Since I've never had Azerbaijan food before, I asked for a recommendation and he said all of the food is good but did say that the chicken shawarma was big and I was feeling a bit hungry so went with that. It came with fries and some peppers, which reminded me of banana peppers. Not spicy with a briney taste to it, great accompaniment. He also tossed in this yogurt drink (I didn't get the name) that was tasty. Overall, good food and will be back to try their lamb kebabs and the burger as well and interested to see what their pizzas will be like as well. He loves this food truck. So I knew I had to try, especially pupusas which I haven't had in years and my coworkers said these were the best in the area. And it did not disappoint because it was so good! It was $5 per pupusa and there are three styles. I had the mixta/revuelta. I kid you not I haven't had good Latin American food since high school and it knocked me back years. It came with a generous bag of curtido, which is similar to coleslaw except the sauce was lighter and the cabbage was chunkier. The pupusas themselves were large and three made me very full. I could've just ordered two. They also had a pretty large completely filled cup of salsa roja. Service was speedy and they accept credit and debit cards too. The staff are bilingual in English and Spanish. The food truck is in the parking lot of O'Malley's, an Irish themed sports bar. I would love to eat this before or after a night out. There is a tented seating area to eat on site immediately outside or if you are going to the bar you can take your food with you. The bar doesn't serve food, so this is THE FOOD, and it's GREAT food. There is also a website where you can order online and pick it up.

The service has also changed. The staff up front isn't very friendly anymore, and since COVID they got rid of the salsa bar (before it used to be self serve outside their food truck). Now if you ask for extra salsa, you're charged $1 for two tiny containers, which just feels petty given the prices. I think a good salsa can make or break the Mexican food. I try to return when I am in downtown Mt View, Back in the 1990s when I lived nearby on Calderon I would come in here all the time, it was a quick walk, like 50 yards, if even. The place is spotless like usual, very friendly and attentive staff. I like all the decorations that they have up. Makes you feel like you are in Mexico somewhere. We arrived early and the outside and main dining area were jammed packed. I took pictures of the back room where the rest rooms are so you can see the great art work. By 7pm, it was complelty full. Had the Mole Enchilladas and it was very good. By the time you have the tortilla chips and chile and whatever you are drinking, you get filled up.
