    Pizza

We have been here 3 days in a row. This place truly doesn't disappoint. The pull for us was that the food was delicious and fairly priced! Which is very difficult to find in Tulum because eating out is expensive and equivalent to US prices. Location: central downtown Tulum and right off the Main Street. Also easy street parking for vehicle, bikes or etc. We never had an issue finding a parking spot for our vehicle. Price: affordable. We paid about $40/50 USD with tip for each meal. But we also ordered a lot of food for two people. Our meals usually consisted of an appetizer, main dish, 2 pizzas and drinks. Ambience: very picturesque. It almost looks and feels like a little jungle inside. They also offer indoor covered seating and outdoor seating in their garden area. Overall everything we tried was delicious. Caprese salad - absolutely delicious and tasted fresh and delightful each time we tried it. Pizza - we had tried 6 different pizzas. Our favorite was pepperoni & the hydra pizza option. But they all have their own unique taste and flavor. Honestly you won't be disappointed with whatever option you choose. Bruschetta - a little different from what I'm used to but still as delicious. The bread had just the right crunch and the topping was very fresh and delicious. Pasta & Meatballs - pleasantly surprised with this dish because it's hard to perfect good pasta. But it was cooked just right and the flavor was there! This was my husbands favorite dish! Overall, give this place a try because you won't be disappointed!

Tropical punch - came with a sprig of rosemary that they set alight.

Amazing pizzas and cocktails. Came here for dinner twice, pizzas are wood fired, thin-ish base (which I prefer) the dough has really good flavour as do the toppings. Hubby and I got two pizzas to share both times, couldn't finish on either occasion. Drinks were on point. Mojitos are fresh, tropical punch was delish. Good vibe, just remember to apply the mozzie repellant thick if dining at night as they don't have anything going in the garden area or main section to keep them away.

Excellent service, food was amazing, very delicious pizzas, really cozy place and not expensive at all. Excelente servicio, la comida estuvo súper buena, las pizzas están deliciosas, un sitio muy acogedor y para nada costoso.

Vegetarian pizza on the top and the bottom was olives, mushrooms, artichoke, ham and I added pepperoni as an extra

Tucked away on Ave Kukulcan a block away from the hustle and bustle of Ave Tulum is La Hydra. I went for the pizza and was not disappointed. It was delicious. I discovered this place far to late in my vacation to have the opportunity to go back but they're at the top of my list of restaurants to visit when I return to Tulum!

OKAY THIS PLACE IS OPEN FOR BREAKFAST in the morning for simple but delicious breakfast!!!! We were here for five days and ate breakfast here every day. They have the BEST smoothies and aguas frescas at the most reasonable prices. The staff was attentive and friendly and everything we ate was so good. Definitely recommend to anybody looking to eat LOCAL and not at the touristy places near the beach.

Came here for dinner around 6pm with a friend. We had just arrived in tulum a couple hours ago and we're desperate for food. We found this hidden gem a couple blocks from our Airbnb. As a New Yorker I was a bit skeptical of the pizza but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the pizza was! It really exceeded my expectations and was on par with some of the best NY brick oven pizzas I've ever had! There's a canopy section for if it rains with multiple fans to keep you cool. The host/bartender is bilingual and was extremely friendly and helpful towards us. A great welcome to Tulum!

Craving pizza while in Tulum. So started searching up for any pizza spots in the area. My girlfriend happened to find this spot and we decided to give it a shot. Do not regret coming here one bit. The vibes were 10/10. Chill music playing loud but not too loud where you can not conversate. The staff members immediately welcomed us and seated us. We got 2 margaritas with Don Julio Reposado and they were great! Not bad at all for the price point! Then we ordered a classic Pepperoni pizza to share and the size is great for 2 people, especially for the price! The pizza itself has to be one the best pizzas I have ever tasted. The cheese tasted great, sauce was fantastic, how a real sauce should taste. The crust was nice, flavorful, and TOASTY! Couldnt ask for anything else in a pizza tbh. Me and my gf will definitely be back before leaving Tulum. Highly recommend this place, you will not regret it one bit!

Dope spot! Awesome friendly atmosphere and drinks are on point! The set up has that treehouse vibe and it's done well. Nice and cozy but not crammed. Good music too!

This pizza was one of the best I have ever had something about the cheese and the sauce makes it super good. Esta pizza fue una de las mejores que he tenido algo sobre el queso y la salsa lo hace súper bueno.

It is a very…read moresmall restaurant with limited tables for larger parties (they had two small cafe style pushed together for a 7 top when we were there). We put our name on a list, but no phone number was given so really it's a wait for a table or come back type of situation. We ended up leaving and coming back 40 mins later and were sat quickly outside. The pizzas are OUTSTANDING! I think the reviews all say that and it's the truth. The crust is Neapolitan style thinner crust but the flavor is just spot on! The toppings and sauce are well balanced. The roasted chicken was a great addition to the vegetarian. If they made cheese sticks with a marinara sauce with that crust it would be a HUGE seller! The green salad was pretty standard and not much that was memorable or forgettable, just good and as expected. Unfortunately, the bruschetta was a huge let down -- we literally received halved cherry tomatoes on a piece of bread. They served it with olive oil to drizzle, but that did not even come close to what we expected. There are a few cats that roam the outside patio, but they don't bother you much. The staff was welcoming and we had good conversation with the server even for it being 20 mins before they closed.

A laid back wood fired pizza spot with a super cool, relaxed ambience and the friendliest energy. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and honestly I've never had anything like it. It's insanely good. Pair it with their habanero sauce and jalapeños and it is literally fire. Perfectly cooked, bold flavor, unforgettable. We also ordered the Caprese with apples, almonds, and beets and wow. Such a fresh and different take on a salad. Every ingredient tasted so clean and vibrant. My tummy was genuinely happy after this meal, which says a lot. It's not far from where we're staying near Azulik, which made it even better. The vibe is effortless, chill, and welcoming. Bonus points for the two local cats, who are absolutely adorable and add so much charm to the place. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the menu has so many choices that there is truly something for everyone. If pizza is your love language and you're anywhere near Tulum, Boccanera is a must visit.

We went here twice for dinners during our stay and countless times for a dessert - I don't even want to admit the amount of times we went back for their tiramisu. They had $8 pizzas, and being used to USA prices and sizes thought it would be small. It was not. It was comically large. We got two the first time, but it was fun because it made excellent leftovers for our pool days. The pepperoni, four cheese, and margaritas were all great - thin crust, doughy enough on the outside edges. I wouldn't change a thing. I was very impressed. We wanted to try their tiramisu and like I said earlier it hit! The BEST I've ever had. I am already missing that after traveling home. My besties parents joked we should have bought the sheet pan of the tiramisu. Believe me, if this was an option, we would have! Service was always friendly and welcoming.

I cannot forget the OUT OF THIS WORLD tiramisu! Let me tell you this is the VERY BEST tiramisu I've ever had. Each time I had it, it got better, and better. I literally don't want to share a bite with anyone ever! Next time I come to Tulum, I will be getting it DAILY, instead of 4 out of 7 times. I have no shame! Our service from the same 3 servers each visit were great each and every time. They were friendly and so nice. I laughed each time we went in there wondering if they knew it was us, again? Haha! This is such a fun laid back vibe. The jams are spot on and makes you wanna sing and dance (which I did). The lights and trees are amazing as well. Definitely a spot you don't wanna pass up in Tulum. Pizza is huge and the cost is ridiculously fantastic- I still cannot get over it. Yummy yummy place and it's even better because it's a short walk from our place. Winninggggg! We ordered guacamole and chips along with a spicy margarita. The plate of guacamole was huge and very good. That could easily have fed me, but we had also wanted to try the pizza and had ordered the margarita with burrata. The pizza was definitely of the flatbread variety which we love. It was crisp and there was plenty of burrata to spread between all of the slices. The flavor was really good. We both really enjoyed it. We were stuffed after eating both of those items so couldn't try any dessert. The only downside was the margarita. I like mine tart, but this one didn't taste like there was any sweetener at all. It appeared to be just lime juice and tequila which was just not the way I like them. Other than that we had a very good meal and if we were staying for a while I'm sure we would return to Cinco again.

We came in around 11am and they were able to sit out group of 8 immediately. We started off with a couple orders of guacamole. Really solid guac here, the only thing that threw me off was the pomegranate seeds. Definitely would've preferred them not in there, not the kinda texture I'm used to when eating guac. I also had a taste of the tuna poke. The poke itself was really good, fish tasted fresh. What threw it off was the rice, which was uncooked making it not edible. It was brunch so I decided to go with the chilaquiles. I thought was ok, but my friends really enjoyed it. The portion size was pretty big and overall the price for a meal here wasn't as outrageous as the prices on the main strip in Tulum. Being that they are an mainly Italian spot that also serves Mexican food, I think ordering here for dinner would be the play here. For breakfast/brunch, it missed the mark for me. Bonus points for having solid wifi though.
