This review is for two separate experiences: 1. Dr. Eye Phone replaced the screen on my iPhone XS Max for a good price and fast on January 2022. I made an appointment and it was done in less than an hour. I recommend him for Xs max screen replacements. I give 5 stars for this service. However, I sent my mom to get a battery replacement. I told her to obtain a quote and make a appointment. He told my mom that he has to place an order but didn't... then he told her that the battery in her iPhone XS couldn't be replaced because it is built in. It was a complete waste of time and I'm disappointed with the overall customer service experience that my mother had at Dr. Eye Phone. She mentioned that when she arrived for the appointment that he was down the street at the barber. I don't what was the issue but this is bad service. read more

I can't believe I walked up to get a battery replaced in my iPhone 7 and walked away with a broken home button. This guy is shady. Even after going at it for a minute with him denying and I, accusing, he tried to up-sell me to fix the broken button. One might think that this was the plan all along. And albeit password protected, when home buttons are broken, Apple evokes the assistive touch on-screen home button automatically. This rotund man said smirking, "how could I have activated assistive touch? I don't have your password." This he belched up as his defense. Avoid his kiosk like sour milk. He can brick your phone with a hungry glance. And don't be fooled if the 'thin' one is the one helping you. He's only worsens the slight-of-hand by slathering a layer of incompetence atop their pie of Add on comment six months later: once I saw they tried to augment their apology with a lil'blame. These douchebags deserve the kiosk they inhabit. Anything other than a throw-away presence (i.e. brick'n mortar) would just waist the time of a commercial landlord with a lessor unavoidably headed for a slow toilet spin downward. Don't blame the owner. It's a hardwired mentality he can't help. And, NO....my f_____kin phone wasn't off/batt dead/not working. Bring baby wipes for these bu__t___h__les. First, background. After sitting for 2 years in a cabinet, it was time to rescue the photos off the iPhone 6, yes, it's a 6. Went to a certain apple store in the south bay and was quoted 178 $ for battery and screen. WHILE CHARGING at the the apple store the battery swelled up and SEPARATED the screen from the aluminum case. Time for a second opinion because apple repeated very professionally at least 3 times that they may not be able to save it. I call Dr Eye Phone. Quotes me 100. I drive to Middle of Los Angeles. The heart of it all. Isaac is chilling in his shop, finishes with other folks and takes my phone, says, "Ok gimme 15 minutes." "Sorry?" "fifteen minutes you drove all this way so, let's get it done." I get a dragon ice tea at the *bucks next door. Walk back, Isaac shows me my phone, screen is perfect no crack display is lit up with the photo from two years ago, nostalgia pumping through my veins. Unfortunately I don't have AppleCare+ and Apple wasn't able to help me, so I went to Dr. Eye Phone looking for alternatives. I spoke with Itzhak, the owner, which was very nice, knowledgable and straightforward. The store replaced my camera lens in 20 min, and at a very reasonable price! They serviced me with a new screen, but it malfunctioned within a few weeks and they refused to warranty repair it. They said I damaged it and refused to warranty it. DO NOT GO HERE. The phone has been in a hard shell case and completely undamaged, not even a scratch on the screen (it has a glass cover). Like you see in other people's reviews, this is a very common issue with them. They order subpar replacement parts which fail immediately. The customer service is very poor and the person didn't even want to take a look at my phone. They looked at it while I was holding it and said that's your fault you broke it and didn't even bother inspecting it. They will take your money and run, do not go here! read more

Was quoted around $200 here and was a little nervous at how the quality & environment was going to be AND if they were going to stick to the quoted price...but after seeing some good reviews I decided to check it out. My phone was fixed in under 20 mins, my fabulous quote stuck, worker was friendly, clean shop, and even received a free screen protector! I would absolutely recommend this business. I am an Apple junkie. I'm in the music business so my computers have been Mac for 10 years, I've been on the iPhone for the past eight. Even though my iPhone 11 Pro is rated for 3 m of water for 30 minutes, jumping in the pool for about two minutes on Saturday caused my phone to go into an endless loop of Apple logo on Tuesday. After trying a software update myself, I took it to an authorized Verizon dealer who ran a diagnostic and said the logic board was failing and the phone must be replaced. After talking to Itzhak at Dr Eyhe said to bring it by just in case. Though he was not on site, the technician Jimmie was able to replace JUST the front camera and restore my phone to functioning perfectly (except no Face ID because new camera).
