We were passing thru this area on a road trip and stopped here due to good Yelp! reviews and my love for Mexican restaurants. We were seated immediately and the food came out pretty fast. Hubby enjoyed his fajitas and loved the chips and salsa. He actually finished two little salsa bowls while we were there. I have an affinity for birria so was excited to see the birria burrito on the menu. However, I really didn't want all of the burrito fillings so was excited when hubby pointed out the "quesabirria" (yep, birria in a quesadilla). The excitement was lessened once I got my food. It was way too cheesy for my tastes. The cheese overpowered the birria. I ended up opening them to just eat the meat and then eating some of the remaining tortilla as if I'd just ordered a cheese quesadilla on the side. I wish I'd looked thru the taco portion of the menu to see if birria was an option. That probably would've suited me better. Since we were child free and the drink menu prices were beyond reasonable, I ordered a skinny coconut margarita. It was tasty and yet there was a bit too much ice. Stopped in for tacos after shopping one night in December after hearing some very positive reviews. We wound up here since it was a holiday and the other place we had decided on was closed. It turns out this was a great option. It was easy to find (attached to the Motel 6) and has a good amount of parking. Handicapped spaces are near the door, and the paved lot makes walking easy. The hostess stand is right next to the door as you walk in. We were greeted right away and taken to a booth. Seating is a mix of tables and booths. Our waiter took our drink order and the chips and salsa arrived immediately. The salsa is of the chipotle type, with enough smokiness to stand out. The chips were light and crisp and allowed the flavor of the salsa to come through. We ordered our food which look no more than 10 minutes to arrive. The Chimichangas Supremes had four small chimichangas with different fillings. My favorites were the shrimp, chicken, and steak. All were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The beef chimichanga was just seasoned ground beef, which was fine but suffered in comparison to the other protein choices. The beans and rice were certainly fine but nothing special. The lettuce and pico were fresh, and the guacamole was pretty good as well. The Nachos Fajitas were hot and very good. The meat was seasoned well, and the veggies cooked perfectly with some crunchiness remaining. The chips were crisp and held up well to the toppings. Even though this was not our first choice that evening, it certainly made an impression and will be a primary destination the next time we pass through. read more

When we pulled into the lot, there was one car there. It was dinner time so we thought that was odd. BUT, we are on a mission to try every Mexican Restaurant in Clarksville, so we went in. Obviously we were seated quickly and orders were taken. The chips and salsa (and queso) were all excellent. When the food came (very quickly), we enjoyed it quite a bit. The grilled chicken has just a slight bit of heat in it so it tastes great. HOWEVER, once the food was dropped off, the server came by one time. One. To refill a drink and bring shredded cheese to my wife. After that, she went back to the back and we could hear them screaming and laughing and cutting up. After approximately 15-20 minutes, we were finished (and had been for some time), and we were going to try the sopapilla with ice cream. We waited for the server...and waited...and waited...and waited. When she FINALLY came back out, she walked up and put the check down on the table. As I was trying to order dessert, she just walked away. So, we just got up, paid and left. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is really nice, but the service was absolutely pathetic. We will NOT return thanks to Ms "I'd rather goof off in back than take care of customers". It's a shame. The food was actually pretty good. read more

I was in El Paso for 6 years so naturally I stopped by and ordered from the menu got verde enchiladas and a birria pizza. I ordered to go and went out to my car to eat since I'm traveling. The enchilada and rice was cold already and everything on that side was cold which is crazy because I just got it. Temp is huge and the food was so very bland even with the sauce. Then I moved over to the birria pizza. The orange hot sauce had a nice kick I wish the birria pizza was a little crispier and I felt like they used American cheese. Kinda threw me off but it wasn't bad and the orange sauce kinda saved it. Chips and house salsa was meh.... Server was cool tho can't complain about him. Well I guess I'll add to all the other great reviews :) I had Juan for my waiter. He was attentive without being overbearing. I was on a bit of a time crunch but. Didn't tell him that and he was still on point. My margarita and my California burrito were delicious (he still checked my ID, God bless him it was super dead in there and I'm very clearly over 21 but it was professional and appreciated). My only let down was it says there's outdoor seating and it wasn't set up. That was the reason I chose this restaurant honestly. But the seating is still really nice and clean. Almost has a sports bar feel to it, very well lit and not dark and narrow inside like a lot of Mexican restaurants can be. I will be back for sure :) read more

No real flavor to anything Chips, we'll, they might as put a bag of Tostitos from Walmart on the table, not traditional corn chips. You probably ask, why did you eat it? Not the best location or building, inside is older and just kinda worn. Not sure how else to explain it. BUT, we received great service. I do not understand the glowing reviews. This was by far the worst Mexican food I've ever had. None of the meat is seasoned at all. I literally had to pour the salsa (for the chips) over my entire plate to have any resemblance of seasoning. The food came out in less than 5 minutes and that's not a good thing. Obviously they have this crap sitting around waiting to pour their disgusting watered down cheese all over it. It was cold and just gross. Yuk!!!!! Do not waste your money. You will regret it. My husband ate two bites and said nope. I ate more cause I was very hungry and paid for it later when I threw it all up. Clearly the health department needs to make a visit. read more

Been there twice now and both times was exactly the same, in a good way. Burrito Bandera is my go-to and is awesome. Chips and salsa is good, and rice and beans are good. Horchata is great which is rare. Margaritas are good. It's rare to get good food AND good drinks at the same place. Service was efficient and perfectly fine. I used to get chimichangas all the time but decided to get a flight of tacos one night. I learned that I love tacos! Mexican street style tacos! Chorizo especially. So I've got to tell everyone about El Paso! It may look rinky dinky on the outside but it's nice on the inside. It's attached to a Motel? That's what steered us away the first time. After looking at pictures we decided it give it a shot a few weeks later. WELL we've never stopped coming since! I found out I was pregnant a couple of months ago. I had their frozen margaritas once. Last week my family stopped here on our way to South Carolina for a funeral. Seeing as the restaurant was attached to a motel gave everyone the eyebrow raise, but I knew better! The food was outstanding and reasonably priced; it was mid-afternoon so we were the only ones eating which is fine by me! Seriously my favorite food since moving here in March. Food always comes out super fast and piping hot and the flavors are incredible! Huge portions and cheap to boot. I spend $9 and get 3 meals out of a visit. Drinks are also super cheap with a really awesome happy hour--my husband got a pint for under $3. Ambiance is super understated and casual and I've never seen more than 3 other seated groups there--no need to dress up when you're this good. What more can you ask for?! read more

We live a short distance down the road but had never stopped in until tonight. The chips are thin and crispy and served warm, and the salsa has a good flavor. Our meal was out quick and hot. All 3 ordered something different, talmales, fajitas, and quesadillas, and all 3 were very good. The draft Dos Equis was 2 for 1, which was a great bargain, and the Sangria was very good. I didn't ask if it was made in-house, but I'm pretty sure it is. We were sitting right under a speaker but still able to carry on conversations without raising our voices.
