It's my opinion that La Patrona is the best Mexican Restaurant in Freeport. A couple of shout outs off the menu. The Queso Fundido is a must. It's absolutely delicious and has resulted in playful table fighting over whom gets the last of it. It comes with tortillas, but we like to dip chips in it. My favorite meal is the Enchiladas Suizas. They're so delicious with a great sauce and the beef and chicken was always flavorful. My lady's favorite is the Pollo Loco. She likes it so much that if I had to order for her, I know that I can get this and not have to worry that she won't love it. It's a total win. The only issue I have with El Patrona is that it can get very loud, and it makes it hard to have a conversation with others at your table. Other than that, it's a great restaurant with amazing food.
