Fun ambience, great service, wonderful food at excellent prices. Will definitely be back next time in Springfield area. In fact, will be back in this June for work with a group of 12, I already informed our group where will be eating. Thank you!!

Thursday night it is very busy yet we are seated immediately and served warm fresh chips and salsa immediately. Regular margaritas (12 ounces) were strong and tasted great only $2.99 each. The chimicangas were fresh and tasted delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for great Mexican food.

Don't normally do this on a business trip, but I have to post a review because this was the best taco salad I have ever had. Since it was taco Tuesday, I decided to go to authentic Mexican restaurant. I went to La Fiesta Grande in Springfield. It was very busy for a Tuesday night, and I ordered a fajita taco salad with steak. I have to say, it was the best taco salad i have ever had . Most places make them way too big - too much food and too much lettuce (which is cheap) - this one was just the right size, served on a hot plate. Also, at a lot of places by the time I get the taco salad, the tortilla shell is soft and mushy. This one was crisp and just tasted really good. Not overstuffed with lettuce, plenty of steak, and really well grilled vegetables. finished the whole thing..,,

You had me at $2 margaritas! My family was in town with me on a business trip and we gave this place a try as it was recommended by a friend and also it was very close to our hotel. It did not disappoint. The 3 of shared a bunch of things and the wife and I enjoyed their delicious margarita special. I love that they have a large outdoor patio. We were there on a perfect day and it was so nice to be able to enjoy the great weather. Our server was so friendly and she gave amazing recommendations. I would absolutely return to this restaurant should we return to Springfield.

Butternut Squash ENCHILADAS??? Si Señor!! I would have never put those two together but they are muy bueno!!!! Try them out!!!

Fiesta steak (shrimp, mushroom topped) with beans and rice. Very fatty cut of meat. Not very good.

I was looking for something with beans and originally ordered the breakfast huarache, mistakenly assuming it was a burrito. I prefer flour tortillas over corn, which started a whole conversation about how the dish is prepared. First, our waiter went to the kitchen to check on modifications, then a second waiter kindly came over to explain the traditional preparation, and finally, the chef himself came out to help! He explained that a huarache is open-faced, not a burrito, but immediately offered a perfect solution: he could custom-make their breakfast burrito using pinto beans as the protein for me instead. When the chef brought it out, it was HUGE. He took the time to explain exactly how he made it and told me to just ask for him or request the modification next time. Not only was the service incredibly attentive, but the burrito was easily the best I've ever had. It's 9 hours later and I am still full from eating just half of it! The food is amazing, the restaurant is clean, and it's clear this team truly cares about their customers. We will definitely be back!

We got some chips and salsa as we waited. I'm pretty sure that the chips were house made since they were different from other kinds of tortilla chips I had. The salsa was good, but I definitely would've loved a little more spice to it. We got the Enchiladas Suizas and a Fajita Burrito. The burrito was pretty good, but if I were to go again I'd probably choose something different from the Enchiladas. Just was not for me. I did like how spicy they were though! One thing that also stood out was that much of the time when I go to Mexican restaurants, the portions are pretty big for the prices. The portions were definitely not tiny, but smaller than I would maybe expect for a Mexican restaurant for the price that we paid. I'm not sure if we would choose to go back in the future since it was a stop along the way for a trip for us, but it was not a bad stop. They do have a large parking lot out front which makes parking super easy and that is always a huge plus!

I ordered the green enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious--perfectly rolled tortillas filled with flavorful meat, smothered in a rich green sauce, and drizzled with crema and queso fresco. The refried beans were smooth and creamy, and the rice was fluffy with a great seasoning. The burrito was a showstopper! Stuffed with tender steak and grilled veggies, then topped with a creamy, slightly spicy sauce and fresh pico de gallo. The drizzle of crema and queso fresco gave it an extra layer of indulgence. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the portion size was very generous! Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Neither of us liked the chips and salsa...the chips were dry and the "salsa" tasted like tomato sauce that had a little hot sauce added to it. The atmosphere was tired and, on a day when it was 100-plus outside either the air conditioning couldn't keep up or, worse, hadn't been turned on at all.
