We already love La Grande Orange, so we had to come here when we needed lunch at Sky Harbor. There was a warmer where you can just grab a pizza in a box and pay, but you can also get pizzas and sandwiches made to order. There is a coffee counter with bakery, too. We decided to eat dessert first and ordered gelato, one vanilla and one chocolate. We split a papering pizza that we grabbed from the warmer. It was not, of course, as good as a freshly made pizza, but it was still pretty dang yummy. We paid around $38 for one 12 inch pizza, two cups of gelato, and a bottle of water.

Potato, bacon, egg & cheese breakfast burrito. Good drip coffee.

I was in need of coffee and sustenance early this morning before a flight to Indianapolis. Terminal 4's D gate has limited options but La Grande Orange looked most promising and convenient. I'd visited other locations years ago so I decided to give it a go. I settled on a Potato, bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito. There was a selection of them pre-made this morning on a rack so I grabbed one and headed to the counter to pay and grab a coffee. Obviously any time you decide to eat at the airport you're going to overpay but you already know that going in. At $15 this was a pricy burrito and with coffee came out to over $20. Having said that, I have to say it was a really quite tasty burrito along with some salsa. The coffee was just what the doctor ordered so overall I really won't complain since it all fit the bill. At this hour the terminal wasn't terribly busy so it was a pleasant enough time sitting at a table to eat. Service was ok, nothing out of the ordinary but friendly. Not much on ambiance but again it's the airport and it does what you need it to do. 3.5 stars bordering on 4 since I did enjoy the food and coffee.

Off to vaca, needed some food before the flight. Of course over priced airport food. Ordered California burger which came with fries. Order comes with fries which was soggy... . Burger is fresh made to order which was nice. Burger itself was not too bad. Definitely not worth the price for what you get. If the burger and fries were around $8 I would have been happy. I would save my money and pass this place next time. Staffs were very friendly which was good.

I'm glad they have this spot at the airport! I've been to their location in Phoenix before, and their pizza and coffee are always good. This time, I grabbed a sandwich, and it was really good fresh and flavorful. A great option for a quick and tasty bite while traveling.

Wonderful service by Milo at the location at the D date, this is the second time I've been through and she's such a sweetheart. I got a quad espresso over ice with mocha and fat-free milk on the side and it's perfect for those who like coffee forward flavors!

Here is the beans they put on my burger I ordered.

Food was just horrid, they put refried beans in my burger even though that's not what I ordered and the put pineapple in my fries. Don't ever come here it's just a scam airport restaurant plus the brother's beef was here again.

They didn't have a couple of the items that were on the menu. This isn't what I wanted and it was hot in here.

I have heard about La Grande Orange from a lot of friends and finally made it in this past weekend. The store is set up like a grocery store when you walk in, but also has a dine in area, coffee bar, and counter where you can order all of your food at. We had the Kale & Quinoa salad which was very refreshing and had an excellent texture to it. The Kale/Quinoa & Sunflower seeds gave it the perfect crunch. I was excited to try their pizza as I have seen some great reviews and didn't believe for myself that the pizza would live up to the hype. It was amazing, and the crust was delicious too. If there was a little less grease on the pizza I would say 10/10!! I am excited to try some of their other fresh food and the coffee bar as well.

This is at airport location, bought a simple cappuccino to drink before flight. I had 30 min After waiting almost 10 minutes while there where is was no line, then got the drink super hot, boiling hot , after sitting by gate, being 3rd group to board this expensive drink is not drinkable yet !!! Waste of money and time. Don't get your coffee here.

What a disappointing sandwich. I got this turkey and cheese sandwich with avocado. For 19 bucks, I expected better. It has avocado but it was dark. The lettuce was fresh though but it didn't have much mayo. I was bummed with the quality of this sandwich. Wouldn't recommend.

Decent airport food. Pepperoni pizza was very salty (which may be what you like). It was cheesy and huge pieces of pepperoni over a very thin crust covered with cheese. 3.5 stars. Chicken Caesar salad: romaine lettuce was fresh and sweet. Too much Parmesan and chicken pieces (some of you may like this). Dressing was good. I wished they offered it with or without chicken because I ended up throwing most of the chicken away.

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. My only complaint is that I'm only spending one evening in the Phoenix area, and won't be back soon. I would eat this food three times a week without hesitation.

I special ordered my chiliquiles without chicken with no issues. The waitress even offered to check on the sauce to see if there were any animal based broths in the recipe. The dish was so flavorful topped with sour cream, and very fresh tomatoes and green onions in the salsa. The tortilla chips were perfectly done not soggy like they can get if not prepared carefully. I ordered my eggs scrambled and they were very cheesy and so delicious. I ordered a single pancake as pancakes are my favorite breakfast food. I can say it was perfectly fluffy and tasty and I am picky about my pancakes. My husband ordered a California Omelet he said it was absolutely delicious with very fresh vegetables. His exact words were this was night and day from the first time we came. I am so happy to say that we will definitely be returning, confidently bring out of state visitors, and recommend this cute diner to others. For locals I noticed they offer a day with 20% for students and faculty at ASU. I am very pleasantly surprised by the difference from the first experience. The management was very respectful and receptive. I appreciate it so much when a business can work to make things right. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast experience I really wanted to like this little brunch place in the Novus Plaza. As a vegetarian it is often hard to find good choices at a standard restaurant. Usually breakfast, brunch style is the best for me because I still eat dairy and eggs. I can't tell you how disappointed I was with the food. The menu was cute and had trendy food from their "As Seen on TV" menu from TV shows featuring certain recipes. I had high hopes as the reviews have been overall good. So after searching the menu for a good vegetarian choice I could only find pancakes and had to order my protein * scrambled eggs separately to fill out my meal. Saying the quality of my food was horrendous is an understatement. I haven't seen burnt pancakes since I was making them myself at 10 years old. Not only did they burn them but they served them to me that way. The cook obviously realized it because he put the worst burnt one on the bottom of the stack. I was so hungry so I tried to eat them but just couldn't yuck. . I enjoyed my scrambled eggs and watched my husband enjoy his bisuits and gravy which he said was decent. The server (singular) was so busy. He was running the bar area and the tables. Not totally his fault but he didn't get back to check on us until my husband had almost finished his entire meal and I still had burnt pancakes. He offered to get me something else but there was nothing else on the menu for me and the experience put me off of pancakes. The menu online looked like it had many more choices maybe the Tempe restaurant limited their menu, I'm not sure. I ended up getting a refund for my pancakes and going home hungry. The restaurant itself was adorable, it had a retro-ish vibe and the server really was trying to get to the 4 or 5 tables that had customers at the time.

I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Great bar food and a good selection of beers. What's not to love?

Extensive whiskey and tequila bottle list and plenty of good beers on tap which is great. I also…read morereally enjoyed the 2 cocktails I had-- a whiskey sour iteration and highball. Cocktails were made well, I'd come back and try others. Our friends suggested The Hudson which worked for me, it's been sitting on my list for a while. Bar food was pretty good. Next time I'll try a burger since people like them a lot in reviews, and I love a good burger. This visit we had the carne asada cheesesteak with some onion rings and boneless wings. Both items were good. I think for me, 4 stars seems right since there's an element of having to order at the bar and then come back up if anything is needed. Making it feel somewhat self service but I'm sure we tipped like full service. And at first we were trying to figure out the menu, where to order, and apparently we had a learning curve that night. Brains were tired. We sat outside with the misters at night. That was totally fine. It wasn't one of the nasty hot days.

This was the only steakhouse I visited in Phoenix, so I might be a little biased, but I can…read moreconfidently say this was my favorite meal of the entire weekend! From the moment we arrived, the restaurant had such great vibes. There was also a subtle, almost secretive animal theme throughout the space that added a really cool touch. The hostess and waitstaff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The drinks were good, but the food was definitely the star. The milk bread was absolutely delicious, and the pibil dumplings were also really good. My only complaint is that they only came with three pieces, which felt a little expensive for the portion. The beef tartare was another standout. It was delicious on its own and paired really well with the banana chip, which added a nice contrast in texture and flavor. I would probably skip the white oak grilled skewers, though. They were pretty burnt, and unfortunately, they didn't really stand out to me compared to the other dishes. The ribeye was cooked to absolute perfection. We asked if they could prepare the two halves of the ribeye at different temperatures since my wife prefers her steak closer to medium, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. They even comped our milk bread because it took a little longer than expected to come out, which was a really nice gesture. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. Great atmosphere, fantastic service, and some really memorable dishes. Definitely recommend checking this steakhouse out if you're in the Phoenix area!
