They have a lot of options on the menu to choose from. I had the shrimp tacos and were better than expected. Shrimp was crunchy, and the sauce added was savory. The avocado was a surprise that I enjoyed. The gordita was good but not great. The service was excellent, and the lady was kind and attentive. Prices are fair. Looking for some decent Mexican food in the area. We stopped in for the breakfast. The chorizo and eggs were good. Not overly greasy like a lot of places. The beans are not your typical refried beans but finding out it's the beans in the area. The flour tortillas are smaller and thicker but ok. The service and prices were good. I came here for a quick sit down lunch and enjoyed the great price for food their little Hispanic market attached to the restaurant. Their lunch specials come with large portions of food. I also ordered their horchata because I'm a fan of this cinnamon rice drink. They also give you two different types of salsa, green and red, and house salsa with chips. The parking lot is located in the front and can be limited during lunch time. The waitresses were very kind and quick at taking your orders. I've found it! A little piece of Cali Mexican food We ordered Limonada aqua fresca, shrimp & birria tacos, pizza & fries, strawberry lemonade and sweet tea. All of the drinks taste like they were made by hand. The customer service is fast and efficient. The ambiance is pleasant, but relaxed live at home. Wow wow wow. My son and I tried them for the first time 2 weeks ago and he's had to get it 2 more times since. The guacamole is so fresh, with just a hint of citrus that reminds me so much of when I lived in San Antonio. Fajitas were delicious! Nachos Laguna was good and so was my sons Chimichanga but those Papas Locas were dynamite!!! Only thing that wasn't a fan of would be the tamale but in all fairness my husband makes his own and his are out of this world good so i am pretty biased about those. I'd heard they have horchata but We ordered thru a delivery app and there wasn't an option to order drinks at all. If so I think this could have easily been 4.5 review that as usual if it's great and service is good I round up. But once I try those I'll update my review. This is a hole in the wall which is pretty good. I wouldn't come if you are looking for a nice date night, but definitely for a quick bite of food. The buche was nice and tasty but the mole didnt really taste good. The carnitas were too crispy. Hard to eat. But the rest was pretty tasty. The salsa and salsa verse were really good. We just moved to the area & stopped in to try this spot because my husband craves street tacos all the time. I'll start by saying their meat itself is very good, im super picky with meat considering some places don't care too much & throw in the fatty pieces. I've yet to get a bad taco. The aguas frescas all taste very authentic & yummy! Service both times we've came have been great, we tend to get here a little later in the day so there's not a wait but during lunch time it does get busy. We're both from CA where the Mexican culture is popular, being Mexican myself, I have nothing bad to say about this place. So, I paid $7 for basically a small portion of choriqueso to go. Actually the smallest portion I've seen at any Mexican restaurant here in Clarksville. Also, the queso we ordered for the table as well as the choriqueso was watery. I just threw it away! Waste of money; but who cares right l? Their queso isn't the least bit of thick. I am really picky when it comes to Al Pastor and it's probably some of the best. Their Horchata is also some of the beat ive ever had. And that's going up against LA spots. Me and my wife recently moved to Clarksville, TN. We always look for good Mexican food wherever we go. We stopped at "La Laguna" because it was one of the top results in a quick Google search. We arrived and first went to the little convenience which is conveniently attached, purchased our items and ordered food with the cashier. We ordered an order of "QuesaBirria Tacos", a "Shredded Chicken Burrito" and two "Carne Asada Tacos". We were asked to wait in the dining while our food was ready. Everything that we ordered was great! The QuesaBirria tacos came with a side of "Consome" which is the juice from the birria. The burrito was a perfect size for a big appetite and was filled with chicken, rice, refried beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream. My daughter also loved the Carne Asada Tacos. I have kept coming back here after my first time. The food, the employees are all really nice. This place gets busy during lunch, everyone from post comes here for lunch! So come early if you want a table! They do call ahead, so you can reserve a table for a large party. The chips and salsa are like crack. There salsa is so good I could drink it. La Laguna is a unassuming gem among the many stores that line Ft. Campbell Blvd. Don't let the looks fool you it's what's inside that counts. Inside you will find some of the best Mexican food North of the Rio Grande, the dishes that come from within its kitchen taste as if it could be found in homes of Mexico. The staff is friendly and service and Portions are good, but even if that were not the case the taste and flavors of the meals would keep me returning. The market inside the same building isn't the biggest but it does have the staples including a small meat department and prices are reasonable.
