Hard cortadillo breas very disappointed was looking forward to having it.

When I walked in first thing I ask the lady was do you accept apple pay? She responded with another question, "its your first time here?" Like what the... obviously if Im asking its because I had never been here, anyways my husband was craving cortadillo bread which we had on our vacation back in Mexico. Bread tasted like a rock! He just bit it and that was it not soft at all, I tasted it too and was very disappointed. Most likely will not be coming back... threw it in the garbage.

My fave spot for tamales. I've only had the chicken and pork tamales and they are generous in portion. The meat to masa ratio is on point. If you need a large order of tamales I recommend calling them 3 days ahead. They also conveniently offer some quick grocery items.

Hands down my favorite place to stop and eat my favorite tamales and pan dulce. Everything tastes good, fresh and delicious. You will come back for more. Their carrot cake is the best. I've had in a while. They have great customer service.. no dinner in.

My favorite place for fresh bolillo! Their champurrado is also the best on cold mornings. Definitely better texture and flavor than other bakeries around town. The conchas and conchitas are very good, but they have to be fresh. We scored some unique colors a few days ago, we think they may have made too many for a gender reveal event since they were bright blue and bright pink. I appreciate them enforcing the policy of no more that 5 people at a time in the store and their contactless card reader feature when you pay. **Tip!!** you can call ahead and order your champurrado, and they'll have it ready for you! It does sell out.

I come here for their TAMALES! i especially love the chicken tamal.... i take it to work and everyone loves it! This place is clean, staff are helpful. They offer some variety -- baked goods, tamales, juices, beverage, sliced fruits!!

Pretty good tacos de cabeza. I recommend you try them, you can always ask for the salsa on the side.

They charged $0.80 per pink box when I bought pastries. That's shady. Won't be giving them my business anymore.

Starting with the Supercharger, this was easily the standout of the two. It's loaded with roast beef, bacon, turkey, ham, salami, pepperoncini, tomatoes, red onions, gouda cheese, and chipotle aioli on a ciabatta roll. They definitely don't skimp on the meat, which makes it super satisfying. The combination of the soft ciabatta and cheese worked really well together and balanced out the heaviness of the meats. My only complaint is that it could've used a bit more sauce, something like extra mustard or mayo would've taken it to the next level. Still, a strong 8.5/10. The Belair was decent but didn't quite hit the same level. It came with turkey breast, bacon, gouda cheese, spring mix, tomatoes, red onions, pepperoncini, and chipotle aioli on fresh sliced sourdough. Ours actually came with American cheese instead of gouda, which slightly changed the flavor profile. It was a good sandwich overall, but noticeably drier, especially with the sourdough, so it definitely needed more sauce to bring everything together. I'd give it a 7.2/10. Service was fast and efficient, which I appreciated. The ambiance stood out too, it has a cool retro gas station vibe that gives the place some personality and makes it feel unique. Staff was friendly, and the overall experience was smooth.

We finally got the chance to check it out. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The Prunedale Market is located along side the highway 101 freeway in the small town of Prunedale. It just takes a few long right turns to get there. Parking is easy and accessible out in the front parking lot. From the front, the market does not look like a popular BBQ spot. It looks like a simple small market store to grab quick snacks and drinks. Once inside there is a BBQ and deli section to your right. A small dining area is to your left. The decor is old fashioned and quaint. The 2 gentlemen greet you with friendly hospitality. We ordered the Tri tip sandwich, half slab of ribs which includes 2 potatoes and a cup of corn chowder. The pit master/owner Martin, who use to work for Original Joe's, was kind enough to also include a quarter chicken leg, a sausage, and extra ribs. It was so much food for our party of 3. Everything was delicious and hearty. The Tri tip sandwich was scrumptious with the flaming Fritos adding a nice crunchy texture and kick with every bite. The ribs were juicy and smokey. Potatoes complemented very well with the rest of the meat and chicken. Corn chowder was so tasty and creamy. I did not know corn chowder was that good. Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Prunedale Market. The staff were super nice and accommodating. They even offered for our son to grab some free ice cream to go. We politely declined. The prices were very reasonable. All that food fed us for the next 2 days. Lol. We hope to be back when we are in the area with other friends and family.

It had a sweet mustard that took the sandwich to another level, and I loved that it came with sprouts. We also got a tasty pickle and piece of an orange on the side. My son really enjoyed his Caesar salad wrap. He said the wrap itself was incredibly soft, the croutons were crunchy, and the chicken was warm, tender, and flavorful. The Caesar dressing was spot on with just the right amount. He usually adds extra dressing to Caesar wraps, but this one didn't need a thing. The service was excellent. We originally asked about the Caesar salad wraps since we didn't see it on the menu, and the cashier kindly let us know they still make it, which was a pleasant surprise. Our food came out quickly, everyone was friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. Overall, we had a wonderful lunch and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you are looking for fresh, delicious sandwiches and great customer service.
