Very pretty in here. We can right when they opened up.

This spot is such a lovely little treat in Altamont NY. The atmosphere is really nice. You can tell the owners put care and thought into the design of the place. They also have a fun $5 marg for happy hour on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. My fiancée and I LOVE their Puposa's (if you don't know what these are look them up and try them!!!). The complimentary chips and salsa were great too. Will certainly be coming back often.

Chile relleno with an amazing cheese pull! It was really delicious. Different sauce than the enchilada appropriately so.

New place in our area. Good food and drinks. Lighting could be lower but good food and we are from LA so we know good Mexican food.

It was getting late a few weeks ago and we decided to give Tequila Jalisco a try. We arrived and…read morewere seated pretty quickly since it was towards the tail end of the dinner rush. It was a mostly relaxed atmosphere when we got there but they were playing a bunch of distracting music videos. We ordered a couple of drinks, two margaritas: one mango one passion fruit. But we tried each other's drinks and to be honest we couldn't tell the difference between the two since they tasted identical. Our waitress, who was nice and did a good job, brought over some chips and salsa, which was pretty good and we ordered the more deluxe version of their guacamole. Unfortunately, we noticed the consistency of the guacamole tasted like it was prepackaged since it had that prepackaged consistency. A bit disappointing because it was 10 dollars or so. We ordered an enchilada, shrimp tacos, and I ordered the Jalisco feast. The enchilada was alright but sort of bland. The shrimp tacos came with beans and the Jalisco feast came with rice and beans. The beans were a bit salty but I didn't mind to much cause I prefer more salt than not. The shrimp tacos had plain mayo on them which was a bit odd as we both thought Chipotle mayo or something similar would have been better. The Jalisco feast was alright but half the meat was kind of dry and the steak was cut so thin, I've seen thicker pieces of cheese. The shrimp was the best part of the Jalisco feast. The slasa was hot but decent and the Pico de gallo was alright. I have to say I wasn't too impressed with this place, especially for the price. There's not too many Mexican restaurants in the immediate area so if you're really craving it, it might satisfy your craving but elsewise I wasn't the biggest fan. I struggle with the rating to give this place. I really don't care for a 5 star ratings system because I would rate this place between a 5 out of 10, which would be a 2.5 out of 5. But since I can't select 2.5 I rounded up to a 3. It wasn't bad food and the service was alright but the food wasn't anything special, generally middle of the road in terms of quality.

We couldn't decide from the awesome choices but I finally decided on Carne Al carbon tacos and beef nachos and my husband got the chicken fajita quesadilla. OMG we haven't eaten here since we first started dating in 2021 and it was mid. This time it was absolutely amazing. So amazing that everything looked so good and we forgot to take a picture. But trust me when I say every flavor was on point. We argued about who's driving home so the other can sleep. Thank you for an amazing date night filled with good food, good vibes, great service and amazing food.

Upon arrival you'll receive complimentary chips and salsa. It was fresh as the chips were warm and I could taste the fresh ingredients in the salsa. We ordered the carne asada and the Baja tacos (and the enchiladas verdes to go based on hot good the food was). The carne asada was fantastic, and it came with rice, beans, and tortillas. The Baja tacos were delicious and came with a super spicy sauce (they did have a lot of onions which was my only drawback). We ended the night with a special strawberry tres leches for Valentine's Day. It's not something I would have typically ordered but I do love tres leches and this did not disappoint - it was amazing. All in all excellent food you'll be glad you came for the food! A few other notes- the inside of the restaurant is pretty and draws on what I've seen in other Mexican restaurants. Staff were so friendly and had the perfect balance of checking in with us to letting us eat our meal. There is a small bar area that is separate from the dining area. Street parking only but there seemed to be plenty of spots. However, I would try to park as close as possible to the restaurant as the neighborhood itself didn't seem like the greatest. We had no issues during our experience but just something to consider. Overall I really liked this place and will definitely return!

We brought the tacos over to The Other One brewery next door (which they allow) and had a fantastic date night. However the house made tortillas and other bread goods are so soft and flavorful. We'll be back.

We all really enjoyed our meals. Most of us ordered the three taco combo (any three tacos on the menu) and a side of rice and beans! While the tacos are very simple, they are quite tasty. The carnitas pork taco is really tasty, especially with the pickled onions! Yum!! The steak tacos had good flavor, but there was definitely grizzle to be found in them! The chicken was great! All of their tacos are served in a double soft corn taco, which helps them stay together through every bite! Overall, the tacos here are truly authentic, full of Mexican flavors, and perfect to cure any taco craving! Now, the only thing they need is a liquor license to serve some delicious margaritas to wash down the tacos!! . Service was okay. They forgot silverware, so we sat for a bit unable to eat our rice and beans (or add them to the tacos, which is what I do). They also forgot two side of rice and beans, brought one after a reminder, but the final one was never received! We all left full and happy, so that's great! We will definitely go back again! PS. They have a full menu, much more than just tacos!! **We were so hungry that I forgot to take pictures!

You can order 47 enchiladas, a taco tower, and a whole mariachi band -- it still shows up in like... 2 minutes flat. I blinked and my plate hit the table like ¡pa-pow! We rolled in deep -- hungry, dramatic, and skeptical -- but Casa Real doesn't miss. Food's legit tradicional, not that frozen microwave vibe. Think real-deal molé, juicy al pastor, and rice that didn't come from a box with a cartoon sombrero on it. Drinks? También fuego. Margaritas colder than your ex's soul and strong enough to make you text them anyway. They don't play. You order one, and suddenly you're fluent in Spanish and making bold life choices. Inside? Clean, bright, and cute as heck. It's giving abuela's pride meets HGTV en español. Even the bathroom smelled like lavender and redemption. Boomer-approved AND TikTok-worthy. Service? Next-level amable. They treat you like familia, but like the good kind of family -- not the one that steals your lawn chairs. Our server remembered our drinks before we sat down. I'm suspicious they've got cameras in my fridge. Prices? Bruh. You could feed a family of six for the price of two lattes and a muffin. I don't know how they do it. I'm not asking. I'm just coming back every week. Final Verdict: Casa Real is fast, friendly, and freakin' delicioso.
