess if you randomly wind up in a stupid little town called Silt, it's a "restaurant" per se.

They even sat us at a table with south hanging lake pictured which we just came hiking from! For drinks i got an espresso martini which was average. It came with the shaker with some left over martini that didn't fit in the glass which was generous. I got the salad and the fillet with mashed potatoes for dinner. Also pictured is the 10oz bistro steak. The salad was crispy and fresh only thing that i thought was weird was that they didn't have Italian dressing. Everything about the steak and sides for the entrees were excellent which we were not really expecting to get from a smaller town. The cheese/house demi glaze on the fillet was phenomenal. One thing to add is that the steaks tasted completely different with the sauces we definitely preferred the fillet sauce but the bistro steak was not bad. We were not expecting sweet mashed potatoes which we normally aren't a fan of but these were thick and tasty. We even ate the carrots and zucchini which we also normally aren't a fan of. The sauce and everything put together elevated the whole dish and sides. Overall i would recommend stopping by this place! They have a huge martini selection and all of the food exceeded our standards. The prices were also reasonable. We had no complaints and the patio area was really nice with the fire pit.

Got chicken quesadilla appetizer for the kids, 1/2 rack of ribs, and street tacos (one pulled pork, one grilled chicken, and one beer battered cod) with beans and cilantro rice. The service was kind and I picked it up on time. The orders were hand-written on the boxes. Inside the store was pretty standard for a Southwestern style casual dining restaurant. Dark walls, decent lighting. So as far as affordability...here's where it fell flat. I'll say, the food was all flavorful. If it was taste alone, it would be a 5 star. BUT... The street tacos were comparable in size to Del Taco's street tacos... so...not much. For the price point, not worth it. The "1/2 rack" of St. Louis Style Ribs had a total of 4 ribs. Like...would their 1/4 rack only have 2 ribs?? The best value item was the chicken quesadilla, but we paid extra to sub sour cream for the salsa (my kids can't handle "spice"), and it came in a SMALL condiment cup. Ultimately, we polished off our dinner and had to supplement everything with other foods. Which we'd be fine with except at the price we paid, anywhere else would have easily left us satisfied. Ultimately, it was good and people were kind, so it just amounts to a big sigh.

We sat down tonight for our anniversary dinner and the place was only at ~50% of capacity at 7 PM on a Friday for the 4th of July weekend. We tried to order an app before dinner while we decided on entrees and wine to go with it, we were told they could only put in an app order at the same time as a dinner order. Really? You really need to move tables that fast on a Friday when it's half full? We've been coming here for years, but the hurried service is now very off putting. When we finished dinner and left just over 1 hour later, the place was maybe 60% full. We spent nearly $300 on our anniversary dinner and were rushed the entire time. The food was phenomenal as always, but the hurried atmosphere takes the fun out of a nice relaxing dinner out. We've been told this is at the direction of the owners and I hope they read these reviews. Péche used to be a special place for an excellent dinner out to savor and celebrate, but now it seems to be a table turnover priority, but of course along with high quality food. That hasn't been sacrificed, like the experience has.
