They asked for an inspo pic, and it was nice that they give an estimated cost beforehand so you know what you're getting yourself into. Service was great, they put me on a massage chair and had one person working on my manicure and another on my pedicure. They were also super sweet! I arrived 9:20 AM and waited a bit before getting asked to choose my color, and I ended up asking for a recommendation based on what was similar to my inspo picture. The process start to finish was quite fast--40 minutes for short gelx. There were a lot of cateye options, but CC who was in charge of the design was very knowledgeable and helped me narrow it down. She was very sweet as well when we were chatting. My total was $85 for the gelx and cateye design. The space inside is clean and spacious, and street parking was not too bad on a Saturday morning. Miore is a great place to get your nails done. it is very clean and seems very sanitary. The staff at miore is so welcoming and friendly! I sent them a dm on Instagram with my inspiration photos. I was able to set up an appointment and confirm my designs through messages, and as a result I felt confident that they could do this design before even coming in. I got gel-x nails and a pedicure. The staff suggested a specialized pedicure for my individual needs and guided me through many decisions. They were really friendly and talkative. I chose a blush cateye style, and my results were exactly as I wanted! The nails lasted a long time, around an entire month before I had them filled. After my appointment, they gave me complementary cuticle oil. The pictures speak for themselves! Got regular polish for a mani pedi. Everything was pretty great- I didn't bleed while they cleaned cuticles which is a win. The staff were very kind and welcoming. It was very clean and neat inside, and I got to watch a Korean baking video on the tv lol. The pedicure chairs are also massage chairs + were super clean imo! I believe their speciality is designs and all the pics posted here look great- it made me want to try next time lol Parking: lots of street parking. I had no issue finding parking right outside the store. Some random notes as to why it wasn't a 5/5 for me: - The area it is in is quite boujee, and I felt that the interior could've met that vibe a little better. Not that it wasn't nice or it wasn't clean- it just felt like they could be doing a little bit more to bring up the ambiance? - When I've gotten regular polish at other places, they typically bring me a fan of sorts for my hands but I didn't get one here. Even though I live in Mission Valley, I gladly make the trip to La Jolla for their exceptional service. What keeps me coming back? Their consistency, high-quality service, fantastic staff, and inviting atmosphere. I NEVER leave the salon unsatisfied. I'm very particular about my nails being perfect (a little extra, I know), but Miore Nails always goes above and beyond to meet my expectations. I usually get gel-x or gel services for my manicures and pedicures, and the quality is unmatched. Not once has a nail broken before my next fill or new set--NOT ONCE. I've been to Miore quite a few times now, and I love my experience each time I go. When I first booked an appointment, I had reached out with a picture of a design I was thinking about getting. They responded quickly and helped me set up an appointment for the following weekend. When I arrived I was greeted and offered a pillow for the chair. John put on the gel-x nails and shaped my natural nails before CC did the charms and designs. The process was very relaxing and through each step, they made sure to check in with me before to make sure we were on the same page about the design/shaping etc. After we finished, CC put some cuticle oil and I paid at the front. Overall the staff are very friendly and helpful. For someone who is normally a little shy, I felt very comfortable here, hence why I keep going! CC & John do wonderfully with designing and making gel-x nails which are the nails pictured in the photos. For me, they're definitely worth the 30min drive! After over two years of loyalty and consistent visits with my mom, I'm genuinely disappointed to say we will no longer be returning to Miore Nails. At my most recent visit, my nails simply did not last. When my mom (who was also getting her nails done) respectfully brought it up, instead of handling the feedback professionally, the staff immediately shifted blame onto me; accusing me of biting my nails and "ripping them off". They openly criticized the condition of my nails in front of the entire salon, speaking in an incredibly demeaning and condescending way. To make matters worse, they spent most of the appointment blatantly gossiping about me in another language, right in front of me. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and frankly, humiliating. Loyal customers deserve better. Instead of owning the issue or offering a solution, they chose to insult and dismiss. read more

I love, love, love the experience I had at this place! I am very shy and have not had a mani in years, but the folks here were absolutely lovely and so nice. I got my nails done for my anniversary-- gel mani! I had no appointment but the walk-in process was very easy and I barely had to wait (10-15 minutes.) The salon is very clean and bright, and they had a TV screen with a popular homestead Youtube video playing, so it was a very comfortable experience. The main thing that I came in for were the jelly colors that you see on Instagram, and I'm really happy to say that Miore listens to you and what you ask for. At other salons, I've had bad experiences with asking for a light, glossy finish and having the technician talk over me for an opaque, solid finish. I have also been cut badly at a pedi with someone pushing my cuticles back too aggressively before at another salon, which put me off for several years, but I'm so glad I took the plunge with this location. The lovely receptionist was more than happy to accommodate and even showed me another polish that would have more of a jelly texture and finish, with just the perfect lavender shade that I loved. My technician was very gentle and precise with his work. I have very sensitive cuticles but his work was impeccable and the shaping was effortless. He's a true artist. I love that he and the receptionist were both very proactive about suggesting how many coats would be sufficient (we went with two!) and made sure that I was happy with the final results, showing me the color and shape after each step. I never felt pressured or nervous during the whole process, and was genuinely very happy with how they turned out. The price point was also really good ($20 for the base mani, plus another $20 for gel.) I'm over the moon with how nicely they turned out, and my experience was so positive that I will return here for as long as they remain open, and would highly recommend to any first-timers or people who are new to manis for the great experience.
