T-Swirl Crepe is everything I hoped it would be! It's a small shop with some seating. The kitchen is open concept so that you can see how they are making your items, whether it is a delightfully filled crepe or a bubble tea. It is extremely clean! The flavor choices are very creative and it honestly is hard to Choose. On the most recent trip there, I ordered a lychee and raspberry mini crepe, yes, there are two sizes. The mini is more than enough. I did have the large once and I wish I had shared it! There is also a small freezer section for take home items like mochi and some fun treats seemingly popular on tik tok. Overall, I love it! I look forward to reasons to get to Ffld to enjoy. There are some comments about the pricing , and no, it isn't cheap, but the quality is there so it's worth the money. @date_night_craves on instagram

T-Swirl Crepes is a fun option for dessert.  There are a lot of different options from fruity to chocolatey.  We tried the chocolate crèpe brulee, the mango deluxe and the banana chocolate.  Although we enjoyed all three, I think the banana chocolate and the mango ones edged out the chocolate crème brulee one.  Each crepe comes in a cardboard envelope which rests in a metal holder.  Though these work, they are still a little awkward and the crepes can be hard to get out of the cardboard when you are towards the bottom.  Of course, where there is a will - there is a way and I ended up ripping off pieces of the cardboard until I could grasp the crepe again.  The space has several tables as well as a retail portion.  The only problem can be the parking which is pretty limited and tough to exit.  Still, again, where Nutella and banana is the prize, we will find a way to park

Very good, and super fast service. You can eat there and the inside is very clean and cute. They have other things than crepes like bubble tea and Japanese snacks. You can order with the screen and get points if you put in your phone number!

I remember visiting a different T-Swirl Crepe location a few years back, so I was really excited to hear that they had opened a location in Fairfield! The space is really bright and inviting, and also exceptionally clean, even in the kitchen which you can see into very clearly. I'm very particular about my boba tea, and these passed the test! They weren't artificial and I was impressed that my strawberry milk tea even had fresh strawberries in it. Both of the crepes we had were so good, and it was my first time trying a crème brûlée style crepe, which is now my new favorite! Loved the snack selection they had in the shop too. The staff was really friendly! I definitely see a lot of visits to this T-Swirl location in our future!

7. Lychee Romantic Crepe Jasmine Green Milk Tea

I got the Lychee romantic Crêpe and the jasmine milk tea boba. The lychee romantic I got with strawberry substitute instead of raspberry (allergic) and it was pretty good. I will say the strawberry's were definitely not in season. They were extremely bitter and sour. The jasmine milk tea was okay, the milk is powdered so it did give it an off taste. These pearls are more in the firmer side. I can't really say anything about the service as we went on a day they looked like they were having a health inspection. I'm assuming he was the manager or owner was very distracted and after we got our food a few other people walked in.

I have to agree with other comments - this place is very pricey for a crepe and boba. The crepe pic looks more full than it was - it definitely wasn't as full as the pics taken by the restaurant. I was a bit disappointed when I saw it. It was good and the cookies and cream gelato was also good. Not sure I go out of my way to go again.

It's ok. Fulfills the crepe craving. Overpriced for what it is. Cheaper to make at home.

Enjoy fresh delicious crepes at this cozy European style crêperie in Darien. Service is always warm…read moreand friendly. It's the perfect place to chill any time of the day. Savory crepes are offered Breton style using buckwheat flour. These galettes bretonnes are light and crispy with an earthly toasted flavor, the ideal counterpoint to the fillings that accompany them such as hearty European cheeses, charcuterie, tangy pickles or spicy arugula leaves. Among them, galettes Choupette (fig, arugula, prosciutto, goat cheese), Ractiflette (potato, watercress, Raclette cheese, charcuterie) and Complète Jambon (Gruyère, organic egg, country ham) are super delish and totally worth a try. Sweet crepes, made with whole wheat flour, are the soft fluffy crepes we are more familiar with around here. Personal favorites include the Traditionnelle (butter, sugar), Hugette (pear, dark chocolate, almonds) and the Amour et jalousie (Nutella, banana, strawberry). Lots of beverage options here! The coffee is great, as are their ciders and their freshly squeezed (orange or grapefruit) juices.

What an excellent find on the lower east side…read more Mrs. E. is a sweet crepe aficionado. If it's not honey and butter she would've ordered the apple, caramel and walnut crepe. She reports an excellent experience! I tried the more savory Smoked Turkey with shrooms and Swiss Cheese. As big as they are, it was so good I was still thinking of getting seconds. They also have vegetarian, fruit and chocolate crepes. They are open until 2am. Not that we'd ever need it, it's nice to know. We stopped at a good time mid-morning, not too long a line and it moved pretty fast. The place is a bit small but there's seating outside. If there wasn't so much NYC to see, we would definitely be back. 10/24

Solid! We spent 3 weeks in Paris in the springtime and I fell even more in love with crêpes and…read moregalettes while there, so naturally I'm searching for good crêpes at home. Creperie on Ludlow St came up in my search and we happened to be down that way on Sunday. I'm also a huge ice cream and gelato fan, but husband is lactose intolerant so he prefers non-dairy. Last year we discovered the amazing vegan ice cream at Orchard Grocery, but I wanted the real thing this trip and he apparently hadn't wanted a frozen treat at all so wouldn't do Orchard Grocer for himself and a different place for me. Happy medium? Share a good crêpe! We found it at Crêperie. SO many choices, many similar to ones we loved in France. Extensive selection, but it didn't take long to decide on the apple-walnut-caramel crêpe to share, costing not much more than 2 ice creams. We watched the lone young man as he poured batter onto the round griddle to just the perfect thinness; as he expertly flipped it; as he loaded on plenty of apple compote, plenty of walnuts, and gently squeezed caramel sauce. Then he folded it into a neat rectangle, scooped it into an exactly the same size pan, flipped the whole thing over onto another griddle and left it to heat while he made a crêpe for the person behind us. At exactly the right moment (was he watching the clock? or maybe he's just THAT good!), he flipped it over, slid the crêpe onto a plate, artistically drizzled more caramel sauce on top and then gently shook some powdered sugar over it. Handed me 2 forks and knives and we sat on stools at the counter for our Sunday afternoon treat! Excellent! They have several savory crêpes (in Paris, those were usually buckwheat crêpes called galettes) and many sweet ones. Unfortunately it's more of a takeout place, with just the few stools at a counter inside, and a couple of small tables outside. I'm still looking for a genuine Parisian-style restaurant with a good selection of galettes and crêpes - but this was a great find and I definitely recommend it to you!
