The service it's really really bad if what to save a bad experience don't go to this place you're going to waste your money time and most important energy.... El servicio es pesimo no vuelvo a venir te atienden con mucho ego como si ellos te van a aser el favor de venderte comida

Ambiance was nice, clean, and the music was not too loud. Service was great, very attentive. And the dood was delicious. Guacamole was perfect, the chips are homemade, horchata is the best in Colorado. This gem is right down the street from Children's hospital on Colfax near my home and I was missing out! Best Mexican food in Colorado!

First off, walking in the staff was warm and friendly. the restaurant was clean and spacious (after a few minutes it was packed) I was very excited to see a menu (traditional ) from Sinaloa where the owners are from. The menu is kinda big but once you manage to figure it out or ask the friendly staff to help you order. We went on Sunday for breakfas (outstanding) I think it was called El Plato de Mi Tia. Fantastic!!! To wash it down I had the horchata... hands down the best I have ever tasted!!! Monday we went back for lunch ( not as busy) We ordered Tortas, Carne Asada and Pibil. Holy Gumoly people, I can't say how delicious they were. We will definitely be going back when we visit from Texas. This place a true Gem. 10 out of 10!!

Our minds were absolutely blown by this place! HEAPING amounts of toe spreading-good food. You will not find better tostada dishes anywhere in Denver. This place is as authentic as it gets! Tostadas sinaloensas de res, paired with a delicious cantarito Tacos de birria, paired with legit homemade horchata Tostadas cueta, paired with a HUGE michelada Carne en su jugo, paired with a craft margarita de mi ama Omelette light, paired perfectly with a classic but boozy mimosa BEST GUACAMOLE IN DENVER. Why? The addition of asadero cheese makes for such a light, refreshing take that puts it above all others Shout out to Isabel and Katia for taking such good care of us.

You know you've found a winner when everyone at the table goes silent while eating except for occasional muttering of "Oh my God...." Please see attached photo of biggest cauldron of queso fundido I've ever been served. Their menu features things I've never seen on a Mexican menu before, like liver fajitas, as well as lots of things everyone knows like flautas and enchiladas. I am super excited about the fact that they do breakfast all day... it's just a shame they aren't really open during breakfast hours! Perhaps that'll change once the pandemic is under control.

We visited from out of town and loved everything about this place. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend!

Just ok. They don't speak English here. Service was weird and very slow. Birria tacos are 3 for $16 - no sides. The beef dip was bland. The appetizer soup was tomato sauce and macaroni noodles. Just weird. No chips and salsa. The pace seemed clean enough but we won't be back. I've had much better tacos and service for much better price.

First time. The makeover is beautiful.

We ate at La Machaca de mi Ama right before the shutdown. I had been waiting for over a year for this new restaurant to open as Lupita's (the previous restaurant) has been one of my favorites. The makeover is beautiful and the food is totally different from Lupita's and very delicious. The liquor license had not been secured yet so I could not taste a margarita. However, the Sinaloa style food was delicious. Tortillas are handmade and so good. I will be going back soon to make sure the 4 star review is still good but in this day and age, they earned a star for opening days before a pandemic.

The chips & salsa but, specifically the cabbage salsa, are enjoyable staples. The tortilla soup is also a must have. Sometimes, I just grab the soup plus chips & salsa. I like the soup because it's hearty and full of fresh ingredients. This time we enjoyed tostadas, street tacos, & green chile stew along with the standard refried beans & Spanish rice. And we didn't forget the alcoholic libations, rounding it out with margaritas and Corona. There are no complaints here. The food is always on point. The restaurant itself is always clean, welcoming, & prepared for a good time. The staff are always friendly & attentive. I also enjoy the entertainment playing in the screens & the nights with the mariachi. They are available on the food delivery app, too.

It's served with guacamole, pico de gallo, beans, and rice. I'm not a big fan of beans, so I usually ask for extra rice instead. The carne asada has a wonderful grilled aroma and taste, and the portions are always generous--there's usually enough left over for a doggy bag. The staff is quick and very friendly, and the menu has plenty of great options to choose from.

The street taco plate was delicious and you can't go wrong with the carnitas. The Burrito smothered in green chile was also fantastic and the pickled onions and queso Fresca elevated some different notes. Right now, the Venalonzo margarita is at the top of my list, only to be topped by the house margarita at El Camino in Missoula, Montana. Weird I know, but if you know, you know.

For two people, ordered a set of 3 tacos (2x barbacoa and carnitas) and then another 3 tacos (asada, carnitas, and pastor), birria egg rolls, and a bean, cheese, and rice burrito. Not a big deal but they put all the tacos in one box and I was able to differentiate which 3 tacos that I ordered. This place is super stingy with salsa. They gave me 2 tiny containers for salsa and then when I asked for a couple more, the lady said she could only give me two more. :( Excited to try the food and started off great with a simple bean, cheese, and rice burrito but outside of that everything else was very meh. Not sure how but all the meats were so dry, I ordered braised/slow cooked meats (barbacoa and carnitas). Asada and pastor were okay as well. Everything lacked seasoning and the salsa didn't add much to the tacos either. Birria tacos were also dry and consommé needed salt to be added. Value was not bad at $37.64. Tacos were about $3-3.20 per
