The best La Michoacana in town. Clean (as usual), friendly employees, and delicious flavors. The options are endless. We'll be back (again and again).
Came here for mother's day and will be returning soon!! They have things I simply can't find at other michoacanas like Dubai chocolate, Starbucks ice cream, and more. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the incredibly hardworking girls at the counter who answered all of my questions and even gave me solid recommendations for things to try in the shop. I ended up going with the Dubai chocolate ice cream and it did not disappoint! The owner came out and made it himself and was extremely personable and even showing off the creation to the girls behind the counter. It was probably the best dessert I've ever had in my life!! The pricing was incredible as well given the portions. This is definitely a place that you stumble upon and fall in love with and even though they've only been open for 5 months, I hope to see them flourish in our community! My only critique is I need them to get a tip jar bc the service was next level!!
La Michoacana is a go-to spot to beat the heat with traditional Mexican treats! Parking is easy and there are tables inside to eat your treats before they start to melt. With good AC, restrooms, and a family atmosphere, you will feel comfortable hanging out there any time of the day. The owners, Miguel and Nancy, put their heart and soul into their business. They greet everyone with a hello and warm smile when you walk through the door. Their paletas, ice creams, mangoneadas, Dubai chocolate strawberries, elotes are great quality and reasonably priced. They take customizations if you want to mix up your mangoneadas (tamarind ice cream cravings are a thing). I am excited to see this biz come up with new desserts now that we are closer to summer!

The deserts here were amazing, and so was the service. Danae was very helpful in fining what I should get because I had never been there. The place was very clean and well kept and the overall mood was very cheerful. I would completely recommend this place to anyone wanting to try out a new desert spot!

I am so glad we have a new gem in our neighborhood! This location is clean and very organized. The desserts are deliciously handcrafted and you can taste the fruits of their labor. The fresas con crema is the best I've ever had so far. Everywhere I've tried it, it's either too sweet or too watery. This place has it very well balanced and sweet to perfection. The strawberries are very fresh. We ordered a chocolate covered vanilla ice cream bar and it was so delicious! You could taste the homemade recipe. The two ladies who helped me were beyond nice and friendly! They were focused on making sure I ordered everything the way I would like to enjoy it. I loved everything about this experience and I cannot wait to return to try other items on their menu!

The paletas we're great! I got the pistachio paleta and it's one of the best pistachio ice creams I've tasted. The young women helping me, Maria, was super welcoming and let me sample a multitude of different ice cream flavors. The interior of the resturant is super clean but there aren't many chairs.

He let us try everything we wanted till we chose the right flavor of ice cream. The ice cream is all natural, unlike other ones! The agua frescas are absolutely delicious, and the tostitos with esquite was made to perfection. We're here at least once a week!!!!
Guys, they have bubble gum! In 2 forms, ice cream and popsicle! Both are so delicious! I got the popsicle and it was very creamy, they also make them in store. I wish they had actual bubble gum, but it was still very good. The esquite was not my favorite, but someone else might enjoy. I appreciate that it comes with all the toppings. Service was so helpful and friendly too. Plenty of seating inside, but none outside. read more

I've been coming to this Michoacana spot for years, and it never disappoints. The biónicos always hit the spot. Always with incredibly fresh fruit and made to order every time. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Their ice cream is delicious, the raspados are refreshing, and the elotes are some of the best around. On top of the amazing food, the restaurant is always spotless, and the staff is consistently welcoming and friendly. It's the kind of place that keeps you coming back year after year. Love coming here for the esquite! They make it better than any other place I've tasted. Someone different has made it for me each time I've come and the consistency is on point. This is also the cleanest location I've ever been to. Staff is always super sweet. They also have a huge variety of ice cream and fresh paletas that I love. So excited to have a new La Michoacana in Upland! This place is a little gem for anyone who loves authentic Mexican treats. They offer an incredible selection of ice cream flavors, paletas, and refreshing snacks like mangonadas, chamoyadas, and aguas frescas. Everything I've tried has been delicious and so fresh! Miguel, Nancy and staff are super friendly, happy to help you choose if you're overwhelmed by the choices (which you probably will be!). The decor is bright and inviting, making it a fun spot to bring friends or family. Definitely a must-try if you're in the area and craving something sweet or refreshing. Genuinely such a sweet and generous staff! They give such good serving sizes for the price. And they are not stingy with toppings , even told us if we needed more of any toppings to please tell her. It's super clean inside as well. She even let us try samples of the ice cream we were interested in, even those were generous servings. Great overall experience. Will be becoming a regular. Not only was the facility clean and organized but the service was AMAZING. Miguel (the owner) went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed both the food and the time at La Michoacana. The food was PERFECT. We will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis. Everyone was extremely nice and the food is top notch!!!!! I was walking and wanted a place for ice cream and I found this location. Next thing I knew I was walking out with an ellote, chips nachos, and a mangonada. All their ice creams called out to me but I had to stop. I'll be back for that ice cream I never got. This location is very clean and all the fruit is fresh. Will definitely be back. Since walking in it was a very nice atmosphere with kind workers that will help you any way they can. read more
