After she left, the gym just didn't feel the same,management declined, cleanliness became an issue, and the overall experience no longer felt like the private training environment it was meant to be (issues with maintenance, random people coming in, lack of AC, and basic supplies missing at times). Since Kelly returned, rebranded the gym, and put her own vision into the space, the difference has been huge. This review is lengthy due to my frustrating experience at this gym over three or four months. The gym is clean, and the owner is nice, but my issues were with a trainer named Tim (Coach Tip). I signed up for four sessions every two weeks, including online training on off days and a meal plan that I didn't receive until our last week. Many sessions felt unprofessional, with conversations straying from training. Tim frequently changed our agreed schedule from mornings to evenings, which I couldn't accommodate this and we almost switched trainers. He often arrived late--sometimes making me wait 45 minutes to an hour. Recently, he canceled sessions due to "lifestyle changes" and being out of town but continued to request payment for sessions we hadn't completed. When I mentioned that we hadn't finished three sessions, he sent a demeaning message saying he was getting the "short end of the stick" and claimed I was getting a "better deal" payment wise. He added that it wasn't his responsibility for missed sessions, even though he had canceled them. After expressing my concerns about a refund or completing the sessions, he sarcastically responded, "There will be no refund; I did my job." I asked if showing up late and canceling counted as doing his job, especially since I never received the meal plans I paid for. Despite agreeing to provide the remaining sessions, it's been a week without any follow-up. I'm left feeling frustrated and hurt, having wasted my time and money. My wife and I worked with Kris witherspoon. Other than the current problem we're dealing with in regards to him stealing our money. He canceled on us several times. Would constantly change our time which was difficult to deal with because we both have a set schedule. If he didn't do that then he was also working with several clients at once. You shouldn't have to pay full price for personal training when it's really group training that's happening. His attention was rarely fully on us. He took the time to understand what my goals are, what lifestyle and diet looked like and tailored my training program around that with a few tweaks. It's a great gym; love it, but certain areas need more attention. The mats definitely need some attention. It would be awesome to do my stretching without smelling like feet or having to dust myself off afterwards. Why even have a designated area if I could stretch on the floor & feel just as dirty afterwards. Basic gym etiquette also seems to be lacking. For what is meant to be a high-end facility you would think weights would be re-racked and equipment would be put back where it belongs, or at the very least wiped down after use. Most gyms have wipes or spray & towels readily available to wipe down areas, equipment & mats after use; I do see them here, but I usually have to hunt them down & hope someone doesn't jump on the equipment or area I just used before i got a chance to wipe it down. Other than that, awesome gym! It has a great vibe and never super crowded. I can actually get in & get my work done, and not spend all my time waiting on equipment or areas to open up; love that! read more

I used to be a gym rat when I was in college. I even ran a few half marathons (12.1 miles) and one full marathon (26.2 miles). Unfortunately, life caught up with me. In terms of the gym, it's very clean and spacious. They have equipment that most commercial gyms don't have. You will see other trainers training their clients which pushes you even more. So I signed up last week on a Saturday with a trainer Kris Witherspoon I got charged $245 to start my training I was super excited my first day was supposed to be on Nov 14 had the day and times set up he had to cancel cause he had class I was ok with going in the next day cause I was signing up for 3 days a week anyways the next day came he asked if I can come later then the time I had given because he needed to leave 10 min early during training session who does this when u sign up for a professional trainer and pay and be told the days your gonna start but then u get this with that said I was kinda annoyed so I cancel with him I was asking for a refund I had to wait a whole week for it and when he refunded me he made this comment for me to be more responsible with my money he's very rude and will cancel on his clients I'm glad this happened cause I would of invested in money just to waste on him not doing his job correctly good luck to his future clients I do not recommend him he's not very professional at all read more

Trained with Chris Shah for 3 months to recover from a severe spine injury. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me, and did his best to help me regain strength after not being able to walk for a year. I don't see any reviews for my personal MMA trainer, and former Bellator fighter Johnny "The Tattooed Terror" Cisneros. I been training on and off with Johnny for a couple years, and he's clearly the only MMA trainer or school that has taken any personal interest in my development as a fighter and learning what works in actual combat. I literally am known as a student at nearly every kickboxing gym in the Inland Empire but none ever told me what I was doing wrong or how to get any better. But, that's also the difference between personal training and going to the normal mma "hot dog" school designed to make the most money at once by training every kid at the same time. I'm an adult I want to be good at my craft, be able to believe that I will destroy you, and more importantly feel comfortable in any scenario. Johnny is incredible but also the facility here is top notch and you should check out allegiance. It's run by true professionals and there's even meal prep as well as massage services at the facility. Plus, it's also in the same parking lot as CheckMat if you want to expand your skills in BJJ as well. There are many trainers here and you should see if any of them work for you.
