I was so looking forward to their Jalisco Burrito again with cheese dip on the side. I ordered Tuesday May 4,2026. Pick up around 4pm. What a complete disappointment. At best it was half as good as the first one I ordered months prior. The restaurant wasn't even close to busy. Maybe 8 patrons at most. Carnitas was way too salty, and the burrito was made with big chunks of pork and that wasn't enjoyable eating. Shredding the meat is part of building a burrito. The cheese dip (sauce) was also chunky. Ridiculous. Big globs of congealed cheese dip with a runny thin sauce. It was as though it had been in the fridge and wasn't warmed properly. It was getting late a few weeks ago and we decided to give Tequila Jalisco a try. We arrived and were seated pretty quickly since it was towards the tail end of the dinner rush. It was a mostly relaxed atmosphere when we got there but they were playing a bunch of distracting music videos. We ordered a couple of drinks, two margaritas: one mango one passion fruit. But we tried each other's drinks and to be honest we couldn't tell the difference between the two since they tasted identical. Our waitress, who was nice and did a good job, brought over some chips and salsa, which was pretty good and we ordered the more deluxe version of their guacamole. Unfortunately, we noticed the consistency of the guacamole tasted like it was prepackaged since it had that prepackaged consistency. A bit disappointing because it was 10 dollars or so. We ordered an enchilada, shrimp tacos, and I ordered the Jalisco feast. The enchilada was alright but sort of bland. The shrimp tacos came with beans and the Jalisco feast came with rice and beans. The beans were a bit salty but I didn't mind to much cause I prefer more salt than not. The shrimp tacos had plain mayo on them which was a bit odd as we both thought Chipotle mayo or something similar would have been better. The Jalisco feast was alright but half the meat was kind of dry and the steak was cut so thin, I've seen thicker pieces of cheese. The shrimp was the best part of the Jalisco feast. The slasa was hot but decent and the Pico de gallo was alright. I have to say I wasn't too impressed with this place, especially for the price. There's not too many Mexican restaurants in the immediate area so if you're really craving it, it might satisfy your craving but elsewise I wasn't the biggest fan. I struggle with the rating to give this place. I really don't care for a 5 star ratings system because I would rate this place between a 5 out of 10, which would be a 2.5 out of 5. But since I can't select 2.5 I rounded up to a 3. It wasn't bad food and the service was alright but the food wasn't anything special, generally middle of the road in terms of quality. read more

Delicious mexican food and it carries very well to go. Always packaged to keep everything warm. Everything we've had here has been enjoyable and they have generous portions. Unfortunately this was a sadder experience than I had hoped for after reading many good reviews. We came here late evening on a weekday so not super busy and we were starving coming from an event with not enough food for the whole crew. So needless to say I wanted to order everything with everything on it! They brought out waters and fresh chips and salsa right away. It was good and really fresh, the chips had just came out of the fryer all toasty. Now there are two choices for guacamole on the menu. One just says guacamole and other says house made for an additional $3. We excitedly ordered the house made and promptly realized it wasn't house made. What is was, was prepackaged avocado mixture like the kind you get at the grocery store with fresh vegetables mixed in. It was pretty bland. No spices or any heat. So yeah, just order the regular guacamole. You aren't missing anything. I ordered the shrimp tacos and requested the addition of pineapple. This is definitely a pro-tip that I suggest you try! That being said my tacos were good, the shrimp were cooked perfectly. My only complaint with mine would be a general one. Why are you squirting plain mayo on tacos guys? AT LEAST make it Sriracha mayo or something. Food need's flavor, and in my opinion the more interesting the better! The margaritas that we ordered were huge! Definitely a plus here and a decent value for money, though I could not discern the difference between the passion fruit one and the mango one. The real disappointment came with everything else. Don't order the Jalisco feast, just don't do it to yourself. It's $27 for super salty jerky beef and pork of which parts were legitimately burnt. If we weren't starving I would have sent it back. The shrimp were again perfectly cooked and the grilled scallions were a nice fresh flavorful touch after that salt bomb. Now guys, I LOVE salt! It is the greatest! So when I say something is salty, think The Dead Sea in the Middle East. I mean yikes. The service was fine and our waitress was cute. The restaurant is clean and what you would expect for ambience. I would not say I would not come back here but I would not order a bunch of items ever again. I recently found great Authentic Mexican food over at Mi Mexican Lindo in Clifton Park so go and give them a try! read more

Been here at least 3x I love it! Food/Drink: Always what you expect from a Mexican restaurant. Tacoes: I am personally not a " Mexican" fan. However, The taco is a nice crunch and always made the same. Chips: 9 out of 10 times have been hot, crispy, crunchy, and flavorful. Dinning Area: Pretty large, open, quiet. Prices: Relatively cheap. Parking: Plenty of space, open type lot. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and medium in size. Atmosphere: Chill, not to busy. Staff/Attendants: Decent people, minimal interactions. Tried this place last week. We sat ourselves, the service was quick and friendly. Cute and clean restaurant. I got the tacos Al pastor dinner, and my husband had chicken enchiladas verdes. Went here with my Grandparents for my Grandma's 76th birthday, the food was amazing! Was a little bit on the pricey side, but it wasn't too bad, around the $20 mark for just about everything on the menu. The service was quick and helpful, and the music was good. The furniture was very pretty, but tough to be comfortable in, the table was very wobbly and the chairs were stiff, but you don't go to a restaurant to judge furniture! Hahaha! I should have know that we wouldn't care for it because we don't care for their other location. The salsa is bland, the chips were nothing special. I know that the location is newer, but the staff was very slow to even acknowledge that we were waiting at the door (there is no sign that says whether you seat or self or wait to be seated), let alone service our table. The chairs were wildly uncomfortable and husband was disappointed that they don't have fountain drinks. Husband got the enchilada plate and the portion was small and nothing special. I got the Burrito Texano. It was a good size, but it was mostly just the meat and potatoes, not the other items like creme fresh that were supposed to be in it. Some of the meat was too fatty to eat and it just didn't have any flavor. Husband thought that the french fries were not pre-cooked when they went in the burrito. They for sure were not crunchy, like I prefer. I work in a restaurant and have for 14yrs so I get how things can be when it's busy. Wanted to try this restaurant, somewhere new to try. Waited an hour for a table, yes it was busy. Got seated at 6:30 took about 20mins to get our drinks which only were waters, ice teas and cokes. Ordered our food and didn't get it until almost 8:00. Complaint was made because several tables had come in been seated ate and left before we were served. Maybe it was a inexperienced server. My biggest problem is when the manager asked us he said he would have to look at the video to see how long we were waiting after the order was placed. Really? He said we only waited 40mins so that means it took along time for our waiter to place the order. Anyway gave us a $5 discount for the wait. Atmosphere was nice but food was not great and not saying that because I was disappointed with the service, if it was good I would say so. Hope they figure things out but I wouldn't recommend to my family and friends. read more
