Looks are very deceiving from the outside. Go inside. You won't be disappointed! Authentic Mexican food. Great sweet tea!

HUGE PORTION SIZES!…read more I ordered the Steak and Chicken Fajitas. The flavoring was okay but the portion sizes is where its at!!! I swear you could fees four people with the amount of food you get with it. Plus 2 plates of lettuce, cheese, guacamole, rice and beans.... which again HUGE. Where it lacks in flavor makes up for it in portion and price point. When I initially went into the restaurant it was super crowded (its very small inside) and I looked over the menu and was shocked to see the prices the way they were. A bit high. Then I got my food. It was worth it. I paid $23.99 for my fajitas for 2 and we barely put a dent in them. The server was super friendly but at the beginning the service was slow. I understand though because it was super busy and a small crowded space makes for chaos. All in all I dont mind it and I would definitely go back. I do need to try the margaritas too!

A scrumptious looking quesadilla graces me with its presence. I partake in the first bite and observe as my body reacts to the flavor of the food. Rancid. Putrid. The shredded cheese has gone bad surely. My mouth is enveloped with the flavor of moldy dairy. I try to down it but my body was rejecting it. This is not what it normally tastes like. My friends concur as the cheese in their food tastes very off as-well. The manager is brought to the table, and asks what's wrong. We voice our concerns and were told "the cheese was from a new vendor" as the sole reason for it tasting like dookie bun bun mold cheese. We were then brushed off as though the food was perfectly fine. In the end we paid for our food without eating another bite or making a scene even though we expressed our dissatisfaction. Patricia C. Hodgell is often quoted in saying "That which can be destroyed by the truth should be." This is my truth. That cheese was disgusting

Don't know where everybody went or what they got going on across the street but whatever it is....maybe it's how the rice gets done with a scoop and looks more organized on your plate...whatever it is y'all go ahead. Habaneros, go in there and ill 5 * guarantee it. The people are genuine. I can go in, sit down, place my order, they don't care about how you dress and are always respectful. Seriously I bet you if you went in with no pants on and lit a firecracker...soon as you're done actin foolish they'd still hand you a menu. Some of these dudes have been there like a decade +. Theres no one else in town with that dedication. All those years handling the drunken yells and fielding phone calls from the entire population of Thomson on a weekend 2 minutes before closing time. My God! Bless them! Then.....Singing happy birthday 18 times a week. No matter, no complaints. don't care about your drama or who voted Obama. You come with nonsense fine, but I guarantee you if you walk in there before you can ask they will have you seated. I never once had a bad time. Before you realize you need a refill bam! Refill. Then let's say they got your order wrong when you called in. No problem, Bam! Then they even apologize for your mistake. Consistently awesome. Never called once where they didn't answer the phone. Maybe one other business in town has done that and I promise you, promise you they have the ears of a veteran service dog. You can have wrestling on, kids fighting over who gets the tablet next, a freakin band concert. You say your order one time....one time..... no matter what they got you. And if and I mean if they make you repeat it, they just do it because they know instinctively what you said wasn't you meant. That's just them allowing you to fix what you said. Anyways, awesome drinks. Great owners, tremendous wait staff, and the foods pretty good too. So yeh, that's a 10. Keep it up guys, y'all are a much needed restaurant in this town

Without missing a beat, another waiter brought the best salsa and chips spread I've ever had! The good. We ordered the fajitas mixtas and a chicken taco salad. Despite being very busy, our food came out in about 15 minutes, which was just enough time to sample all the awesome salsa. Both of our meals had a decent amount of fresh guac, pico and sour cream. The chicken and steak in my fajitas was tender and cooked perfectly. The bad. My only complaints would be the seasoning on the fajitas, which was ok but would have been better if it was just simple salt/pepper/garlic. Also, the parking in the stipmall is horrible, especially if you drive a truck or larger vehicle. This isn't the restaurants fault but worth mentioning. The ugly. Overall, we both enjoyed our food and the general atmosphere. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. For $26, we both walked out stuffed and have enough leftovers for another meal, can't beat that so well be back for sure! 4.5 stars!

Small restaurant with great food and fantastic flavors…read more We were traveling and decided that we needed to stop for dinner, so we saw the great reviews for lost buenos and we gave you a try. Only about eight tables inside and they also have grocery items, including fruit and vegetables, candies, and baked goods. At first, we were gonna get get our items to go, but when we realized it would probably be hard to eat in the car so we stayed and had a wonderful meal. Did you really want to hear about the food: Salsa - fresh, mild kick, I would consider it more on that chunky side than the smooth side. Salsa - very thin, some more on the smooth side, but very tasty. Cucumber Pinapple Drink - refreshing, with a hint of the pineapple sweetness. Really delicious, and served in a small picture which threw me at first, but then I realized everybody else had them, and they were drinking through a straw. Problem solved. Tamarind Drink - not quite as refreshing as the cucumber, but the drink was good with that hint of tamarin flavor.. Burritto - serve with your choice of meat, it was enough to feed two people, two very large people. It also comes with fresh, cucumber and radishes, which was a really nice touch. We got ours with chicken and peach with our choice.. We decided to get a couple of the baked goods to go, so maybe I'll update my review after we give those a try in the morning. Great little fine. I think you'll enjoy it.

They're always friendly, attentive, and pleasant, so I have absolutely no complaints about the service. On one visit, I ordered a quesabirria taco. Nothing outrageous or unusual--quesabirria is pretty standard fare these days. When my tacos arrived, they were dry and, more importantly, had no cheese on them. I asked the waiter about my quesabirria, and she replied, "Quesadilla?" I said no and pointed to the taco, explaining that it was supposed to have cheese. She said she could bring some cheese out separately. But that's not really how a quesabirria is supposed to work. The cheese should be grilled with the meat so it melts and caramelizes against the tortilla. That's part of what makes a quesabirria a quesabirria. Simply bringing out some cheese afterward doesn't fix the problem. I then asked if they had a bowl of consommé to dip the birria taco in. They didn't have any. So I ate my miserably DRY birra taco with no cheese or consommé. DO NOT RECOMMEND. On another visit, I ordered the #11 taco dinner: taco, enchilada and burrito. Unfortunately, another bad experience. The ground beef simply isn't seasoned properly. And when I say that, I mean it doesn't taste very good. That becomes especially obvious when you're eating the taco because there isn't much else there to disguise the flavor of the meat. Honestly, they could do better by going to the grocery store and grabbing a packet of taco seasoning off the shelf. The same ground beef is used inside the burrito and enchilada. At least they use two different sauces on those, which helps cover up some of the taste of the meat. DO NOT RECOMMEND. At this point, the only reason I continue to go here is because I'm occasionally with a large party of people who want to eat here. I would never choose to come here on my own. The staff deserves credit because they're consistently good. Unfortunately, the food just isn't.
