Another new place tonight. Got delivery from grub hub. Got a Spinach & Cheese Roll which was filled with spinach and cheese made fresh. Some pepperoni chips which was pretty interesting. Beef, Chicken & Bacon Empanada which to me was a plain chicken empanada but was still good. Got a Vegetable Stromboli as well. Was packed with vegetables. Stromboli was a bit soggy but still was pretty good. Would definitely go again. read more

Went there on a Thursday afternoon ,Just missed the lunch specials by a couple of minutes. Food and service are and were always excellent and continue to be. Good pizzeria Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly, the price is fair. Plenty of seatings. My 5 year old son really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza and devoured the whole slice so I didn't get to try it. But it looked good. The eggplant parm sub was quite good. The bread was fresh and crunchy and it was nice and hot. They also give you a good amount of eggplant. For $9.50 it's a steal. Definitely should consider this place if you need a quick bite. They have many other Italian dishes on the menu too which we need to try. read more

Have been meaning to try here for a while now as we have friends who come often. Spur of the moment dinner on a Saturday at 6:30. Seated quickly, but server did not come over until I closed my menu. I ordered chicken parm and dear husband had chicken Marsala. Both come with bread (regular or garlic) and a soup or salad, plus pasta. Everything tasted delicious. We both took our leftovers home and ate them for lunch the next day and they still tasted good. The highlight of the meal was our drink's being served in those tall classic red coke cups. Sweet! The whole meal was reasonably priced and tasted good. We will be back soon!! read more

Since we are still in our protective little bubble considering the Covid madness we decided to order delivery for New Years Eve, and Delizia hit the spot for our family. The delivery was much faster than I expected, and the delivery man even called from the driveway to confirm he was there. We opted for contactless drop off with the tip paid online, and everything was perfect. We are new fans of the Chicken Park pizza. Yum! And don't forget the garlic knots... they are some of the best I have ever had. Another bonus is ordering via the Slice app. They claim they save businesses money (over door dash etc) and include coupons and discounts when they are available. read more

A hidden, old-school gem! Our family dined here early on a Saturday evening and it reminded me of dining with my family growing up. The restaurant is half take-out pizza place and half sit down (casual, not too fancy) restaurant. We ordered the Chicken Marsala and Chicken Francese and this was hands down the best Francese I've had in the area. The right amount of lemon flavor and the chicken was perfectly tender. The Marsala was great as well. Really spot on and would recommend it hands down. Unfortunately did not try the pizza yet, but definitely plan to! read more

PROS: This place was a little better than the average sit down pizza parlor. They had nice decor, good quality food, over a hundred menu items to choose from (and the kitchen still made your food fast), and prices that are unbelievably affordable. The wait staff was very nice and the parking lot was huge. They have both a sit down place to eat and a regular grab and go pizza parlor CONS: The only con I was able to pull out was the bathroom size. That place can support 50+ people and the mens bathroom could only support 2 people which can cause a line up OVERALL: Despite the bathroom situation which is kind of out of their control this place earned 5 stars because of the quality food, good prices, and speed of our orders. After passing by this place for the past several months and sometimes parking in front of it, next to T-Mobile, I decided to give them a try. I read the reviews and some were not that good, but old. I felt they needed a recent review. Upon entering I noticed a large selection of pizza pies to choose from. I wanted to try several different varieties. I chose the plain, rigatoni vodka and drunken grandma square pizza slices. The plain slice was very good. Cheese did not get hard when let sit a few minutes and was very chewy. The sauce was good and not salty either. The drunken grandma was next. The square cut cheese on top did kind of get hard but not to that sense but more of when you bite the piece it comes with you. I've had better. The vodka sauce was good. The last pie I ate was the rigatoni vodka. Same vodka sauce as the drunken grandma. It tasted very good. Same cheese as plain pie, so no complaints here. They have a large selection of bottled drinks as well as the usual fountain drinks. I ate in but ordered from the counter. They have outside dining and table service. Two negatives I noticed. Two of the self seating tables still had not been cleared of past customers. Also, if you order and pay for your slices and are sitting in the dining room, they will not bring the slices to you. Instead they will yell "slices." Most other places I've been to, will bring them too you. Bottom line, I will be back and I do recommend them due to their vast selection of specialty pizzas. Sometimes you want a meal but not really a meal and would rather have a pizza slice. I did not mark them off for point on the negatives because I do know that finding help is very hard. The one star reduction was because of the drunken grandma pie. Also to note, nobody was nasty or rude as other reviews have said. read more

So the title reads can you recommend this restaurant? With a single word I'd simply say NO! I ordered a chicken Marsala what a mistake! First off, it was so salty I could hardly eat it. Not only that but the food totally lacked taste. If you order chicken Marsala in 10 restaurants, every place will make it differently. 10 restaurants and 10 recipes for the same dish. When you order something there should be no excuse for an abundance of sodium! What are they trying to hide with all that salt! I owned a restaurant and my chefs would always be "stingy" with their salt preparation. Overall, unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant! read more

We were hungry, in the area, and on a tight schedule so we decide to give this pizza shop a try. Normally, I go for a plain slice to get a feel for the basic offering. But I spotted a new-to-me square pie with raised edge crust and slices of fresh mozzarella on top with what looked like a dollop of pesto splashed across them. The friendly counter man said it was a Grandpa pie - like I said, new to me. The verdict was ... It was excellent. Lots of flavor. Wonderful sauce and, yes, it was fresh cheese topped wit pesto. So good that I went back for a second slice. Only 4 stars because the basic slice (had to try it) was pretty good but not as good as the Grandpa pizza. Lots of parking. Huge dining room. Extensive menu worth exploring and next to a wine shop for BYOB. Recommended. Update: for Oscar night, we grabbed a whole Grandpa pie for the party and it was fantastic. Everyone raved. They really need to work on the phone orders as well as manners behind the counter. We would of left after waiting and waiting for the order to be ready but realized we had paid upon placing our order. Plenty other pizza places in the area to go instead of their nonsense. Solid 3.5 star pizza spot. I can't speak for the takeout pies but their twice in the oven by the slice pizza comes out hot and crispy. A little salt and garlic powder and their slices are about as good as a decent midtown by the slice pizza spot in Manhattan. This has always been our "go to" place for pizzeria/basic Italian fare. I felt very confident to take an out of towner for a great lunch, despite the usual slow service. So disappointed. Arrive before the lunch rush; one other table of (2) occupied and took forever for server to come over. One guest got the Brooklyn Wrap, "okay", one guest got the Portabella Mushroom Wrap, "eh", and I went for my favorite: Eggplant Parmesan lunch special (over penne). Eggplant shaved so thin there was no eggplant TASTE or texture; basically a high pile of fried breading in sauce, covered in a layer of melted cheese. I went to the counter to get a piece of pizza. A chicken Parmesan slice, equally disappointed. Itty, bitty pieces of breaded chicken, lacking sauce and taste. The crust was good. My real disappointment was the server. Never asked how everything was. Upon getting check, waitress asked if I wanted a TO GO box, noticing my untouched plate. I said No, thank you. However, I expected the server to acknowledge if anything was wrong. Usually if a customer doesn't touch the food, there's a reason, usually not up to recipe standard. The two stars is for the average "okay" and "eh" dishes. I will not be back. $55.00 (included 20% tip) for slow service and below par food for 3 people. read more

Walk-in traffic is the norm and their take out is top notch; usually busy so best to order with a couple hours notice. Finally gave their new delivery option a try. Ordered through Slice app and they were here under 30 mins!! Everything was hot and freshly made. And as usual with them is was all so delicious!! Easily the best pizza i have ever had and it was even better using the Slice app. I got so many customized items that the chef followed perfectly. Terrible service My bf I went there for dinner. We sat there for 10 mins and no one came to offer us menus, water or even say hi.
