My spouse and I wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant. Worst experince we have had in a long time. She ordered enchiladas rancheras. The whole dish was cold. Shells uncooked, and the sauce tasted like somwthing out of Italian tomato paste can. I had the parrillada don Pablo. No seasoning with the meat, steak was dry, and the shrimp was hard. Hey, I get it when not all Mexican restaurants aren't always "authentic" but you still expect to eat something good and somewhat fresh. Not the case here and what I got which was cold and uncooked enchiladas. When you bring me a plate less than ten minutes after I ordered and cold then there's a problem. The tortilla was white and uncooked. Red tomato sauce not even enchilada sauce was on top of the cold shredded chicken. I sent it back immediately! Even my husband looked at my plate and knew it was cold. Didn't get a replacement meal. My husband mentioned to me that his rice and beans wasn't that good either. He didn't finish his plate. He said it wasn't that great. That's his favorite meal when we go out to Mexican restaurants. Maybe it was a bad day here....I don't know. We know what we like as far as food and drinks. I picked up a to go order and when I arrived home, part of the order was missing. I called the restaurant to tell them and the man who answered wanted to argue about it. It was very unprofessional. I've gone here for years but it's not the same level of service the last two times. We were overcharged the time prior to this when we dined in, but as they take the ticket when you pay and did not give a receipt, we had no proof. It's a pleasant place. The food was good, but the spices were not any I am used to. If you are looking for Tex-Mex, you might be disappointed. The service was good. The tea was good. What a hidden gem a little off the beaten path on riverside in Clarksville. Get your hair done at Stuid Slay (best salon in Clarksville) then come here for lunch or dinner. One meal can feed 2-4 ppl easily and the flavors are delightfully there - without tons of salt. The comp salsa is not chunky but it does have a good kick. It it self serve so each person be an portion accordingly. The variety of dishes is simply amazing. I got the Molcajete and it had a steak, two pieces of chicken, tons of chrorizo, several pieces of individually seasoned shrimp, and veges accompanied by rice, diced tomatoes, refried beans, sour cream and guacamole with 4 tortillas for $16!!!! I recently went to Pablo's after a family funeral with a group of about ten. We all drank margaritas, regular, mango, strawberry, and the prickly pear was especially tasty. The fresh salsa and chips were good, and thankfully they kept bringing them out because we were chatting a while. Some ordered tacos and the like, but I really want to mention the tilapia. Pablos is nestled on Riverside drive by historic dowtown. This area is just inviting, and I believed Pablo's "authentic" Mexican restaurant would be too. When the hostess handed me my menu, I noticed dried salsa on it. Things only got worse from there. We ordered the cheese dip for an appetizer, and it was so thin that it was like non fat milk. My order was wrong, and my taco had one and a half shells. Why? The food was authentic straight from a can of cheap tomato sauce out of a can with Italian, not Mexican seasoning. A lot of my co workers recommended this place to me so I decided to give it a try. I looked at the menu online and it said combination plates were 8.49. That sounds great! So I order over the phone for pick up. When I went to pick it up it ended up being $15.03. I didn't order anything extra or sides of anything to raise the price. I asked one of the co workers why it was almost double the listed price and he responded "those are old prices, we raised them since then." Why wouldn't your official site have correct prices? Was craving Mexican food. My husband looked up best Mexican here because we're new in town. Boom! Pablo's pulls up. Cool! Look at menu online and order for pick up. I get the three shrimp tacos with white rice and beans and he gets the nachos with sausage, steak and shrimp. He says his food was delicious and best he's had. Awesome! Well...me on the other hand...I will NEVER eat here again. Rice and beans were cold, chips were stale, tacos were mediocre. That's not even the worst part. I'm currently hunched over in bed with a bottle of pepto. My stomach hurts soooo bad, I'm trying everything to not throw up or crap my pants before actually making it to the bathroom. Great place. I had the Pablo's special. There was a lot of charred pieces in my meal that seem to be from an I scraped flat top grill. But I just picked out those parts. It was really good despite that. Shrimp was not overly cooked & the cheese sauce really made the fish. We ordered a large cheese dipping bowl. I found it to be overly salty much like velvetta cheese. Daughter had the taco salad & it looked more like an enormous taco shell rather than a taco shell bowl shape. Neither of us could finish our meals after filling up on 2 baskets of salsa & chips. This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant!!! The chicken and steak fajitas are amazing, juicy, and very flavorful. On Wednesday's and Saturday's they have $1.99 margaritas and Saturday they have a live band that plays from 6-8pm which is super awesome! The best Mexican I've had in Clarksville hands down! I've tried several places in Clarksville and none of them have the flavors that this place has! On top of that, while the prices of many items may be $1-$4 more than other places, you get SOOO much food! We always end up with many leftovers! And their house-made hot sauce is super spicy and delicious! The food always comes out super fast. The margaritas are also better than a lot of places, too. I had a Taco Salad here, It was soggy and when I broke into the Shell water poured out of the bottom. Worst taco salad I've ever had.

I stopped by to have a little Mexican taste and ot really shocked me. The food was really good and the service was awesome.

Went here for a going away dinner and once arrived, even after 15 minutes, no one at our table got their drink orders taken while the other tables got drinks, refills, and food. A coworker repeatedly asked the waiter to take our order and they continuously walked away like we were not even there. After finally getting a waiter, we were ready to order but the waiter would only take our drink orders. After getting drinks, we asked for straws, napkins, and silverware. The waiter walks off again. I finally get up, find a waitress, ask for straws and silverware, she tells me to grab some. I grab all of what we needed from the hostess station and take back to the table. My coworkers offered me tips because I was doing more than the wait staff. Finally get our food and it's absolutely horrible. Cold food, no flavor, my beans were clumpy . Margaritas tasted like water. This place is a joke. Wait staff is rude and the food is not authentic. Anyone who says this food or service is good has obviously not ventured outside of Clarksville and is impressed with shit service. We have been here 3 times now and it's very good. I very much like the backlogs. We did have the lunch sampler meal and it was mostly terrible . The quesadilla was only a tortilla and cheese and the cheese enchilada had like a marinara sauce on it. But the Schroeder's chicken nachos are deli spud as was some sampler burrito thing my husband got. The food is nicely priced.
