    Chicken Soup
    Dominique H.

The chicken soup is delicious! I sat at the bar and ordered soup and a margarita. The chicken soup is flavorful and the chicken is tender. It came with crackers. Perfect for a winter day. The onions and tomatoes added the extra goodness to the bowl. I could eat this everyday. The bartender took a minute to take my order but the food made up for the service. This restaurant is one of those small family neighborhood spots that doesn't have all the thrills as if you were downtown. It's chill and not to overwhelming.

Staff is very professional, restaurant is clean. No loud music so you can hold conversation with TVs. The food is good mexican cuisine. Dishes are standard to menu. Good portion size. Their restaurant is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. Came for Friday dinner. Food came quick. Margaritas were good. All in all I had a good experience. 7 adults with a price around $250.

It was date night and I wanted tacos. As I am open to new places, I let him choose and he chose La Fiesta - Fairburn. Pulling in, as the restaurant is in the shopping with Publix the traffic is crazy. La Fiesta - Fairburn sits in the corner in a weird area which makes the parking limited and tight. However, I was able to find a parking spot and we were ready to eat. Walking in, the hostess area is very spacious. There is a waiting area to the left for to-go orders, and the bar is directly in front of you. The host was at the stand and welcomed us when we walked in. We were able to be seated immediately and were taken into the main area. The main area is HUGE. There are booths along the wall and tables in the middle. The lighting is bright and there are multiple televisions along the wall. As this was date night, I was not in love with the ambiance. Though there is nothing specifically wrong with the environment as a whole, considering the conversational aspect of date night and being in the middle of a large room, it wasn't the best environment for a date. However, it's ideal for friends, family, or even a date night that's not as conversation heavy... Once seated, the hostess provided the table with chips and salsa and advised our waiter would be with us shortly. Our waitress arrived at our table and was ready for our drink orders. She was very nice and welcomed us to La Fiesta - Fairburn. Upon placing our drink orders she gave us some time to review the menu. the menu is simple so you won't feel overwhelmed and has all of the general items to cure any taco themed desire. Once our waitress was back, I placed my order for the Birria Tacos (comes with 3) and a side of Mexican Rice. Insert Jeopardy Theme Music Here... Once the food came, I was excited. Everything looked amazing. The rice was spot on. It was exactly what I desired. Tender, well seasoned, and authentic to the flavor profile of Mexican Rice. I ate the entire plate of rice and was not upset with my carb based consumption. lol. The Birria Tacos were visually appealing. The corn based shell didn't pair well for me with the meat and consome blend. The shell was super grainy and had a flavor profile that overpowered the consome. The meat was tender but not soft, it was a texture that was fitting for the shell but it didn't melt in my mouth like I'm accustomed to. I will admit, these will not be on my must have list. If I were to come back, I would try something different. However, I will always get the rice! Our Takeaways: Not good for a first date. Don't get the Birria if you aren't a corn shell lover. The Rice is a MUST HAVE. The service is good. Parking is weird. Ambiance is Vibrant. With that said... Go get you some rice.

Went on Taco Tuesday. No major frills on the inside but typical bar area with bar seating and high stops and a separate dining area with plenty of seating with booths along the wall and tables in the middle. Perfect layout for groups. Server came fast to table for drink orders, followed by food orders. Food came out fast (was surprisingly not crowded for a Tuesday). Food has good size portions and was good. Parking is hectic to get into the lot and out with the volume of cars as it is on a shopping plaza.

Mango margarita on the rocks with tajin rim

I dined in at La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant Friday night with my best friend around 8:30 PM. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was smiling and friendly. He took our drink orders first and gave us a few minutes to review the menu. Then, he returned with our water and we ordered margaritas. The price was not on the menu for them but they offered two sizes (12 oz and 20 oz) and different flavors. I opted for the 12 oz. mango margarita with a tajin rim (it was around $8) on the rocks and bestie ordered a peach margarita. It was okay after a nice stir and not shy of tequila. The free chips and salsa were also good! My bestie ordered the spinach dip (said it was good) and we both ordered the quesabirria tacos with mild sauce. It came with three tacos with cilantro, onion and beef with white cheese. It was flavorful and paired well with the consume and mild sauce! I ended up ordered an extra set of tacos to go for my hubby & he loved them. The only hiccup was the length of time it took to get our checks and server to return to bring us the to go containers for leftovers. We then realized that it was because the restaurant closed at 10 PM. They were still very friendly and helpful despite of getting ready to close. I would return for dinner and drinks again and come a little earlier next time. I recommend this location if you're near Fairburn.

My first time trying this restaurant and everything was amazing! The ambiance was pleasant! Freddi was our waiter and he makes the BEST lemon drop! I ordered the Birria Tacos and Mexican rice and the food did not disappoint! I will definitely be dining in again!

Not sure how I missed this hidden gem! Came on a week day so it wasn't busy. We were greeted immediately but then it took 20 min for our server to finally come over, annoying, but he was nice and apologetic and took our drink orders. We had to ask for chips which took another 20min. Not sure if our server was distracted but he was just very slow and seemed distracted. The place was very clean the food came out fast - I enjoyed all of it. My favorite actually was the salsa - it thick Chunky and spicy, the chips were good too. I will be back to explore more if then menu

We ordered our school lunch from Fiesta Mexican Restaurant in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Despite a few communication issues with our orders, the manager, Jose, was gracious and respectful of our time and the money spent on our staff orders. Although I didn't dine in, the restaurant was very full and busy when we picked up our orders. The restaurant is spacious, with a bar for additional seating. On a beautiful afternoon, there were many people having lunch on the patio. The lunch crowd was notably present from 11 AM to 2 PM. The food was okay overall. I loved the barbacoa tacos, but I wasn't a fan of the ground beef. The rice was good, but the beans lacked flavor. I'd give them another try and would like to experience dining in next time.

Great spot to visit if you are looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch. The restaurant is huge and clean with Mexican theme decor. The menu is massive so you can get overwhelmed. The only thing is the food wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked it.

    Shrimp Nachos with soggy chips
    Britt. O.

Welp! I've visited this location a few times . The food is typically fast and convenient . The servers friendly and the drinks are delicious . Though they have some great highlights , I still have some not so great moments as well . Tonight I ordered the shrimp supreme nachos to go . I got home only to find that my nacho chips were soggy and uneatable . So, I picked them all away and had juicy shrimp with cheese , lettuce , sour cream and pico. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager Mike to suggest that the severs suggest that the chips are placed on the side .He honestly could care less , and mentioned that it's not required and that the customers should just order the chips or cheese on the side themselves. He also mentioned that I could take the owner up to the owner Alfonzo . In all honesty , I was just leaving a suggestion because no one wants to waste their hard earned money. I've had other unpleasant appearances but can't fully remember but I know that I'm not a fan of this establishment needless to say . I believe it's important to take time to perfect your craft in all ways and treat customers as if their voices are being heard, or at least pretend too.

The food wasn't really anything special. I had the nachos supreme with shrimp to make sure it came with everything. It was basic: queso, shredded lettuce ,pico , and the few shrimp (about 6) scattered about. The booths look bigger than they are. We felt crammed. (It was my husband and I along with our 3 small children. )The restroom needs attention too. Gross! The reason why this place got 3 stars is because our waitress was awesome despite everything. She was the hostess, our waitress, about 3 other tables other than ours, and answering the phone. There was one other lady there but we only saw her ever so often. The young girl was our waitress. She checked in us, refilled our chips and salsa abs brought out all our food herself (3 trips to the kitchen). A chile relleno was missing off my husband's order , so she asked if he wanted something else in its place. He obliged. That was cool.

I lived in the north Dallas area for 39 years and have visited the gambit of outstanding Mexican restaurants before moving to Florida and experiencing the epitome of mediocre or just plain bad. We come to Fairburn once a year at most for the Florida Renaissance Festival. This is our go-to restaurant for dinner from the day we arrive until our final evening here. I haven't had a single menu item that I've been disappointed with to-date. I've had fajitas, enchiladas, and authentic Mexican. The music on weekend evenings is loud. You need to arrive early or be prepared to wait for a table. Seating is perhaps a bit limited for how many people I've seen waiting for their seats. The 22 oz margaritas hit the spot after an 8-hour drive and check-in to the hotel next door. I can recommend the tableside guacamole for starters and the chicken poblano as a meal if you love authentic Mexican food.

Our server, Joey, really stood out. He took the time to educate us on the drinks, had a great personality, and made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. We even got into some good conversation--he mentioned he's originally from Oklahoma--which added a nice personal touch. The drinks were phenomenal. They were strong, well-balanced, and refreshing. I had the horchata, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. I also tried a classic margarita with tajín on the rim--it was strong in a good way and very refreshing. Definitely one of the highlights of the visit. The food itself was flavorful and well-seasoned. I ordered the steak and lobster with mashed potatoes. Everything tasted great, and you can tell they put care into the preparation. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is due to a couple of issues. I asked for my steak medium, but it came out well done, and there was a hair in my mashed potatoes. That said, the way the staff handled it really impressed me. They were extremely apologetic and quickly replaced my entire meal without hesitation. The second steak actually came out even better than the first. Mistakes happen, and what really matters is how a restaurant responds--and they handled it very well. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely come back.

LoL!! La Costa Tacos y Mariscos sits in the strip mall behind the BP. The location is in the back corner so make sure you're on the lookout for it as it's possible to pass it by accident... I walked in taking in the authentic cultural ambiance. The location is small, however, they made great use of the space. There are a few High Top 2 seaters towards the front and some booth style seating towards the back. As I explored the menu I was pleased to see the variety of options. There is something for any food needing mood. I decided on the #1 which is 2 Tacos with Rice and Beans. Please note, the beans are Refried Beans and not the usual Black beans I'm accustomed to being served as a side. I chose to go with the Steak Tacos and I am pleased with my decision. To note, the tacos only come with the corn shell. The steak was perfectly done and well seasoned. The tacos are meaty and very filling. The tacos alone get a 7/10 from me. They really carried the combo for me... The rice was rice. Nothing special about it, minimal seasoning but goes well mixed with the beans or added to the taco. The rice by itself gets a 3/10 from me. The refried beans were standard and used as an additive to my rice and filler to my tacos. LoL!! The salsa provided was mild and fresh. It had the authentic salsa flavoring and went great with everything on my plate. The service was pleasant and friendly, and the establishment was super clean. Overall, I would recommend La Costa Tacos y Mariscos if you are in the mood for Mexican and want it quick. I would use this as a lunch pick up option when in the area.
