Michael is amazing. His goalkeeping training has really helped improve my son's game within U10. Highly recommend.

In our case, we needed numbers on baseball jerseys for our local little league, Ladera, and we needed them FAST as the supplier's product was delayed; there was NO time to waste to meet the deadline for games. We also needed to ensure that using another vendor made good financial sense as we had a lot of product and was foregoing having the jersey supplier do the work that was included in their pricing. Carlos explained that, since he made, not purchased the numbers, Sami's could be very competitive. They are kind, budget-friendly, professional, and provide wonderful service! What we love most about Sami's Sports (Carlos and Alida) is that they are a COMMUNITY-BASED BUSINESS -- in the same community as Ladera Little League! In these unuque days and times, this is a very important amenity. We have established and are building a trusting and respectful "relationship" with the owners who, like Ladera Little League, are invested in and care about the people in our community. Our league plans to continue to use Sami's Sports moving forward as it is mutually beneficial and rewarding. Go, Carlos and Alida! Go, Sami's Sports !!

He wants to be challenged and pushed to try to be the best he can be. For the next season, we just hope he is more aligned with players and families that are more engaged in the game.

But the second you actually spend time here, especially on a weekend, it turns into something completely different and honestly pretty disturbing. The park gets insanely packed, which already makes everything feel chaotic, but the real issue is the condition of the facilities. The restrooms are beyond unacceptable. Not just "oh it's a public park" bad, but genuinely shocking, like something that makes you stop and question how this is even allowed to stay open. I'm talking about conditions that feel neglected to the point where it's uncomfortable just being nearby, let alone going inside. I went into two different restrooms thinking maybe one was just unlucky... nope, both were equally disgusting. I'll be posting pictures because it honestly doesn't feel believable otherwise. It gives off this weird in-between vibe where you don't know if you're at a city park or some kind of neglected shelter space, and that's not something anyone should feel at a place like this. What really made it worse for me is walking into the recreation building with the basketball and volleyball courts and realizing it's the same story inside. Worn down, under-maintained, and just lacking any sense that the city is actually investing in it. Meanwhile, you literally have the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust right there being renovated and cared for, which just makes the contrast even more frustrating. How is that level of attention happening on one side, but the actual park people use daily feels ignored? It's honestly disappointing because this place has so much potential. The location alone should make it one of the best parks in LA, but instead it feels like it's being left behind. I hate to say it, but I probably won't be coming back. There are just too many other parks where you don't have to deal with this level of neglect.

We have been impressed with every aspect of the organization with the most important being the coaches. Coach Olivia is a natural with this age group. Even though it is a parent and me class she quickly recognized our son did not need us to be in the activities with him. She guided us how to support while giving him the level of independence he was ready for. It's only been six weeks and we can already see so much growth in his balance, coordination, and ball control. Even more important ... he has a smile on his face the entire time! The ratio of coach to child for our age group is almost 1:1. I also witnessed Coach Xavier helping to bring a child into the class who was having a hard time. No one asked him to but he took it upon himself and found ways to get the child onto the field, running, and kicking a ball. It was pretty impressive. The social media posts explaining the philosophy and how to support your child are very helpful. Staff are all responsive, kind, and professional. I highly recommend this quality organization to get your child started in sports with care and love.
