Large restaurant with plenty of seating and I don't understand why it was so empty! I really enjoyed dinner here with a perfectly made marg, great chips and salsa and a tasty, tender octopus dish. if you're not feeling dinner, this could still be a great spot for a happy hour cocktail. Definitely recommend.

Fresh menu of really fresh seafood from fish, shrimp, chicken from tacos to plates and enchiladas. Fish tacos are Baja style, fried in a crispy (beer?) batter. Tacos trio of grilled fish, shredded chicken and shrimp was very flavorful. Their salsas and sauces are fresh and a delicious variety!! Service is outstanding from servers to bartenders! We sat outside and had great weather for patio seating!

On my list for ages and a birthday lunch was the perfect opportunity. I walked in and it was pretty empty so I was seated quickly. The decor was an interesting take on latin nautical chic; definitely an underwater mood. Started with chips, salsa and a poloma. I finished all of them so I suppose that's a positive rating. Next were the grilled oysters. I never thought cheese and oysters would go together but oh man. Great combo. My main dish was the octopus, grilled to perfection, tender and plated beautifully. Only draw back is the price but I do understand that seafood is expensive and what isn't expensive? I would love to return soon.

Had this bookmarked for forever and finally had a chance to swing by. Pretty quiet for a Friday night so it was easy to snag a table. Their menu is extensive and I'd love to try everything if I could. Instead we opted for the trios, one of tacos and another of empanadas. Out of the tacos, I think the fish was my favorite. The lobster is a close second though it was a lot more chopped up than I was expecting. The chicken empanada was the best, though arguably they were all fried to perfection. Even the chips and salsa were hitting just right. Only challenge of the evening was trying to get out the door. For whatever reason, it took a very long time to get our check, and even longer for our server to return with our card. I watched him serve multiple tables even carrying our card around before the hostess noticed us and went to flag him down. Service otherwise was just fine, so maybe it was just forgetfulness? The food alone is worth a return visit so I'll overlook it.

This place is stellar! We went to grab a simple seafood lunch yet were blown away with the tostada a tun, aguachiles con cameron y hacha, and the incredibly spicy yet divine salsas. The arbol chile salsa was unique to say the least and was a must have, as was the habanero salsa! I'll be making this establishment a frequent stop!

With veggies on the side, baked oyster app, fab cocktails!!

The MOST AMAZING POMPANO!!! The sweet corn tamale was also fabulous, Smothered in smokey sweet bacon flavors and shrimp - but heavy. Make it an app for the table or a side. Cocktails-yes! Great service. Sleek ambiance. I plan to go back!

Stopped by La Fisheria on the way to the Bayou Music Festival since it was conveniently located nearby. Highly recommend the octopus and the fried pompano! The flan with the candied pecans and blueberries was also pretty amazing!

Tried this spot again. We came for the ceviche and was not disappointed. If you want to avoid the crowds come on Sunday. If you want to socialize with the masses, come in on Saturday. They have a full bar and plenty of room. Wait staff was very nice, efficient and patient with us. Apps: Trio Empanadas/ Ceviche Verde Entree: Corn Tamales w/ shrimp Dessert: Churros Everything was great and I'm glad we gave them a second chance. This will be our go-to for ceviche. Enter freely, they've been approved.

My husband and I went for lunch today, we were famished! The place is right in Downtown, next to a parking lot. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and inviting, nice ambiance music, the staff is very helpful and friendly. As we sat down we were given some crunchy nachos, with an amazing tomatillo sauce. We started with tostadas de atun, which were bite sized nachos filled with tuna, and avocado, the tuna felt fresh and well seasoned, the nacho itself was stale. My husband ordered the grilled octopus, this was a beautiful dish, impressive plating, the octopus was so tender, fresh, flavorful, and that guajillo sauce was to die for! Even the yuca was delicious! Recommend 100%. I had the ribeye tacos, this was a lunch option, which was two tacos, served with rice and beans on the side and guac. The beans were good, the rice nothing special, guac was fresh, and the tacos...well the tortilla was very soft big and really good, but the ribeye itself lacked salt, and came all chopped up in this tiny pieces, I didn't feel like I was eating ribeye at all, also being a Mexican restaurant it lacked plancha. Overall the experience was not bad, I would come back for that octopus and maybe try another seafood dish.

Overall just okkkk... This place is super close to my house so was excited to give it a try. The interior is super bright and spacious. A little empty for a Thursday night downtown... Service was friendly but the food came out soooo slowwww.... We were there for over two hours and only ordered HRW menu and an app/ceviche. Hoping this was a fluke... Food was good enough but a bit pricey. I had queso fundido which was ok. The ceviche laking a little flavor but the seafood was of good quality. My favorite thing was the chips! Those were the best tortilla chips. Overall I may give another shot if I can catch a happy hour deal or come by at lunch.

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!
