There is an problem: The jars of nut better are under-weighted, by up to 15%, and it varies from jar to jar. I recommend bringing a scale to weigh the jars, and buy the heaviest jar. If you get stuck with an under-weight jar, ask for a discount. The pistachio butter jar says 341 grams, but the last jar I bought was only 292 grams. It's cheaper to buy Fiddyment Farms pistachio paste on Amazon.

For those of you that don't know, Winters is a smaller farm town located in a more rural part of Yolo County. It lies east of Lake Berryessa, north of Vacaville, and west of Davis as its town is adjacent to the Putah Creek. Located directly on Grant Ave (Hwy 128), this fruit stand is a standalone business with no other neighboring businesses in the area. They offer a small parking lot; however it is unpaved and has loose gravel directly outside. Regular business hours are 11am-5pm Wednesday through Monday as they are closed on Tuesday. I had the opportunity coming here as I was passing through and decided to stock up on some fresh fruit. I've got to say that the fruit selection here was quite impressive as they had a generous amount of peaches, oranges, nectarines, apples, lemons, limes, grapefruit, and squash. There was also an abundance of walnuts, cashews, almonds, dates, and figs as well as numerous jars of honey (in all flavors), almond/oat/pistachio butters, olives, and olive oil. During my visit which was during the morning of Saturday 6/17/2023 at around 11:30am, I ended up getting several spring snow-white peaches, honey crisp apples, and a jar of almond butter to take home with me. The three ladies working behind the table were in an upbeat mood that were very friendly during my short visit. Considering this place started over 100 years ago in the 1920's (in Sunnyvale, CA), they have come a very long way while mastering the art of growing only the freshest fruits from their fields. All in all, "Winters Fruit Tree" scores a unanimous five-star rating from me as the selection, freshness of the fruit, reasonable prices, and above average customer service all scored high marks in my book. So if you're ever passing through the Winters area, go check them out!

The cashiers are always friendly and attentive to me. Even though it is part of a corporation, there is still the small town-feel to the store. While I don't often buy groceries at full price here, their sale prices are worth not driving across town to Walmart.

I looked online and ordered from Safeway in Dixon, Ca. My cat absolutely wasn't eating it. Every morning I would find dried up uneaten food. I discovered the food was spoiled. I threw the remaining bags away. I called Dixon Safeway only to be told I had to call Corporate. They told me Zi would be refunded the $64.00 I spent, that never happened I was told the second time by , Corporate to contact the local Safeway I've never heard back from them. They essentially stole ,$64.00 and sold me spoiled food. What if my cat had gotten sick,,? What has happened to customer service? I don't shop there, I live in Winters and do not go to Dixon. At this point , I furious with Safeway, Corporate and Fresh Pet for not making this good. I loved the convenience of ordering online, but I won't do this again..
