The food was good, particularly for airport food. The service was super fast! Best of all, our server/cashier Guy was a true gem. He was so charming and upbeat, it really made our day. We had the croque monsieur with ham, it was crispy and delicious. Our teen had the tomato basil soup and declared it good. We shared the lemon coconut cake which was good but very sweet. Would definitely stop by again!

Fast food gets really old when you are traveling. Thank goodness for this gem in the Phoenix airport. I've never been to this part of the terminal, but I was captured by the effervescent sound of a young man letting travelers know that they had "real" food. I chose the chicken crosaint sandwich. It was amazing! And Darius, the voice of the "real" food was a delight. I will be back.

Grilled cheese, extra cheesy!

We loved Guy, our point person at the register. From his friendly Bonjour! to his offering to personally deliver our tea and sandwiches, he turned an otherwise mundane airport experience into a party. Epic cheesy grilled cheese loved by my son, had to tip twice. We'll be back. Anyone wanting to learn how to treat stressed out airport travelers should take a master class from Guy. Magnifique!

Literally the last bite because we ate it so fast! Yum!

Tyra was wonderful to us! Made a tired family with littles feel special! The turkey croque monsier was delicious! The portion was great too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute little French spot in the airport![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Next time we'll get some dessert!! That cheesecake looked amazing!

This is a great pastry shop located in the Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix. They have a large selection of pastries, and the staff is amazing. The staff suggested a great pastry, and they warmed my pastry in the oven. If you're looking for a pastry or something to eat at Sky Harbor Airport, this is a great option.

Food was good at the Airport level. I liked the turkey monsieur croquet. More than that was the service. The staff was friendly and cared as if they owned the business. I always appreciate the pride and attention to detail people have for what they do.

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. My only complaint is that I'm only spending one evening in the Phoenix area, and won't be back soon. I would eat this food three times a week without hesitation.

My daughters came with pear spiced bread - tasted like raisin bread - none of us cared for it. Service was good. Not a place we would go back to. I do like that all salads could be turned in to a wrap. The drink menu looked fun. Cute atmosphere- you should secure a reservation.

"Move over, coffee. Today is a job for champagne."…read more Oh yeah, we brunchin'! A bunch of us from my spin class decided to get together for a farewell brunch for one of the gals in my Cycle class. She's a snow bird, coming to Arizona for the cooler months, and was headed home for the summer. I ordered the Bloody Goode Time ($14), shared the Porch Teatime ($45) with the table, and I ordered the Porch's Famous Mac + Cheese ($12, cavatappi pasta, four-cheese blend, with toasted parmesan bread crumbs). I had their Bloody Goode Time at their DT Gilbert location and enjoyed it so much that I got it again. It's a super savory drink that feels like a meal in itself. The Porch Teatime, we had green tea shots instead of Jamesame orange, came in a tiny teapot the server poured out into six tiny tea cups. It was adorable. As for the Porch's Famous Mac + Cheese, it was good! The portion size is just right with no leftovers in sight. Never a bad experience at The Porch!

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. There's also a large parking lot, lots of outdoor seating, and even a dog park area, which makes it really easy to spend time here. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

I was in on a Monday morning, so there were very few other customers, but I bet it gets slammed on the weekends. My husband and I found this place online, and it looked like a great spot for brunch. When we arrived, there was no one at the hostess stand, and it took quite a while for anyone to acknowledge us. When the hostess finally came over, we asked for a table for two. She immediately told us there was only outdoor seating available and didn't even mention that waiting for an indoor table was an option. Keep in mind, it was 110°F on a Sunday in Arizona. My husband had really been looking forward to trying this place, so we asked what was available and decided to stay. We were seated outside near the entrance. Shortly afterward, we watched the hostess tell other guests who arrived after us that indoor seating was available with only a 5-minute wait. Why wasn't that option offered to us? We absolutely would have waited. Unfortunately, the hostess's attitude and the way the situation was handled completely changed the experience for us. It left us feeling unwelcome, and we weren't able to enjoy our meal the way we had hoped. The food may have been fine, but customer service is a huge part of dining out, and this experience overshadowed everything else. Safe to say, we won't be returning. An unfriendly and dismissive environment is not something I'm interested in supporting.

There is plenty of bar space if you're popping in for a drink.. of course, the actual bar that runs along the shelves of liquor, and there is also a bar on the other side of a roll-up door, perfect for people who come with dogs. There's also a bar space that runs along the window that separates the small dining room and the patio. There are a few tables inside as well as some bigger tables on the patio. The patio is nice with lots of shrubs right outside the rail. The murals on the wall are pretty darn cool - - they're like enlarged historic photos of the area. I love them! And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Great bar food and a good selection of beers. What's not to love?

Loved this place!…read more First, we had to change our reservation, and the host could not have been nicer. On a busy Saturday night, he graciously allowed us to push it back by an hour, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed. The jungle theme, leopard prints, intimate booths, and dramatic overhead lighting created a fun, unique atmosphere. The service was excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was a hit. My son said it may have been the best steak tartare he's ever had (although neither of us was a fan of the plantain chips). It was certainly the best tartare I've had in a very long time, with generous chunks of high-quality steak instead of being overly minced. The baked brie dip was outstanding, the grilled oysters were excellent, and my New York strip was cooked perfectly. My only small criticism is that the oyster appetizer came with just three oysters. For a $19 appetizer, I'd love to see at least four. An even number also makes sharing much easier, although my son generously let me have the extra one! Overall, this is a fantastic concept with great food, great service, and a memorable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

We were seated right next to the big stuffed leopard which was fun. Our waitress was super personable but there were a few service mistakes. My entree was missing the potatoes it was supposed to come with. And when they boxed my meal, they didn't include everything like the salad and chimichurri sauce. Luckily I checked and was able to get everything added, but staff shouldn't be neglecting or throwing away part of my meal. I would definitely come back here though as the ambience and food were top notch!
