I travelled to this location twice during my time in Orlando. My five star experience plummeted to three stars as the tone and experience did not sustain. So, I rank them at a strong 4 stars. Nonetheless, this place was a blessing from the burgers, fries, and pizza at Disney and Orlando. First, OMG, Disney offers a standard menu of very expensive, redundant, undesirable meals. Pizza, burgers--burgers, pizza is all they do. Also, I ventured to try their pasta at Disney Springs and it was awful. Please all, I strongly encourage everyone to scope-out eateries outside of Disney. This location is not the best, but it certainly is exceptional for all that is being extended. We found this place by chance and it was the best luck we had all trip. Freshly prepared food, excellent service. I had the Patacon..I'd never even heard of it before and it was absolutely delicious. I usually don't have to give bad reviews. I came from Baltimore with my family and decided to eat breakfast here. Eventhou the waitress was attentive she forgot to specify all of the extra billing in our order. We paid 40 bucks for two hot dogs (one is a kid meal) one coffee, two juices and a breakfast with eggs,meat and toast!!! From the food to service this place is amazing!!! Me personally being a chef my goal when I am cooking is to bring you back to place where food was love and that's what this place does for me. You can just taste the heart and dedication in the food, the person behind the dish really loves what they do! It's an all woman staff which I think is awesome and they're probably mom's with kids of there own and I feel it's translates to the food like when your mom cooked for you as a kid and you just felt loved. Not to be dramatic but that's how this place makes me feel. Now to the food... I usually get the cachapas con carne frita and I mean wow it's one of the greatest things I've ever eaten, the fried beef is just seasoned so perfectly and the sweetness from the cachapas just balance everything out. I ordered my food and they say yes to my request and when u get your order they don't add anything you requested for you sandwich. even though they said ok, it wasn't as I requested my meal. Hi everyone!,...Let me explain my own experience today at "La Fuente Restaurant" - Goldenrod Road Orlando. I've been living in Orlando for almost 20 years. In "the old days" we used to go, a lot, to some Venezuelans Food Trucks located at O.B.T,....La Locura, El Saman, Tega-BIte,..etc, etc, etc. They were really, really good. We all know that since 5 to 6 years ago, the Venezuelan Restaurants in the City Beautiful of Orlando have increased like crazy. Which is good for the community and especially for the Venezuelan people, so we like to try and explore different tastes and food of our country, so we went today to "La Fuente Restaurant" in Goldenrod Road. The lady at the cashier was really nice,...most of the time she has a smile in her face, which is a very good customer service plus. I ordered 2 "Arepas" like the "old days",.....con todo y doble queso. Here comes the point that I would like to address,....The price marked was $7.49 which is a good price now a days, and I know before hand, that I you order it with extra -sides, obviously the price is gonna be more,....that's totally understandable. Ok, I ordered 2 arepas with Mechada, Queso Amarillo, Queso Guayanes, Jamón y Queso Rayado. To be honest,....they were good and I knew before hand, that the price of each one, was gonna be around $9.00 to $10.00,.....I have no problem with that,.....The issue here is that they charged me for each one $9.49 ($2.00 more for the extra Guayanes Cheese} which is ok,.......but my goodness!,.....besides that, they also charged me $3.50 for half of a slice of Ham. It means that, as I ordered 2 Arepas, and they charged me $7.00 for just one slice of Ham,.....can you believe that!,.....$ 7.00 for just one slice of ham. I felt myself like "La Viveza Criolla" was in action. The food was just okay and small portions for what they charge, but the service was terrible from the beginning, I walked in sat down at the table and the no one came to the table, there was like 3 servers in place and no came to my table, then the person/server that was by the register asked to get the menu from her, she couldn't walk out to to give it me, so I have to stand up from the table and get the menu, thereafter no one came to the table to get my order or ask me to get a drink, so after 5minutes the same lazy girl told me from the counter once you are ready to order just tell me, also when I asked her for the bill she said to you can come here at the register to pay the your check.
