I started shopping approximately a month ago, but I am even more serious now. Keep following as I start another road trip soon. A huge location and selection, both indoor and outdoor. My pictures do NOT do it justice. But I did NOT find that perfect RV; I am close. I guess the newest trend for the B class are portable induction stove tops. Guess it saves counter space...? And the manufacturer $$ which hopefully saves us $$. Ambiance - Again, a HUGE location. If I had more time, it would have been nice to hang out longer. Service - Randy and Susan were both very professional. Price - $130k; reasonably priced for AWD and new. But for that kind of $$, I need to sleep on it. Price 5 stars (couldn't believe what they were charging for a few different travel trailers! We knew we had to snatch one up right then and there! And interest rates were very reasonable!) Sales 3 stars - not the most warming guys out there. Friendly enough to make a sale but there were some very important questions that should have been asked before we purchased the rig that weren't. I accept responsibility for knowing some of things (like if there's actually a hitch on the damn car!) but there are things they should definitely confirm with first time buyers. unibody? The fact that we definitely NEEDED the weight distribution hitch? Thank God the car has a frame and that we asked them to throw in the hitch as part of the deal! But kudos to them for being very patient the day we went and spent an hour deciding if we wanted to buy! Orientation - 6/5 stars. Kevin was incredibly Thorough and knowledgeable especially for someone who's only 19 (almost 20! Happy birthday Kevin!). Answered all of our questions, was very professional and didn't mind repeating himself when needed. He had the hitch installed and set up for us, adjusted the brake controller and had the detail team do a touch up so we brought home a beautiful clean rig! On 6/28/26 we bought a BRAND NEW RV. Our salesman was Zach Chavez! I would not recommend him. He took our $100k and promised us a full detail inside and out. We picked it up 5 days after purchase and several things were broken, damaged, missing and detailing of RV was not done as he assured us. I've emailed and texted him several times and he does NOT responded. He took full advantage of senior citizens!!! We take it into their repair center 8/3 to hopefully get things corrected. DO NOT USE ZACK CHAVEZ IF YOU WANT COMMUNICATION AFTER THEY RECEIVE YOUR MONEY. LaMeza you should do better! And stand behind your sales and vehicles. read more

EVERYONE at this location took great care of me. The salesman, Steve Gudger (916)-205-8404, and his sales partner, Ansel, were fantastic. Steve actually LISTENED to me as he took me through various options. As I mentioned things I liked, and disliked. Each of the following options including the things I'd said I like and excluded the things I didn't. The finance person Veda Hasan was also wonderful explaining to me the various protection options for my new rig. She shared with me about what is covered and isn't in a way that made sense and I could understand. I was spoken to as an intelligent woman who can understand things and comprehend how they work. We decided to take a look at mobile homes/ RV's. We have been looking for the right one for quite sometime. As we walk in we were greeted kindly and asked to see a a gentleman by the name of Alejandro. As we had spoken to him earlier on the website internet. Alejandro had amazing customer service. He was not pushy and was very patient and was very knowledgeable about mobil homes and such. If you are ever in the area and looking for an Rv/ Mobile home ask for Alejandro. He is the best! My husband and I took delivery of a brand new 2025 Revel Sport on August 29th, 2025. By Saturday August 30th, less than 24 hours after taking possession, we had a plumbing leak behind the shower knobs, which caused one of the electrical panels to short out. My husband had just slept in the van once at a rest stop but had not used the shower at all. We reached out to Winnebago customer care, who advised us to reach out to the dealer we bought it from. They also advised us that this is a serious safety issue, as water dripping directly onto the electrical panel can cause a fire. At first, La Mesa in West Sacramento seemed like they would be willing to send us a new OnePlace panel directly, but then the person we were texting with stopped responding, and apparently went on vacation. He never confirmed that he would send us the panel, and he also never offered to have us bring it back to the dealer to get it fixed promptly. We live about 11 hours from this dealer, and flew in to pick it up as it had a great price and also the color we wanted. We would have been willing to drive down if they would be able to fix all of this, but they never offered that. We have been calling that location yesterday and today, and keep getting forwarded to different peoples voicemails and no one seems to be willing or care to help us. As of now, we were able to schedule it at a dealer in our home state to be seen next week, as Winnebago Customer Care advised us to do, but the service is going to take 3 weeks minimum, most due to the availability of the RV technicians in our area. Due to all of this, it sounds like we will have to cancel a 2 week vacation we had scheduled for September as the van is unsuitable and unsafe for camping right now. We tried to give La Mesa a chance to resolve this, but it's been 6 days since we picked up the new RV and there has been no real communication or progress made with this dealer. read more

WE FORCED LaMesa TO BUY BACK OUR DEFECTIVE BRAND NEW 2025 RV!!! We have a story that you are not going to believe, except that we areattaching irrefutable evidence - photos - as proof. We live in Oregon and needed a new RV to be used as our disabled daughter's MEDICAL TRANSPORT vehicle. This new RV was to replace her aging, 2017 Class C RV. We found a 2025 Midwest Auto Design MD4 Class B Coach from LaMesa RV in Sacramento that we wanted to buy. There was a complicated purchasing plan that we were to adhere to when purchasing a vehicle in California when residing in Oregon. I flew to the Oregon/California border where I met "2" menwho picked up the vehicle at LaMesa and drove it to me. After meeting the drivers in Medford,Oregon, I inspected the exterior of the vehicle, signed some papers, jumped into my new RV and made the 5-hour, 300 mile drive to our home near Portland. I did not feel it was necessary to inspect the interior of the RV or any of the RV systems, as we had been assured/guaranteed/promised, in writing, by, Alex, the Sales Manager, that he would do a thorough, final inspection knowing that the RV would be used as a MEDICAL TRANSPORT VEHICLE for our disabled daughter. This is what Alex wrote: "Rest assured; we will ensure that this RV is inspected properly and thoroughly and is safe for you and your family, with special attention made for your daughter." My wife greeted me when I arrived home with our new gorgeous RV. She had everythingpacked up to bring inside of the RV to stock it up. However, as we began putting things away, we were stunned to see some extremely SERIOUS PROBLEMS with the vehicle: 1: The BACK OF THE REAR SOFA was not attached to the frame!! Nuts were all lying on the ground! (See Photos) Had my disabled daughter been sitting on that SOFA, and an accident occur, this could have become a life-threatening situation! 2: The SIDE DOOR SWITCH was dangling by a wire and not inserted into the frame of the door. (See Photo) 3: The CONTROL PANEL WIRING in an upper cabinet was lying loose and all tangled up. (See Photo) 4: The SOFA WOULD NOT RECLINE when the nuts were reattached. 5: The WATER PUMP did not function and there was no way to flush the toilet, use the sink, etc. Unknowingly, I had picked up a DIY (Do It Yourself) RV "kit," not a fully assembled and safe RV! We contacted LaMesa and told them to come and pick up their unacceptable and out-of-safety compliance vehicle immediately. We were connected to their CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON, who is their in-house attorney. (Don't do business where the customer service person is an attorney! RED FLAG!!) We told them that we would STOP PAYMENT on our large deposit if they did not immediately issue us a refund, cancel our loan application and pick up this "piece of junk!" LaMesa met all of our requests and picked up the vehicle a few days later. However, when trying to pull the RV out of our garage, the engine would not start. We had only driven the RV from the driveway into the garage, and in less than a week, the cab battery was dead! We are still "livid" over the unnecessary ordeal/nightmare that LaMesa RV put us through. The team NOT only sold us a defective vehicle that was promised to have been thoroughly inspected, the vehicle was delivered in a condition that could have caused permanent injury or death in the event of a sudden stop or accident. We contacted Midwest Auto Designs before writing this review and were informed in writing that the vehicle left its factory in perfect operating condition, and any problems were created by LaMesa after it was accepted by LaMesa. I suggest you buy your next RV ANYWHERE but at LaMesa Sacramento. They don't keep their promises nor do they follow the most basic of safety guidelines in delivering their RVs. Terrible! BEWARE!! Alejendro in sales will lead you on with full blown lies about the actual availability of RV's (including adds with pictures) of RV's that were either already sold or never in their inventory! He will try every dirty trick possible just to get you to their La Mesa RV store in West Sacramento where they will then try to sell you something else. This "Bait and Switch" tactic is just disgusting! Something seemed a bit off so I pushed for him to go, "put your had on the 2020 RV I want and give me its vin number before I drive 6 hours from my home." He texted back with a picture of a vin# and said that's it! I have all this in texts. Next, he then said in order to hold that vin # RV for you I need a $1,000.00 deposit. After doing my own research I came to find out that this vin# was from 2019 RV and NOT the 2020 that was in his add and he clearly knew I wanted. We reported this issue to "Eric Heart" (Alejandro's sales Manger) who said yes, I sold that 2020 myself. Then he fully backed Alejendro in this deception tactic by saying only, "hey we all make mistakes, are you sure you don't want a 2019 model instead?" I purchased a Road Track slumber in 2021. I've already had to replace the electrical panel one lithium battery the refrigerator the battery that runs the two lithium batteries, various other things. I now have to replace the second lithium battery company in Canada will only send it to a business. The battery cost $2080. La Mesa RV wants to charge me 4000+ equal about $5000 for the one battery to be delivered to them not installed just delivered to them so I can pick it up. Well, it's a long story. I brought my Sprinter in a while ago, two things my generator and my back up camera long delay and sometimes not show back up. As we were gone over seas they had not time restrains, but I did want it done when I get back, no it wasn't ready as promised. On the gen, they totally f--ed up, cut a wire, didn't put it back together, couldn't fix, ended up getting a new gen from a local rv shop, on the rear view camera they said I need a new radio combo, $1,800, nothing worked on the unit, no radio nothing. There was no problem with the radio before, only sporadical delay on rear camera, at times too long to be useful. I took the unit to my local car radio place in, missing ground wire, $100 bucks later it was fixed. I would not go to this place for anything. The new service lady Tara, is awesome, but the service guy who I dealt with and apparently was fired a few days after my experience was awful. I am at the place now for a recall fix, Tara is great but I can't attest to the backroom people. I will NEVER bring my rv here, my previous experiences were terrible. Also I have never been to any dealership that in their waiting room had coffee and even donuts or some munchies, or a machine so you could get something to eat. This place has a coffee machine two flavors, three creamer bottles, a salt bottle, but NO SUGAR, are you serious. Total SHIT. The rv's in their service lot are mostly a $million plus dollar rigs, one customer waiting brought their own munchies. Not even a less then luxury dealer in a small town has such shit waiting room, like Subaru. Are you kidding, a two hour at least waiting for the recall, and there three other people waiting, nothing, no vending machines and no sugar for your coffee. Plenty of crap adverting stuff you could add to your rig, but the hell with waiting customer niceties. NEVER will I come here.Mayra was great though and when I told her about the sugar, she said customers take them like crazy. I Tara opened an rv repair place I would go there. Wow! Where do I start.... Salesman gave total wrong info even though question was fully explained. WRONG vehicle was presented to us for final purchase. Hard to get them to offer solution to problem that salesman didn't give proper information for. Manager of service did great job going through vehicle. Asked if generator was started and working. He said yes it work perfectly. While doing walk through generator would not start because gas tank was below 1/4. Gas tank filled they state everything works. Great RV we bought, but. when we came in for our orientation we had to wait 50 minutes to be seen. why make an appointment if you can't honor it? one of the guys who move the vehicles hit an awning and tore the material and we had to bring it back for a repair. when I was getting on the freeway, the check engine light came on and I couldn't get up to speed. it was an exhaust sensor that was bad and we had to take it in to Mercedes for repair. keep in mind this is a brand new RV. Thought bait and switch sales tactics were gone? no, they are still alive and well and practiced daily by La Mesa RV. In short, I was told by a La Mesa salesperson at the Pleasanton Alameda County Fairgrounds RV show (Jan '25) hosted by La Mesa RV to put a down payment on an RV that I was seriously considering. This deposit would ensure that I had secured the vehicle from sale to anyone else for 24 hours. After completing all the form(s) to do so and providing them a credit card to charge the deposit, the Manager said unequivocally that "He can't do that..." I told him that I would have an answer in 24 hours whether I wanted to purchase the RV based on my overnight review of the vehicle in question. The salesperson said that they do this deposit/purchase for customers RV's regularly, which is why I decided to move forward with a deposit. After taking 2-1/2 hours of my time in moving the transaction forward to post the deposit, the Manager didn't care, nor make any attempt to honor what his salesperson(s) had promised to complete the transaction. He approached the transaction like this rejection was a common occurrence... I would recommend other RV vendors as you simply cannot trust La Mesa, just look at their reviews, they are terrible!!!! I bought. $150K 2025 Midwest heritage. Signed all the purchase agreements .So excited to drive home. Turned on the key and immediately saw a Check Engine Light was On! I quickly jumped off the van flagged down the Steve sale-man. He took pictures said its late bring back tomorrow and they'll take care of it., Brought the van back next day or so, two service managers came out said nothing they can do. I will have to bring the 2025 van to Mercedes Dealership on my own, it's mine now, deal with it! If I don't take it off their lot, they will have it towed! These people are crooks! A white hair flattop manager opened the door pretended to come out to see the van with me, once I got out the door he closed the door behind me and blocked me out with his behind. Cannot believe people like these are put in charge as managers over La Mesa RV in Sacramento! They ought to be ashamed of themselves for treating their customers this way! Do yourself a favor and buy your RV elsewhere that have the RVs vigorously inspected before selling them to customers! These people are only interested in one thing. We bought our RV here last year. As soon as we got our RV we drove it to New York. It was all over the place and I upgraded the suspension and handles really well now. When we got back there's some doors not closing right, some cracks on the wall, some electrical not working but La Mesa worked with Thor and everything was done right. My suggestion to everyone is to use your RV as much as you can in the first year and call La Mesa RV ASAP if there's is something wrong cause it's not easy to get an appointment. I'm happy with La Mesa RV. Always check your RV every now and then cause it's a moving house. Something will always get loose and fail. read more

This one has fallen fast and hard. We paid up for a nice Entegra 24L class C on a Mercedes chassis. In short Mercedes did their this right and Entegra and La Mesa have done one thing wrong after another. Too many items are a complete failure to even enumerate them in detail. DO NOT USE LA MESA FOR SALES OR SERVICE YOU WILL REGRET IT COMPLETELY. We have canceled more trips than we've made since February when we took ownership of the new coach. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and the buck gets passed, shoulders get shrugged and calls are very rarely returned even when we reach out 2-3 times a week. It's been there for 2 full months this time and I have no clue when it will return. This place is a joke. We had a helpful service advisor who is now gone. He was hamstrung by the inept service department management. It has never worked properly and we have never been offered any recourse. It's been one shot show after another dating back to February. I bought an RV, and had problems with the awning and bathroom door. We left the next day for the weekend, and the awning wouldn't open, and the bathroom door wouldn't close. I called three times and emailed them with no response. Today, I called and spoke to a manager. However, he would not give me his name and when I asked again he hung up on me. I called back again and was treated the same way (he hung up again). I Love the RV, but dislike the customer service. This was my 2nd RV I bought from LaMesa in Sacramento, and it will be my last. I DO NOT RECOMEND THESE THIEVES! They sold me a class C that had a broken GPS AND RADIO. THE GPS WAS STUCK ON IOWA! And, on the instrument panel in plain sight was a toggle switch hanging by a single screw. The vehicle has a power conservation program that powers down the vehicle if not used in undetermined length of time and can be confused for a dead battery which happened to me and my wife. I would like to start off by strongly suggesting that if you have found the ideal motorhome great, However I strongly encourage you to not buy it from La mesa RV in west Sacramento. The reasons are primarily their service is located about 10 miles away from their sales facility and is all but "nonexistent." It took me over almost 4 months to get $5.00 part in from the factory needed to fix a window slide. The interesting thing about the process is that when I originally took it in so they could figure out what to order, they found all kinds of other things that they wanted to do that paid them much more in the way of reimbursement as warranty work, and the little 15-minute fix was a nu-sense. They even wanted to replace the linoleum flooring because they said is was badly discolored. ONE BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!! After much discussion with Tony (the Service Manager) who was very reassuring about the time it would take to do the job, I said OK. I had mentioned that the flooring that it came with was not very nice to begin with but that I had excepted it as what it came with. Tony was very agreeable and said he would reach out to me with some choices by e mail in which happened a few days later. I chose one of them feeling like at least the service Manager was trying to go the extra mile to help me. Then another e mail was sent with a forwarded e mail attached to it from the warranty division of the factory saying that they could not approve a different pattern. I wished that I could say that this surprised me but with the past experience I had with the window it didn't. long after the sweet taste of purchasing the Entegra Ethos from the sales center had left I can assure you the "BITTER" tase of such terrible, terrible, terrible, service remains. *******WARNING FOR PARENTS *******   We went to La Mesa West Sacramento CA to purchase a camper so we could take our son who is autistic out camping more. He is a sensory seeker and needs to be outdoors 80 percent of the time. We let the salesperson know this right from the get-go so she understood our goal for purchase. We fell in love with the Winnebago Solis 59P National Parks Edition, and we were told by the salesperson that the van had car seat anchors and tethers so that we could safely take our son with us. On the day of pick up the rep that does the walk through to show you how the van works also ensured us there were anchors and tethers. We trusted them both because we are new to the RV world and were putting our trust in the experts. When we got home and attempted to install our car seat, we found no anchors or tethers. We looked it up and found out that our model does not come with either. We called Winnebago and confirmed with them as well. La Mesas two offers from the GM of the store and their corporate attorney is to have La Mesa pay for a third party to add a tether which is not safe or to trade in the van at a used car value. The second option would end up costing us even more money so neither are good choices. The salesperson lied and stated she told us the van did not come with either the anchor or tether. We bought the van under false pretenses that it was equipped with everything we would need. Why would parents ever spend over 100k on a car they could not drive their child in when the whole purpose was to buy it for their child. We highly warn any parents to be weary of shopping at this location or even the company at all since they do not know their rigs the way they should and are not willing to take responsibility when their staff provide wrong information. We are now stuck with a van that we can only use for a short period of time before our son has to be faced forward. We do not have the money to "trade it in" for a used car value and get something else. It's a disgrace the way we have been treated and are having to literally pay for their mistake. read more

We purchased a brand new 2023 Jayco Seneca and it has been nothing but issues and problems! Taken out to local campsite on maiden voyage looking forward to much needed time off. The generator has no power to it, computer not working, there are many issues with this thing. Suffered through the entire weekend and left early to go home. Some shaders do not retract, I could go on. Door pops open all the time. Door latch is cheap garbage and broke off in my hand! Absolute garbage, do NOT buy. Now the LONG lines to fix this heap of garbage is far away and will take us past Easter to get in for repairs that should NOT NEED TO BE DONE UPON ONE TRIP OUT AND ZERO USE, ZERO FUN! We are furious and extremely dissapointed. Future plans have to be canceled. I have never regretted something so much. Very expensive! If this is brand new, what will break in the future. read more

We are a Covid cautious family (with a baby too young to be vaccinated or mask). We were extremely disappointed by our experience with La Mesa RV. We called in advance and asked to test drive an RV without a salesperson riding along, and our salesperson agreed. However, when we arrived (after a ~1.25 hour long drive to get to the dealership), our salesperson said the manager would no longer let us drive alone for "insurance reasons" and "corporate policy". We'd previously (last month) been allowed to test drive another RV at this dealership without a salesperson without incident. The White House & California Department of Public Health made it their strongest recommendation to wear high filtration masks in close proximity to others. LaMesa staff would only mask if we provided them masks. Covid is surging again, with new more contagious variants. Current vaccines don't stop spread & aren't well protective against Long Covid. A layered approach of high filtration masks + increased ventilation + air cleaning + vaccination + distance are important. Requiring a salesperson to be in the RV during a test drive does nothing to prevent accidents, damage or theft. It just risks the health of the customer & the salesperson if either is sick and the mask doesn't fit well enough. LaMesa should want to avoid any policy that isn't in the best interests of their employees' or customers' safety or good health. read more
