She's all laughs and smiles with her coworkers and other customers but for some reason the minute my husband and I walked up to the counter she was so rude. I wanted a large coffee but she entered a small and didn't ask if I wanted it hot or iced but thankfully I let her know I wanted it iced. She had glasses was wearing a green top today and hair pinned up with a claw clip. I know this is a cafe with literally "kind" in the name and she was not kind at all. But I know i wouldn't be able to get that as I was already late for a meeting with the delay. Both drinks tasted great; neither too sweet, just sweet enough and you have the option to get both these drinks hot or iced. The drinks are refreshingly good and 10/10 would recommend! It's such a cute little spot and I love the white and yellow color combo inside, so aesthetically pleasing. Outside, they have a bright yellow truck on display and you can't miss it! They have a great selection of drinks you can choose from, and I love that all the drinks come with cute little messages on them that are nice daily reminders for everyone. Visiting from out of town and daughter says LaLa land is a must. We ordered using the LaLa land App for the Oak Lawn location and then Ubered over to this location from our hotel. The La La land App said the order would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived, the store was crazy packed with lots of unhappy faces. The young lady at the counter said there were 50 orders ahead of us and that it would be 45-60 minute wait for our latte's. When I pointed out that the app told me that our order should be ready by now, a very rude young lady employee with glasses interrupted our conversation and started yelling at me. She said "we can't control the app, we're obviously very busy, and that we're just going to have to deal with it"... I asked if she was the manager and she replied no and that she didn't know where the manager was. A nice young employee overheard this verbal assault and stepped in to say that LaLa land was working on a big catering event and that things were really backed up. I pointed out that the commitments made through the App should reflect reality. I also recommended that they turn off the App until they were caught up. She said the only person that controls the ordering app is the manager. And, that the manager wasn't around. Huh?! I left the location without my drink (needed to get back to the hotel for a meeting) and my wife hung around for the order to be ready. After waiting an hour, she learned that the order had been cancelled inadvertently. They made the lattes right away and said the would be complimentary. My wife discovered after returning to the hotel that Lala land charged her. This location needs some serious training on customer services, protocols for large catering orders and how to manage, etc. And why did two employees say they had no idea where the manager was? Finally the young lady with the glasses shouldn't be working in a customer facing position. She was awful/so rude. read more

Saw this place on instagram and decided to try it out. Came here with low expectations since a lot of the times popular and instagram worthy places don't translate to good product being offered. I was wrong about this one, the coffee was actually good. I got the lavender bloom latte and it did not disappoint with just the perfect amount of sweetness and caffeine to satisfy this coffee snob who probably has more caffeine in a day than they probably should. This latte also did not leave me wishing for another shot of espresso like some other places do to either taste the coffee or dilute the overwhelming sweetness. The cinnamon cruffin was a bit disappointing as the cinnamon could've been incorporated into the dough itself instead of just the outside sugar cinnamon churro like dusting. If you're in a rush I would not recommend this place at least on a weekend as it was packed when I got there around 11am on a Sunday. I love La La Land! They have good coffee and matcha lattes, unique flavors and very aesthetically pleasing drinks. This location is harder to find parking than some of the other locations. There is minimal parking up front. There is a parking lot in the back but some have signs reserved for the store next door, so be careful and pay attention to where you park. I was able to still find a spot in the lot behind but can see the lot being full during peak hours. This location also seems small & cramped inside. Not sure if space is smaller or just more people than other locations. Service took a while at this store. There was a long line to order and then took about 10 minutes to get my drink. I've never had to wait at other locations. This won't be my go-to location. However, if I'm around & craving La La land, I'd still stop by. read more

Super cute place! Loved the merch but I have a few complaints. I know they are labeled as a Cafe. Unfortunately, there are no plugs that allow you to sit and work, which might be on purpose so they don't want people camping there all day, which I completely understand. And the music was extremely loud to the point where we couldn't have a conversation without practically yelling at each other, and I got the mango green tea I had asked for a large and I don't know if the very small cup that I got was considered their large, but it also didn't taste like it had any mango and it either. I had to try this place when I saw it all over social media and the local offices were frequently ordering it for lunch. I ordered a seasonal beverage that had a "pumpkin cloud" and it is just one of those things you have to try yourself - it's something between a whipped cream and a cappuccino foam. It was amazing. I was served by the most friendly, patient people that answered all my questions about the menu and gave me suggestions when I asked for something not too sweet. The cruffin was yummy, too, and like the beverage, unlike anything I've ever tried. The ONLY bad thing is that this is in Dallas so the parking lot is quite small. This coffee shop doesn't take cash, but you can still tip on the card machine if you'd like. I have been to the other locations before, but I stopped by this one on the way home from work. The baristas are very sweet and talked to me about silly things customers do. As someone who also was a barista at another place-we-do-not-name, I thought it was nice that they're allowed to speak freely to customers. I got the Lavender matcha with CBD. It was not 'weedy' or too oily. It didn't make my stomach cramp up and, in fact, I had the BEST nap when I finished it. read more

After my workout on Saturday I decided to make my way over to the cutest coffee shop in town! This adorable spot will catch your eye with the uplifting vibrant yellow storefront. There is very little parking at the Oak Lawn location. So get there early enough and snag one up front or park along the street. This seems to be a hub for yuppies in the area to come to after a workout - I saw many Soul Cycle/studio hoppers/gym rats in their athleisure in line for their caffeine fix. Aside from delicious java concoctions they also serve light breakfast items like avocado toast. Definitely try the other colorful items they have in store such as the butterfly or lavender bloom latte. They also have different types of loose leaf teas (both energizing and/or calming) lots of tasty selections for your sipping or munching pleasure. Plus shop for happy merch with cute sayings on them. We all could use a little joy and kindness in our day to day. I want to try everything on the menu so I'll without a doubt be back for that boost! read more

I'm normally skeptical of trying coffee outside of my usuals (black rock, dutch bros, starbucks) but i was pleasantly surprised. The service was great all the workers seemed really nice. The location is cute, food and coffee were both great. I got a latte and my gf got a matcha and both agreed they were great.
