Not much seating inside but in summer there is typically a nice outside space. Situated in quaint downtown Andover, the food is delicious and if you are curious, they are the same family of Arlington and Winchester fame, with deli's of the same name. I no longer in live near Andover, but have had to come out a few times recently and discovered D'Agostino's a few months ago. I went there again today and was once again blown away by everything about their subs. Delicious, incredibly fresh ingredients (the bread was soft and delicious, the chicken salad tasted like it was mixed today), lots of choices - they are just fabulous. On top of it, the workers there were busting their tails to deal with a lunch crowd. Just a great place that I look forward to visiting again when I'm next out here. read more

A pleasant deli in the middle of a nice town. Everything is kept clean, big windows let the daylight in. The staff went out of their way to be friendly despite obviously prepping for their lunch rush, I respect that. The sandwich (Italian) was exactly what I wanted. Meat, cheese and pickled onion & pepper relish on a soft roll. Perfect balance of everything, great for lunch and it only took a few minutes. My sub was lacking in my meat department and had an abundance of pickles (I love pickles so I didn't mind so much) but this was by far the skinniest Italian sub I have ever had. I have been a big fan of D'Agostino's since they opened a few years ago. I have not been going out much lately because of the virus but I had a serious need for some Italian food so I went to my favorite deli. They did not disappoint. The staff is friendly and helpful as ever even though I hadn't been there in a few months they recognized me and knew what I like. The store if very clean and not a worry for the virus. The food is excellent and the service top notch. I had a serious Jones for prosciutto and their Parma sub was perfect. Lots to choose from. All really good. I am glad they have survived these hard times. Definitely the best deli in the area. Worth a trip and worth supporting. I will be back many times. read more

This may have been the greatest tuna salad sandwich I've ever eaten. Bread was incredibly fresh, tuna salad was incredibly fresh, with a good mix of celery, the lettuce tomato and onion on it was freshly chopped. I know, it's a tuna salad sandwich, so why I get so excited, but seriously it was spectacular. The coleslaw was damn good too. Good value also And the service was terrific. D'Agostino's in Andover I'm sorry to say is nothing compared to the D'Agostino's in Winchester the Italian sub is not filled at all with pickles tomatoes onions in hots anywhere near what they do in Winchester. Picked up a couple sandwiches here a few weeks ago . I'm not from this area but have been working in Andover lately. I ordered the Italian and the Sicilian, both sandwiches were very good each had different types of Italian cold cuts in them . The bread was good, it was fresh and held the sandwich together well . My only issue was I asked for everything on it including hot peppers and pickles and I guess the use like a relish style hot pepper mix with-the veggies in it and it was good but it made the top of the sandwich soggy . I guess I wasn't expecting that but it was good. Over all my experience was good, next time I'll ask them to go easy on the hot pepper veggie mix . read more

the smallest italian sub ever.the d'agostinos in andover mass was a total of 2 and a half pieces of meat 1 and a half pieces of cheese. i didn't take a picture because it was too small. i measured the meat with a tape measure. the top and bottom bread braided roll was 2 and a quarter in inches.the meat stacked was only 5 sixteenths lol..a gas station pre made sub is 6 times fatter...andover cheap with meat read more

Cool little corner spot on main st in andover. The people there are very nice, seating area is small just a few tables. They have a huge selection of cold cuts, boars head! I love the service here, and the location is great, and I'm really rooting for it to succeed, but it's hard to have a great sub/sandwich with mediocre bread. The fillings (meats, pickles, etc) are all very nice and fresh, but the bread is disappointing. Oddly enough, we were at a party this weekend and two other people started talking about Dags and brought up the same issue. Get new bread, Dags! We'll be so loyal! read more
