Cranberry muffin and strawberry hot tea...yummy

The cranberry muffin is great. Soft and very tasteful. I'm having the strawberry hot tea. I've never had it before and it's delicious.

What a cute addition to downtown Westport! Stopped by here with a friend on a hot summer day. We each got a large gelato - I picked three flavors: almond, Nutella and gianduja. The gelato was delicious and I'm definitely glad I opted for the large size. Staff here was friendly and the location is great. LOVE the little private alcoves where you can sit with your friends/family etc. There's plenty of seating in front as well. They've also got a great selection of pastries, cookies, tea and coffee to take home. Can't wait to go back!

La Fenice is a cute gelato shop is downtown Westport. I don't usually have gelato, it just isn't as common around here as ice cream. However, I have tried some of the dreamiest gelato when I traveled to Venice, Italy a few years ago. I know what true gelato tastes like. I've also had some excellent gelato here in Connecticut. Unfortunately, I have to say I was extremely disappointed with the gelato from La Fenice, and it could be just the particular flavor I got that was flawed. I got the hazelnut flavor, it sounded like a great classic choice. They also have about a dozen delicious sounding other flavors. I got the smallest size. The cups are tiny and they're $5.00. I thought that's a bit steep for how little the cups are, this size is usually considered kids size in most ice cream shops. But they call it one scoop here. I suppose it's fine since this is gelato. This gelato was very odd, it had a grainy, sandy texture to it, not like chocolate chips or something that's typically in gelato, like something wasn't done when processing the ingredients and mixing them. There was also a weird flowery under taste to it. I don't get it. My friend got the pistachio flavor, hers was much better, but not the best pistachio I've ever tasted. This little shop also offers a variety of pastries, smoothies and coffee. They have the most adorable little intimate booths for two with beautiful images of parts of Italy. I've only tried the gelato, I can't comment on their other offerings. I'm sorry to say this was the worst gelato I've ever had. If it tasted as it should, had no weird under taste, or texture, I'd still question the $5.00 price tag for such a tiny amount. Maybe if I visit in the future I'll try one of their pastries and a coffee. For now, I just can't recommend La Fenice.

On a random afternoon I stopped at La Fenice for gelato. Mango and lemon was nice-medium was $6. Not cheap. Lots on the menu which I missed- sweet and savory crepes! Nice time!

This place had amazing gelato! The service was also really good and it was a cute little shop. I would definitely go back and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a wide variety of fresh gelato. There was also only only flavor containing gluten, which I really appreciated that the staff knew instantly what I meant when I asked if any flavors were gluten free.

A Gorgeous Greenhouse Escape (With a Few Pro-Tips!)…read more Honestly, walking into Terrain Garden Cafe in Westport feels like stepping directly into a high-end botanical dream. If you've ever shopped at Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters and thought, "I wish I could live inside this aesthetic," well... that makes perfect sense once you learn that the CEO of those brands actually founded Terrain to get people back in touch with gardening. They've completely nailed the vibe. The space is a massive, 16,000-square-foot wonderland of natural light, plants, hanging lanterns, and gorgeous seasonal displays. But let's talk about the real star: the Garden Café, which sits right in the east wing of the greenhouse. It merges this stunning indoor greenhouse space with an open-air brick patio and a full-service bar. Here is my honest breakdown and how to navigate this place like a local: The Parking Situation (Read This Before You Go!) * The Weekend Rush: Weekends here--especially around lunchtime--are absolutely chaotic. Parking can be a total nightmare. Do yourself a favor and just use the valet. It saves so much frustration. * The Weekday Cheat Code: If you can swing a weekday visit, do it. It's way quieter, and I've never once had an issue finding a parking spot on a Tuesday or Wednesday. * Going Solo? When I'm by myself, I bypass the host stand entirely and grab a seat at the bar. There's almost never a wait, and the service is always fast and friendly. * Group Dinners: When I'm with friends, we always request the outdoor dining area if the weather is nice. A quick heads-up for pet owners: We used to love bringing our dogs to eat with us on the outdoor patio, but apparently some people complained, so they now strictly enforce a "no animals except service animals" policy. It's a bummer, but the food and experience are still totally worth the trip. The Food: Fresh, Seasonal, & Delicious Their menu is farm-to-table and highly seasonal, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Two of my personal favorites: * The Breakfast Board: If you want a classic, no-nonsense, high-quality morning meal, get this. It comes with two free-range eggs, applewood smoked bacon, breakfast sausage, potato hash, sourdough, and a side of dressed greens. It's simple but executed perfectly. * The Short Rib & Eggs: If you want to treat yourself to something a bit more decadent, this is the move. It's coffee-braised short rib with a poached egg and potato hash. The meat is literally fork-tender and melts in your mouth. 10/10. Verdict: It's beautiful, the food is delicious, and the retail store is incredibly fun to browse after you eat. Just plan your parking ahead of time!

They have a small bar area which we ended up sitting at because I grossly underestimated how popular this place is. So please make reservations. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. The food was incredible. The drinks were very good. We went for brunch. You can tell everything we ordered was flavorful, but well balanced and utilized the finest of ingredients. I love how they have different flavored butter with the bread depending on the day. It's a nice touch. Service was exceptional. It is BUSY for brunch. You can tell everyone is doing their best to take care of everyone's needs. They are calm, professional, and efficient. Attentive to our needs. We plan to go back for dinner.

Small stale bun, no pickles and tons of chopped lettuce. Not worth waiting 30 minutes for at all! Have eaten at multiple G & T locations where the service was MUCH better. Highly recommend the Cos Cob location. Excellent cook and great customer service. Staff in Westport acts like they could absolutely care less about customer service.
