A good brewery spot in the airport. They have some good food as well and good seating area.

Oh Jeffrey! I just love pleasant people! I also love to know what I'm getting myself into before I start. As i ordered my mimosa, Jeffrey asked if I wanted a double or a single... of course in my sailors voice I asked for a double! Jeffrey let me know I had to finish my drink in the area of the restaurant. I couldn't take it with me. I was like ok no problem, sat down enjoyed a sandwich and my mimosa. This restaurant is directly in front of gate 8, the gate I was traveling from. I could drink comfortably while making sure I didn't miss my flight. Perfect location to enjoy as many mimosas as the heart desire. The ambiance is nice! even in a noisy airport, the music was playing at a nice volume. Airport food, am I right? I've walked by here many times but today I stopped. I'm glad I did. Have you ever had a Monte Cristo? I have, and most places seem to have a difficult time doing it right. Not here. They use their house batter which I assume is also what they use for the chicken and waffles (next time!). Perfectly fried and the right proportions of meats and cheeses. Hard to beat this place for a bite to eat inside of the airport. Since Phoenix is a common layover for us I've been here a couple times. Solid place at a reasonable price. I mean, it's about the same as what we pay at home for a burger and a beer. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to while taking our order. She poured our beers immediately, so we could enjoy them while we waited for food. The seating area is pretty small, but easy enough to find a spot to sit and relax. The food came out pretty quick and looked really good. I got the AZ burger and my wife got the Pilgrim sandwich. Both were really good. I was glad to have a bite of her Pilgrim sandwich, turkey and cranberry is always great. It was a bit odd to me that it was on a croissant, but made for a great rich sandwich. The burger was cooked perfectly, still a bit of pink in the middle. The jalapeno cream cheese and the poblano aoili were delicious, just the right amount of spice to make me want to keep going back for more. The fried onions added a nice texture to balance out the cream cheese. I know I'll be here again because its the best food in that terminal and our regional flights always come through here. read more

We were INCREDIBLY disappointed in their service. When in the airport, service and speed are crucial and this location failed. It took 22 mins to get a garden burger almost missing the flight. We even asked if it was being served and would take long, to an answer of no. I asked several times what was taking so long and we really needed our food, which the rude employee shared it was coming acting impatient with us that we would ask. The chile burger has a promising flavor profile and is pretty thick, but still the bun dominates and my burger was seriously overcooked; perhaps next time they can cook to order? There are a variety of beer selections. The music, though, is annoying: heavy metal blaring so loud I can still hear it several gates away. Fries are thin and came out nice and hot. Grabbed lunch at OHSO Brewery in the Phoenix Airport while waiting for delayed flight. Got the Popsicle Blonde beer because it sounded interesting- definitely an acquired taste but I enjoyed it. It's a beer but tastes like part cider, part beer, part raspberry lemonade. Like a melted popsicle I suppose. Entree was traditional buffalo wings and they sure don't skimp on those! 12 large wings fried perfectly and doused in a slightly spicy, vinegary, flavorful traditional buffalo sauce. I think they also have BBQ. The staff was nice, there are limited seats but it's an airport so that's expected. Would definitely visit again to try more of the local beers. read more

So standard airport prices for decent food but we did enjoy our sandwich. We chose the Pilgrim with turkey and bacon. The sandwich and fries were really good. Unfortunately, as soon as we sat down we noticed that they had a smaller special sign for a Montecristo but it was too late. I bet it would be good too. The person that was taking orders seemed very nice and I saw her interact very positively with everyone else. Just as I was going to be next and place my order some gal comes out from the back and takes my order. She offers me chips or fries with my sandwich. When I ask her if the chips are home made or the bags on the shelf she clearly did not understand or hear me. When i ask a second time she looked at me like I was stupid, and I felt stupid, and pointed to the shelf of chips. Nope I'll take the fries! I was happy to see an OHSO location at the airport. Seating is very limited and there is only counter service. They have a good selection. I got the breakfast sandwich which was on sourdough toast. It was good, but not great. The "potato hash" was pretty bland - just dry tiny cubes. Ketchup helped. But the portions were good size. Service was good. Stopped by for a quick breakfast before my flight. I ordered the breakfast bowl with bacon and a bottled water. The total came to $17. Pretty expensive for 2 eggs a slice of bacon, some potatoes and a spoonful of guacamole and some water. It tasted good but the guacamole was disappointing. The avocados that they used were under ripe and hard. Half of The spoonful of guacamole ended up being a big chunk of hard avocado. Overall I'd say it's way overpriced but you are paying for the convenience of eating at the airport. If you are hungry before your flight then it might be worth it. read more

Not bad for an airport venue for lunch. The BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger burger was cooked to medium rare as requested and they do give you a LOT of fries. I got it lettuce-wrapped so I can comment on the bun. Several people around me got the Fried Chicken and Waffles which is an enormous portion. Manager on duty was extremely sweet and helpful, food was delicious once we got it! The girl with one job (blue hair, pretending to be an alternative kid with too much eyeliner) is to check the food tickets, verify the food matches the correct ticket, and call out that number. However she failed to do that correctly. When I provided her with my receipt she looked at me doe-eyed as if I was speaking another language. I asked her if she could get it made as it looked like someone either took our food or they missed making it. She said it'll be a bit & I said that's ok. 40 mins later our food came out & I asked if we could get a drink on the house or something for our trouble. Due to laws complimentary drinks are a no-go but the MOD was happy to comp one of the meals. The girl on the other hand decided it was ok to say "oh she's trying to get something for free just because she had to wait" no...no...I'd like compensated because you are incapable of doing your job, a snob, who should not be allowed to be front facing customers. I stopped in on a layover in PHX. Ordered an 89 Ale and an Angry Bird (fried chicken, Buffalo sauce, blue cheese) sandwich, served with fries. The lady at the counter did not exemplify the airport slogan of "America's Friendliest Airport" in the least, but she took my order and didn't mess it up, so that's a plus. The beer (24 oz) was delicious. The sandwich and fries were also very good. The total was $27.15. All in all not bad for airport prices. The employee was the only reason not given 5 stars. I'd definitely eat here again. Tip: if you want ranch or blue cheese, order it with your food. It's only 81¢ but they don't tell you that when you order, so if you want it after getting your food, you've got to stand in line, again. 2nd Tip: apparently their bloody Mary's are good. Very disappointed. The buffalo chicken dip is NOTHING like how it is in the restaurants. The restaurants have shredded chicken that blends together with its creamy buffalo sauce and cheeses. This one had watery buffalo sauce with chunks of cream cheese, and chunks of chicken. The person helping me at the register was so expressionless it was concerning. When I walked up she was staring at her phone, didn't even look up at me until I said hi. Still didn't say anything when she say me, just waited for me to order. The ONLY words she spoke to me were "$15.20." I felt like I was bothering her by being there. In her defense, she could have been having a rough day. The food was fine, but as our country rages with wild fires and floods, they insisted on putting everything in plastic to go containers and putting our food and condiments into a plastic bag. We were eating there. At the airport. When I told them I didn't need the plastic bag, they said it was what they wanted to put everything into. I told them they could have it and they told me that they would have to throw it away anyway because they can't use it, despite the fact that I hadn't even opened anything. Maybe these other reviewers visited during peak pandemic, or perhaps they were just cranky from traveling, but we had a great experience. Our wait was minimal, the gentleman who helped us at the counter was super friendly and fun, and the Arizona burger was fantastic. We split that and an order of chicken and waffles because, waffles. I will say the chicken was mediocre but the waffles were soft and fluffy on the inside with the right amount of crunch on the outside. We also tried the Boom IPA and the Pop-cycle blondie. Bother we're delicious, the IPA was bright and flavorful but not too hoppy. The blonde was light and sweet. Keep in mind this is a counter service restaurant with limited table space so that can be a challenge. All in all, a great airport experience. read more

the 2.5 average stars before i visited there in a pinch would be fair at best. I was 2nd in line and still waited 40 minutes for my order. I ordered the Angry Bird. They might as well call it the Angry Customer because that's s about what it made me. By appearance it looked fine but it tasted of old fried oil, and cooked at probably sub-par temperatures. the batter was dark, the chicken was thin and split somewhere in the middle so all i got was a bunch of bun in the middle. I arrived to any empty restaurant and was quite excited that I would get prompt service. Walked up to the register and ordered the OHSO classic breakfast. I mentioned to the employee that I would like an orange juice. Her co-worker said the drink would be located in the front refrigerator. There was no oj. They just looked at me clueless. So I asked if there was any orange juice and they said " I guess not". I paid and she handed me a number. I walked over to the restaurant next door Zook Z, they had orange juice. I purchased one and went back to sit down. By this point the place started to get packed. Again I was content that I placed my order before everyone showed up. I noticed other ppl started to get their food and I was thinking how is that possible. I showed the register girl my number and she said she would check. Then she came back and said it would be out momentarily. Still nothing after another 5 min. finally another employee showed up with my order in a togo bag and box which I didn't ask for. I love OHSO. This was not even close to what ohso is. My husband got the chicken and waffles. This is something we frequently order at their normal locations. At this location, it was pre packaged overly sweet waffles, chicken tenders and nearly raw bacon. The green Chile burger was ok but not worth the price. We were super excited that the ohso had moved to terminal 4 and I was so disappointed after trying this. read more
