I began to search all the available body shops online across the nation that are specializing RV body repair work, which it's a daunting task when you want your coach to be done in a right way especially there are only a few reputable good RV shops available in California. Mike Chavez, the owner of the Norcal RV Body Inc, whom I was lucky to discover offers the best price for the best quality of the workmanship in Northern California. What I was impressed about Norcal was that when I was contacted by my Progressive insurance claim adjuster who, without a hesitation, also recommended Norcal as I was told that Norcal has a known reputation for performing a high quality of work in Northern California. Upon releasing my RV to him for repair, I was so impressed with his transparency, professionalism, straight forward approach, and attention to details by explaining the entire repair process. I left the shop with a full confidence knowing that my motorhome will be in good hand as he ensured satisfaction as if the accident has never happened. While my RV was in the shop, Mike had kept me updated regarding the repair work through out the entire process. When I picked up my motorhome, not only, I was impressed with the finished product, I was also very pleased with the fact that Mike will stand behind his work should there be any issues. Color matching has always been a big challenge for most RV body shop due to multiple color scheme. However, Mike took on the challenge and did an incredible job in matching the existing colors. He restored the look to back to its originality. If you have a RV that you are considering to have it repaired, Mike's shop is highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

What an honor and privilege to write a review for RV-Time. Our refrigerator caught fire in our MB…read moreSprinter while dry camping; we think it was due to poor workmanship done on the refrigerator by another mobile RV company. We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? Let me put it this way: We will not go anywhere else for all things RV.

I started shopping approximately a month ago, but I am even more serious now. Keep following as I start another road trip soon. A huge location and selection, both indoor and outdoor. My pictures do NOT do it justice. But I did NOT find that perfect RV; I am close. I guess the newest trend for the B class are portable induction stove tops. Guess it saves counter space...? And the manufacturer $$ which hopefully saves us $$. Ambiance - Again, a HUGE location. If I had more time, it would have been nice to hang out longer. Service - Randy and Susan were both very professional. Price - $130k; reasonably priced for AWD and new. But for that kind of $$, I need to sleep on it. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1972 and having 10 locations in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Florida.

And interest rates were very reasonable!) Sales 3 stars - not the most warming guys out there. Friendly enough to make a sale but there were some very important questions that should have been asked before we purchased the rig that weren't. I accept responsibility for knowing some of things (like if there's actually a hitch on the damn car!) but there are things they should definitely confirm with first time buyers. unibody? The fact that we definitely NEEDED the weight distribution hitch? Thank God the car has a frame and that we asked them to throw in the hitch as part of the deal! But kudos to them for being very patient the day we went and spent an hour deciding if we wanted to buy! Orientation - 6/5 stars. Kevin was incredibly Thorough and knowledgeable especially for someone who's only 19 (almost 20! Happy birthday Kevin!). Answered all of our questions, was very professional and didn't mind repeating himself when needed. He had the hitch installed and set up for us, adjusted the brake controller and had the detail team do a touch up so we brought home a beautiful clean rig! Overall good experience and we are very excited for our future adventures.

Staff is very nice and we did bring it in just before Memorial Day so we knew we would probably have a wait. All we needed was generator oil change, checking the water pump and battery load, looking at the tires sensors, checking the roof and a wash. They said we needed new tape on top to keep the solar panels in place and couldn't find anything wrong with the pump. We got it back after three weeks and on the walk-through were actually told that the guys took all the old tape off and cleaned it up when they didn't even need to do that but they thought it was a water repellent issue which it wasn't. So who knows how much extra time went to that at $175 an hour or so. We also noticed later that we didn't get the tire valve caps back and I went to turn on the air conditioner unit in the 96° heat in downtown Saceamento and they had not turned the switch back on for that in the generator. That meant that after consulting with AI during a work event, I I was crawling under the RV in downtown Sacramento on the street to open the generator cover and flip the switch. The work overall cost $1100. Obviously, we did not think it was particularly affordable, convenient and we're not pleased with the handling of the relatively simple items on our list. There's another place not too far from us and a highly rated mobile technician as well that maybe we'll try next time. ARV business model involves multiple different technicians working on the van, which is why it takes so long, but in addition to the inconvenience we just got pretty mixed results on the work.
