Biscuits and Gravy with 2 eggs

Yuuumm! So glad I came here! Three of us went and it's a cute little place with a great Breakfast! We started with the Cinnamon Streusel Muffin. It comes with the butter but I'd skip it next time. It's so tasty it doesn't need it. I loved the Breakfast Sandwich. The over medium eggs had a perfect cook, the bacon is thick and the roll is soft. Sooo tasty and not too big. I want it again! My hubby had the Bacon & Egg combo. He said it was all good except the potatoes were flavorless and needed salt and seasoning. Mom had the biscuits & gravy with two eggs. They have good gravy. Nice flavor balance! They have a tight parking lot for a big pickup truck and not much street parking. The staff is really friendly. I can't wait to try more of their menu!

This small home style diner was extremely busy when we arrived, and parking was very limited but the food made it completely worth it. My favorite item was the cinnamon streusel muffin, served warm with butter melting on top. It honestly tasted like heaven. Despite how packed the place was, the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly kind, our food came out quickly, and they were great about refilling drinks and coffee. Such a cute, welcoming diner. I would definitely come back.

First time trying this restaurant nice service I choose a turkey sandwich because it was $8.95 with chips Most everything on the menu is $17 or more and the portions looked huge I'd come again when in the area for a breakfast which looks amazing

Amazing service, hot coffee, hot food, fast! And the coffee cake ohh the coffee cake. I would come here just for that.

Small town feel diner with huge portions. The staff is friendly and the food quality and service is excellent. Pricing is on point for quality, quantity, and selection. Parking can be a pain, but worth waiting for a space or finding one off site.

Went to brunch here and enjoyed my food very much. Only downside was the service. While our server was nice, she wasn't very attentive and all the other servers seemed to avoid me and my family outright. They asked my dad over and over again if he wanted more iced tea but ignored my mom, my aunt, and myself. I had my coffee refilled once. I can forgive it though as the food was absolutely delicious and we got our food in a very timely manner. In terms of ambiance, this place was super busy but we got seated immediately which was nice.

Anyone know if I you can order from them via one of the food delivery services?

They do not have that option. Its pick up only.

When did they start closing on Sundays?

I believe it was several months ago. One of my friends let me know and I called Clarkies to confirm. Everyone deserves a day off and there are plenty of other places to go.

    Gluten free cinnamon streusel?

I don't know but it'll be worth the upset stomach 😃

Meat was juicy, sauce is plentiful, and it all conglomerates into a messy sandwich of deliciousness. Sausages are the other star here. The Spicy Hungarian sausage with mustard was absolutely a banger as well. It's a nice light kick and savory flavor with each bite. We finished off with a Cherry strudel which was not too sweet but still had the nice sugary finish of a dessert. I feel like I'm rambling but long story short, great food, great beer, great time. Have a slice of European cuisine out in Calimesa.

Food: We ordered the half Reuben sandwich with a side of warm German potato salad, a spicy…read moreHungarian sausage, and finished with a cherry strudel for dessert alongside a German beer on tap. The Reuben and potato salad combo was especially hearty and satisfying, with rich, savory flavors that felt very true to a classic deli experience. The Hungarian sausage had a great depth of flavor, savory and well-seasoned without tipping into being overly salty. The cherry strudel was a standout to end the meal, filled generously with cherries and syrup, wrapped in a flaky pastry that balanced sweetness and texture really well. The beer tied everything together nicely, cold and refreshing, and exactly what you'd want with this kind of meal. I still prefer Busy Bees in San Pedro, but this was a nice alternative within the IE area. Price: George's Market falls into a casual, reasonable deli pricing tier. Sandwiches like the Reuben and similar deli items are generally in the mid‑teens range, while sausage plates and hot meals can push closer to around $15-20 depending on what you get. Beer and imported items vary, but overall you can expect to spend about $15-25 per person for a solid, filling meal. Given the quality, portion sizes, and specialty nature of the food, the pricing feels fair. Ambiance: The space is part cozy German market, part deli counter, with a warm, wood-heavy interior that feels inviting and a bit nostalgic. There's both indoor seating and an outdoor area, giving flexibility depending on the weather or how busy it is. Beyond the dining area, the market itself sells a wide range of German groceries and specialty products, which adds to the charm and makes it feel like more of an experience than just a quick meal. Service: Service was good and impressively efficient given how busy it gets. There was a noticeable line when we went (especially on a weekend lunch time), but things moved steadily and the staff kept everything organized without feeling rushed or chaotic. Friendly and straightforward overall. Parking: Parking is one of the easier parts of the visit. It's located in a plaza with a large shared lot, so there's plenty of space and no real hassle finding a spot, even during peak hours.

The food leans German-style with some upscale, unique options you don't see everywhere. I finally tried it after years of passing by, ended up going in on a slow workday by myself, and I'm glad I did. The artichoke hearts were honestly one of the highlights, really well done. The beer selection is also unique and worth exploring if you're into trying something outside the usual. Service stood out too. I had a newer waitress who was still in training, and she handled everything really well. Attentive, polite, and didn't miss a step, which says a lot. The place itself is clean and has a classy feel without trying too hard. It's not somewhere I'd go all the time, but that's kind of the point. And compared to a chain place like Subway, I feel like I get better value for my money, esp on the 12" subs. I do have to take one star off for the soup I ordered last time. It was touted as a delicious broccoli cheddar and there was " only one bowl left!" I was too trusting LOL. It was very watery and seemed to have been a soup mix microwaved and served in a thin plastic container. Sigh. And my hopes were so high. Oh well.
