First, the young man at the counter of this Roosevelt Row place is a joy! So helpful and friendly. It seems like he really likes where he works and the food that serve. When you walk in there is a large photo of a Mafia guy--definitely sticks with the theme of this place. There is a small dining room with a huge photo of their food truck, where it all started in Chicago. There is also a cute neon "gangster." We ordered an American Burger, a Shroom Burger, and a Big Mack salad (chopped lettuce dressed with thousand Island, topped with two hamburger patties, cheese, pickle, and sesame seeds). We really liked the burgers and salad a lot. The buns are so good. We got fries, and they were nothing to write home about. Drinks are sold in the can, and there is a big variety to choose from. We were in the area for a concert, and wanted to find a new place to eat! Saw this on Google and we decided to try it out, we got a parking right when we pulled up on a Sunday evening. I could honestly see that it could be difficult to find a parking on weekdays at lunch time! But the "Godfather" would not eat here! The ambiance and presentation were not quite there for us. Honestly I felt out of place after we ordered and turned he corner, there were hardly no tables to open and the people sitting in the tables with the pull out chairs were blocking the booths to sit in, they were watching a basketball game that was literally from 2017!! Came here for lunch and it smelled delicious so many options everything sounded so yummy. My friend and I got the jalapeño popper burger, which was so delicious. We also got some. I think they're a jalapeño fries or gangster fries. Those were probably one of my favorite side items. We also got their appetizer, which was some type of cauliflower. My sister got the Shroom Burger with the sweet potato fries and I got the Gyro Burger. She really enjoyed her burger and thought the fries were great. I thought the Gyro Burger was good.
