I finally decided to replace my cracked iPhone screen today. Isabel was so nice, patient, did a thorough job, friendly and knew what she was doing. She did an excellent job replacing my entire iPhone 6s screen. They also replace iPhone batteries $40, which I will come back for when I'm in town again. Decent price to replace the screen - $75 in 20 minutes!!! Now I feel like I have a brand new phone. They also have a large selection of phone cases. This review is for two separate experiences: 1. Dr. Eye Phone replaced the screen on my iPhone XS Max for a good price and fast on January 2022. I made an appointment and it was done in less than an hour. I recommend him for Xs max screen replacements. I give 5 stars for this service. However, I sent my mom to get a battery replacement. I told her to obtain a quote and make a appointment. He told my mom that he has to place an order but didn't... then he told her that the battery in her iPhone XS couldn't be replaced because it is built in. It was a complete waste of time and I'm disappointed with the overall customer service experience that my mother had at Dr. Eye Phone. She mentioned that when she arrived for the appointment that he was down the street at the barber. I don't what was the issue but this is bad service. read more

I can't believe I walked up to get a battery replaced in my iPhone 7 and walked away with a broken home button. This guy is shady. Even after going at it for a minute with him denying and I, accusing, he tried to up-sell me to fix the broken button. One might think that this was the plan all along. And albeit password protected, when home buttons are broken, Apple evokes the assistive touch on-screen home button automatically. This rotund man said smirking, "how could I have activated assistive touch? I don't have your password." This he belched up as his defense. Avoid his kiosk like sour milk. He can brick your phone with a hungry glance. And don't be fooled if the 'thin' one is the one helping you. He's only worsens the slight-of-hand by slathering a layer of incompetence atop their pie of Add on comment six months later: once I saw they tried to augment their apology with a lil'blame. These douchebags deserve the kiosk they inhabit. Anything other than a throw-away presence (i.e. brick'n mortar) would just waist the time of a commercial landlord with a lessor unavoidably headed for a slow toilet spin downward. Don't blame the owner. It's a hardwired mentality he can't help. And, NO....my f_____kin phone wasn't off/batt dead/not working. Bring baby wipes for these bu__t___h__les. First, background. After sitting for 2 years in a cabinet, it was time to rescue the photos off the iPhone 6, yes, it's a 6. Went to a certain apple store in the south bay and was quoted 178 $ for battery and screen. WHILE CHARGING at the the apple store the battery swelled up and SEPARATED the screen from the aluminum case. Time for a second opinion because apple repeated very professionally at least 3 times that they may not be able to save it. I call Dr Eye Phone. Quotes me 100. I drive to Middle of Los Angeles. The heart of it all. Isaac is chilling in his shop, finishes with other folks and takes my phone, says, "Ok gimme 15 minutes." "Sorry?" "fifteen minutes you drove all this way so, let's get it done." I get a dragon ice tea at the *bucks next door. Walk back, Isaac shows me my phone, screen is perfect no crack display is lit up with the photo from two years ago, nostalgia pumping through my veins. This week I dropped my phone on the sidewalk causing one of the lenses to crack. Unfortunately I don't have AppleCare+ and Apple wasn't able to help me, so I went to Dr. Eye Phone looking for alternatives. I spoke with Itzhak, the owner, which was very nice, knowledgable and straightforward. The store replaced my camera lens in 20 min, and at a very reasonable price! The quality of the repair was outstanding and my phone looked brand new again (see pic). I am very satisfied and I will definitely go back here when needed! I had to get my iPhone Xs screen replaced by them 3 different times for different issues that were occurring after the initial replacement. They serviced me with a new screen, but it malfunctioned within a few weeks and they refused to warranty repair it. They said I damaged it and refused to warranty it. DO NOT GO HERE. The phone has been in a hard shell case and completely undamaged, not even a scratch on the screen (it has a glass cover). Like you see in other people's reviews, this is a very common issue with them. They order subpar replacement parts which fail immediately. The customer service is very poor and the person didn't even want to take a look at my phone. They looked at it while I was holding it and said that's your fault you broke it and didn't even bother inspecting it. They will take your money and run, do not go here! read more

I got my iphone screened repaired and it wouldn't pick up on some of my typing, luckily under the 30 day warranty and the guy replaced it. I came back last week showing my screen was popping up, and told mr he couldn't repair it due to my case was bent and better I buy a new phone. I went to Ubreakifixit and they repaired the screen and my case was not bent. Also the cost to replace was much less At Ubreakifixit. read more

Wow. If I could leave more stars I would. I have an 11 pro max and have been quoted $400+ to fix my digitizer and screen. Was quoted around $200 here and was a little nervous at how the quality & environment was going to be AND if they were going to stick to the quoted price...but after seeing some good reviews I decided to check it out. My phone was fixed in under 20 mins, my fabulous quote stuck, worker was friendly, clean shop, and even received a free screen protector! I would absolutely recommend this business. They also have a 90 day warranty if receipt is kept, which was icing on the cake. Hopefully I don't break my phone again lol, but if I do I'll be back here. read more

When my son slammed an air-fryer on my iPhone 11, I didn't know if it could even be saved. I messaged Dr. Eye Phone and within seconds he told me to come by and gave me a reasonable quote. When I parked outside the store, Isabella was actually waiting outside, welcomed me in to their bright and beautiful store, and immediately got to work. Isabella was so smart, friendly and efficient, and my phone was perfectly fixed in about 15 minutes, and she even gave me a complimentary screen protector (hopefully to protect this from happening again). I am an Apple junkie. I'm in the music business so my computers have been Mac for 10 years, I've been on the iPhone for the past eight. Even though my iPhone 11 Pro is rated for 3 m of water for 30 minutes, jumping in the pool for about two minutes on Saturday caused my phone to go into an endless loop of Apple logo on Tuesday. After trying a software update myself, I took it to an authorized Verizon dealer who ran a diagnostic and said the logic board was failing and the phone must be replaced. After talking to Itzhak at Dr Eyhe said to bring it by just in case. Though he was not on site, the technician Jimmie was able to replace JUST the front camera and restore my phone to functioning perfectly (except no Face ID because new camera). I cancelled my replacement order ($750) and walked out the door in about an hour under $100. One of the best experiences ever. These guys will have first crack at my business every time. read more

The tech worked on my phone while he and Arsh chatted, not sure if he would've been quicker / more focused without the chatting ... or if he was working on other stuff before getting to my phone even though I was the only person waiting in the store... but after 20-30 minutes (mind you this is on top of the time I waited before he arrived) I was informed he was unable to complete the service on the spot because the battery needed to be drained first. So after 1+ hours I found out I needed to leave my device with the tech and pick it up in a few days' time. All's well that ends well because the tech succeeded in bypassing the FRP and removing the Google account I was locked out of. Arsh followed up in a few days to let me know I could pick up the device. I'd use them again as long as their prices remain competitive.

Although it now had physical malfunctions occurring that they never informed me, of I was still appreciative of the repair. After returning for what I thought would be good service is where the nightmare began. I brought in a pair of headphones since it's in their list of repairables yet immediately the guy turns me away. He says that they don't do work on AirPod Max's and to go to a different store. He wasn't willing to tell me which store to try or why they can't work on it; he seemed like he wanted me to leave so he could go back on his phone. Afterwards, I tried to get a free PC tune up. I scheduled an appointment and when I arrived instead of being treated properly the guy wanted to argue with me and try to explain to me that my appointment isn't showing up in his system while I'm showing him my confirmation messages. I understand technical difficulties but the guy was just being a weirdo. He snatched my phone out of my hand and then took it to the back multiple times. Eventually it popped up. If the guy could pick up on any social cues it could've went so much smoother. On the receipt is a pickup date, so I return 2 days after it. The laptop still isn't ready. It shouldn't take 7+ days to tune up a PC...The same guy from before helped me and he just blankly told me that they're still working on and it's not ready. They didn't even do a whole lot to the laptop I have no clue why it took them over 7 days to return it. It didn't even look like they wiped it down after using it nor did they remove their barcode sticker. Just terrible service I realized that after 1 positive experience, I got lucky and this place sucks. If you're looking for good customer service. If you enjoy helped at their convenience and lowkey screwed over this place is for you (ex. They will offer you a non-oem quality screen replacement for your iPhone.). Pretty sure they incentivize positive reviews as well so take the other ones with a grain of salt.

Every place I contacted either told me they couldn't help or wanted me to replace the entire unit. Star Service 88 was the first company willing to actually diagnose the problem instead of giving up. The technician took the time to remove my head unit, completely disassemble it, find the issue, and repair it. He explained everything along the way, was patient, and charged a very fair price for the work. It's rare to find someone willing to do component-level electronics repair these days, and that's exactly what they did. On top of fixing my radio, he also noticed my sound system wasn't tuned properly from a previous installation. They knew their stuff, explained everything, and actually cared about helping me find the right thing instead of just making a sale. I had my 8-month-old with me, and they were super welcoming. This person is a lying racist disgusting worm. He went off on me when I was at the South Bay Galleria mall one afternoon and I was looking for the Skechers store. A customer service desk wasn't anywhere near me, so I walked up to him to ask if he knew where the Skechers store was. Usually, people working in stores are nice enough to give you directions to other places in the mall you are looking for. When I asked him where was the Skechers store, he immediately went off and said, "What the hell do you want you black--?" and the rest of it was incomprehensible. I just simply asked a question, "Sir, do you know where the Skechers store is?" And he immediately went off. I replied telling him that he doesn't need to be rude and he threatened to call the police on me. What a miserable and awful person he is. I had forgotten all about this incident until I just recently found his reply to my review about his disorderly conduct on Google, and he lied about me breaking my phone again after he fixed it, when in actuality I never even got my phone fixed at his crummy business at all. I had just left a review on Google about HIM, not about his phone repair service, which is also bad just like he is as evidenced by the many negative reviews here. And does this idiot not realize that his replies to customer reviews are visible to the public? Lol first he said his name was Isaac in July 2022, then he said he was Nathan, the "new owner" of the business, in September 2022. Clearly, this dude is suffering from some kind of personality disorder. It's unfortunate that he didn't lose his business during the pandemic lockdowns. i went to the mall last week (3/3/16) not even looking to get my screen repaired. (iPhone6) i happen to see this place and was curious to how much they would charge to fix my screen. By far the best experience ever!!! the guy that helped was Amin, i was very satisfied with his service. I like that he was very straight forward with me and does not pressure you into fixing your phone with him. He only took about 15 mins to repair it and he even gave me a case and a temp glass protector. so if your looking to fix your phone within mintues and not days this is the spot to come. apple takes up to 3 days to fix because of the high traffic!!!!!!! read more

I took my phone to Dr. Eye Phone because I dropped it and broke the screen. Before replacing the screen Franky plugged in a new screen to make sure that there was nothing else wrong with the phone. Everything worked! He replaced the screen within 15 minutes and I was back in business! Franky is a rock star! He was able to repair a phone that I thought was destroyed. My phone's screen has been shattered for over a month now and I didn't have the time to do it. Luckily, I had the day off so I went to the mall and decided to change the screen. He really did a great job, he knew what he was doing, changed it in 10 minutes and made sure everything was perfect before giving me the phone back. The tech worked on my phone while he and Arsh chatted, not sure if he would've been quicker / more focused without the chatting ... or if he was working on other stuff before getting to my phone even though I was the only person waiting in the store... but after 20-30 minutes (mind you this is on top of the time I waited before he arrived) I was informed he was unable to complete the service on the spot because the battery needed to be drained first. So after 1+ hours I found out I needed to leave my device with the tech and pick it up in a few days' time. All's well that ends well because the tech succeeded in bypassing the FRP and removing the Google account I was locked out of. Arsh followed up in a few days to let me know I could pick up the device. I'd use them again as long as their prices remain competitive.
