Maria was quite possibly the best server I've ever had. We swapped stories about international hiking adventures and talked dogs and puppies, complete with a photo show. The food exceeded our expectations. Great Calzone, Pasta Fagiole, Melanzane. Pollo la Forchetta was unforgettable. First time here. Very impressed and will return! Staff was super friendly and the food was amazing! A hidden gem. This will be my new go-to spot. I don't order out much, but when I do this will be the place. The antipasto for 2 was one of the best I have had. Premium ingredients and ample portion. Calabrese Caesar Salad is awesome! The pizza is very good, not greasy. Their sandwiches are great. The prices are ok, on par with everyone else. The service is questionable. Counter help takes care of internal strife before a walk in customer. They take care of phone calls instead of customers who are at the tables. They have to realize the people who come to the store are the most important. Phone calls can be put on hold, internal strife can be addressed later behind the scenes. read more

Very good pizza. We got it delivered in under an hour, even though the driver got lost. Pizza was hot and tasty, so were the wings that we ordered. I have to admit I had high expectations for this place after reading some of the reviews. Unfortunately my experience wasn't as great as others have had. Now I'm not saying the food was bad - just meh - it's not bad but it's also not great and in my book doesn't warrant and thing above 3 stars. The service was good and attentive . But the food was somewhat bland and tasteless. I also don't see the need to put on so much processed mozzarella on everything - this is probably my biggest peeve. It's not that I don't like cheese, I just don't like so much of it. Particularly when is the lower grade and process stuff. In the end this is a middle of the road kind of place for me. I may eat here again if it's the only option but would likely try other options. read more

This place makes a good sandwich. Lots of choices and not at all an ordinary selection. The sandwiches that come on toasted garlic bread are the best. I've also had their soups and pizza, both are consistently good. I've never tried an entree but sometime I will - with a nice bottle of red wine. (It's BYOB) Update from review above - we go here a few times a year. The last time we went, the waiter was slow and surly - definitely favoring people he already knew. Located in an unassuming strip mall just off of Route 15 is this gem of a restaurant . A very attentive and friendly staff was always available to answer any questions regarding the menu selections. Starting with a daily special the corn chowder with baby scallops was lite, creamy and delicious. Another special consisting of baby scallops sautéed with spinach and served over pasta in a lemon butter sauce was exceptionally good. All of our meals were fresh, served hot and quite ample. I don't give high ratings easily but I have been to this restaurant twice now and it has quickly become my new favorite pizza joint and casual Italian food spot. Hands. Down.!! Their gourmet sandwiches are on point and they have *the best* pasta fagole I have ever had in my 38 years of life! Insulted, teased and poor usage of humor. We had high hopes for this place as we knew Anna Marie's when it was opened. Our waiter in poor attempts to to be funny lifted my friends phone and then.... Catch this played keep away with my wife's soup. Not once, not twice, not three times. Four times before my wife had to tell him to stop his ill behavior. It was only after he noticeably saw our displeasure that he stopped acting this way. On top of this the underside of my wife's pizza was burnt. Came here because I didn't like how the buffet look next door. From the outside it does look small but once you get in it is a decent-size place. I had the Bentley GT sandwich which was right on the money. It was a vegetarian sandwich and the cheese was fresh and mushroom was at the peak of taste. I decided to try this place again. My last review happened to be around when the restaurant was apparently still run by previous owners. It was terrible. The new owner personally called and offered everything and anything to make up for the disaster he was left with. HOWEVER, I ordered the chicken francaise and pasta with garlic bread! I have only recently stopped in a here a couple of times at lunchtime so my review might be somewhat limited. What I can say is the pizza is very good. It's nice and fresh and crust is not too thick. This is our go to order in Italian/pizza. Delivery is always quick and they know how to navigate our apartment complex. Their pizza is good. I really like their tomato sauce. We usually get mushroom or grandpa pie. I have also got a white pizza with broccoli, which was also tasty. I love their garlic knots as well! They have a ton of pasta dishes to choose from and I've also loved them all. I really enjoy their chicken franchisee and chicken Marsala. During the summer months, I always order their sandwiches, wraps, and salads. They have creative choices for their sandwiches. My absolute favorite salad is the alfanso. It's a great size and has these marinated mushrooms on it that are mouth watering! I wish I could purchase a side order of those mushrooms! Staff is always friendly every time I call. Excellent. Have had their pizza, sandwiches, wraps, and entrees and all have been very good. They deliver to almost anywhere which is nice considering most places in this area do not deliver. Delivery sometimes takes pretty long but food has always been hot and fresh so no big deal. read more
