Food was overcooked but good. The service was horrible. Our waitress was so rude. It was a young girl. The moment we walked in she acted like it was a bother to do her job. I ordered a margarita on the rocks she brought a blended one. I said I ordered on the rocks. She gave me attitude. My husbands drink was also wrong but he didn't want to deal with her. Never got our water we ordered. She sat at a table on her phone. It is 4 pm and the other table had their food and us were the only people in there. When we went to register to pay my husband asked her about cost of one of the items. He thought it was a different price. It was his mistake. She picked up a menu and threw it at him! He again asked the price her response "I know the prices you dont" I commented on her being rude and did not need to be. I paid my bill then she didn't give me my card back. Not sure why. After I asked for it she tossed it at me. Sorry she had to do her job. As I was walking out she called me a very rude name. I used to love this place. The male waiters are amazing. We had an early dinner for six, including two kids. Our server was attentive and personable without being weird about it. The food arrived in a timely fashion, and everything looked and tasted freshly prepared. I ordered the Enchiladas Supreme plate, with four different enchiladas--chicken, shredded beef, beans, and cheese--covered in ranchero sauce. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! Being vegetarian this has been one of the restaurants my family frequented. Tonight ruined that, I ordered my usual (beans, rice, cheese dip and 2 tortillas) After eating 1/2 our meal....I found a big ROACH (antennas and all) in the Beans I was Just Eating!!! We told them, and walked out without so much as an apology! The projectile vomiting started as soon as I got out the door. This is pretty good tex-mex type food. Its not the best in Sioux City, but that's more because we're fortunate to have a lot of good mexican here. I especially love the chili relleno. Sure it might not be the most authentic, but there's something about tex-mex and a good corona or margarita. read more

We were there a couple of days ago and it was not what everyone below says, perhaps it has changed hands or the people leaving the reviews are family. I had the suggested beef burrito and my husband had a pork burrito. My "beef" was smothered in beans and rice so it was difficult to find the beef, when I did find it I must admit it was tasty. My husband's pork was tasteless. The sauce on top of the burritos was a tomato sauce....period. It had no other flavor. It was 1:30 in the afternoon and they had a sign in two places saying they had $1.00 off of margaritas so my husband ordered one. When it came time to pay they would not honor it saying it was only for dinner (although it did not specify that). I had water and when I asked for a refill I only got 1/2 of a glass. It was terrible service and not very good food. I am sorry but would not reccomend this place at all. read more

Went there for lunch today.. I ordered steak tacos for my two youngest boys. It was $3.25 for each tacos. I ended up paying $17 for 5 bland, unseasoned, steak tacos! outrageous.! When I ordered my second michelada, they guy told me they had run out of the tomato juice that goes with it.!? What kinda place runs out of ingredients!? I will not be going back. read more

Food wasn't very good. I had chicken fajitas and the veggies were huge chunks. Onion skin tough and looked like the outside of the onion you wouldn't normally eat. Salt was the primary spice.
