I've been wanting to try this pizzeria for a while and today, being in Rockaway, I had the chance. It's in a small group of stores about 10 minutes from the Rockaway Mall. At lunch, there were a few pies to choose slices from. I ordered a slice with sausage that was delicious. Nice, crisp crust with very good sausage. Had two slices for lunch. Small space with just a very few tables; a television in the wall tuned to a futbol game. Friendly service. My slices were served hot, as I asked and as I like. Now ... not enough cheese for my taste. Good flavor, fairly thin crust. Domenico's is in the middle of an interesting residential neighborhood made up of a maze of curved streets. Nice area, good pizza. Needs improvement, for me. I think it has potential to get better. Needs more cheese, and it'd be better cooked a minute or two less: that's how I like my pizza. read more

We had our event catered by Domenico's and the food was out of this world! They worked with us every step of the way and were extremely patient with all our questions especially accommodating folks that we had coming that were gluten free and vegan. I've really liked the pizza from Domenico's for years. But I went in there tonight and witnessed one of their employees knuckle deep up his nose from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. He was sitting right across from the counter, fully in view of all the other employees but nobody said anything to him. He just sat there, completely oblivious to how disgusting he was. And after I got into my car, I saw this guy hi-five and shake hands with one of his colleagues, spreading his snot even further. Garlic knot sliders are so good! So far we've had the chicken parm, meatball parm, eggplant parm and chicken vodka-all tasty! The Caesar salad has been very fresh every time we've ordered it, and full of good croutons. They also give a good amount of dressing, not a tiny little cup. Domenico's has been around for years. I have been coming here since I was in middle school when I walked home from Copeland. They used to have really good pizza. I do not suggest stopping here anymore! Last night my boyfriend and I got 4 slices. 3/4 were burnt. It was $13 together with no drinks. It is super expensive. It is convenient for people who live in WML to eat here but I suggest to go to anthonys pizza rustic or mns 2. Also when we were there, My boyfriend politely asked to use the restroom and got ignored when asked. I then asked for him and they said yes. He was In the bathroom for about ten minutes and the owner with a nasty attitude asked him "What the hell were you doing in there man" Words got exchanged from there. When leaving this crap hole one of the workers threatened to fight him. That will be the last time buying from there. read more

This is our weekly go to! Never disappoints! Pizza is delicious, my favorite topping is bacon and they always have good crispy bacon. The chicken fingers are always cooked to perfection. Pre-ordering the garlic knot sandwiches is the way to go as well. Absolutely scrumptious! We like there meatball parm, eggplant parm, salads, cold sandwiches, and every topping we've tried. The people are super nice and they have worked so hard to pull off great service in a pandemic. This is our favorite pizza place in town. Always great, friendly service and delicious food. However, today I was really disappointed to see one of the employees wearing a face mask below his nose. Then his cell phone rang and he pulled the mask off, resting below his chin, to talk on the phone at the front counter right by the pizzas. As hard as it is to imagine there is nothing further to the story. Their pizza at best is mediocre and their customer service is appalling! I'm iffy about Domenico's. it's close to my house and they deliver, which is nice. the sandwiches I've gotten are decently sized, however I ordered an eggplant sandwich with arugula, roasted red pepper, and mozzarella cheese. the eggplant was fine, but they topped it with shredded lettuce, not arugula. if they were out, that's okay with me, but since it was a hot sandwich, the lettuce was wilted and I would have much preferred to eat it without that. oh well. that was just one time. their pizza is standard. the quality of the ingredients are fine. no complaints. the dough is a little thick and chewy for my taste, which is why I'm giving it three stars, but that's my opinion. I typically like a thinner, crispy crust. I suppose I need to specify to cook the crust a little longer when I order, and I may get something that fits my taste a little more. people working the counter are fine. pretty standard pizza guys. the prices are fair. it's not a bad place to order from if you live in WML or the surrounding areas. read more

Who would've thought that a small lake community, takeout-only pizza place would be any good? We get food from Domenico's every other week on average and they never disappoint. The pizza is out of this world (plain, veggie, meat lovers and buffalo chicken are all never-fail options) as are their salads, subs and dinners. We've had lots of different family and friends over when we've ordered Domenico's and everyone is consistently blown away. We moved here from Bergen County where we went to lots of upscale gourmet pizza places and Domenico's is still better. Don't get me wrong, Morris County has other awesome pizza places, too (Forte in Randolph and Anthony Francos in Parsippany are also top-notch and are sit-down) but if you are craving pizza in the Rockaway area for pickup/delivery I can't say enough good things about this place. Tried to place an order today & while explaining what i didnt want on my sandwich i was cut off by a rude man taking my order with "just tell me what you want" after letting him know he messed my train of thought up he continued to be rude when i started from the top with "no tell me what you want not what you dont" i think you guys should focus on doing your job taking orders and making food rather than arguing with a paying customer on the phone about an order. Will never order food here again!! Ordered for delivery not only did they mess up the order but they didn't even give me it all...which is understandable. Mistakes happen on a busy day. Easily fixed for most however the lady on the phone when I called back gave me attitude saying it wasn't her problem and if I'm lucky they'll think about getting it to me 10 pm tomorrow. So my boyfriend called back and asked to speak to the manager who told him he knows the story and he would not deliver the missing food because he doesn't care about it, he's too busy. But what Domenico's is terrible at is treating customers like they matter. So don't even bother ordering from Domenico's during peak hours on a Friday or Saturday. Your delivery will be very late - double the 45 minutes expressed on the phone, with no apology, just victimhood... "we are very busy it will be there soon." Or part of your pick up order will be done and waiting while other parts haven't even been put in the oven when you arrive, no apology, no offer to reduce the price, just "it'll be ready very quick... 10 minutes." Great, thank you, half my food will be cold while I wait for you to make up for not reading the order ticket. "We are very busy." This place used to be great after they took over Mary and John's. They used to have a nice crust and a firm slice with a little flop on it. They didn't use cheap cheese and there was little to no grease on it. And their fat sandwiches were phenomenal. Since the reopen their slices became thin and greasy and their prices went up. Its still a decent pie if you ask for it well done. But its greasy. They are still quick and great guys but the quality has definitely gone down read more
