La Michoacana is always a go-to spot for snack or dessert cravings. They've got tons of options--ice cream, popsicles, aguas frescas, and more. This location is in a small shopping center, and even when we stopped by 30 minutes before closing on a weeknight, there was still a line. Big shoutout to the lady behind the counter holding it down solo--she was handling everything with a smile!

esquite is almost $9 and they give such a small portion compared to other locations

low rating mostly because of the small esquite portion (there are other la michoacana locations that give me twice the size for $8), horchata tastes good but is a little chalky

Good ice cream place for a quick snack after lunch. Price is not too pricey. They have lots of flavors. Coffee is ok - not enough coffee flavor to me, but the husband likes it fine. They also have chamango. Average.

I have ordered from Uber eats a few times from this location and my experience was great. We loved our crepe with ice cream. It was made fresh and delicious. Today's visit, we went to chipotle which is located in the same shopping center and I saw the sign for la Michoacana and had a craving for something sweet. We got strawberries with cream and a cup of ice cream, guava and lime which are my favorite flavors. Everything was good, the strawberries and cream had yummy coconut and raisins I think, it was delicious on this hot day. We are staying in Anaheim and our trip here has been amazing. We loved the shops and the entire ambience. Thank you

    Disgusting blonde hair

I ordered through DoorDash! Aside from being expensive it's a small fruit $11 ! I should have seen the reviews and rating before purchasing here. But disgusting there was a blonde hair in my fruit. Gross!!! Trash it goes

There was a couple that arrived before me and worker thought I was with them and so I don't understand how that was possible if I arrived after, she completely ignored me. I asked her for the flavors of the popsicle and she said when your ready let me know and I just ordered anyone because she was leaving again and then I told her you are here to help not to ignore. She was very rude and didn't want to help. If this lady is there be prepared to wait a long time and be ignored. She acts like she's giving you food for free!

Unbelievable!!!! They charge 90 cents extra when you pay with a credit or debit card! This is ridiculous, and over that agua fresca de fresa taste really bad, Ot taste like is not refrigerated. Thats why I'll never gone come again to this location

What a joke, esquite more like jokesquite

I'm sorry, but nothing here is fresh, the fruit looks like its about to go bad, the esquites are flavorless it's literally corn from a can heated up in the microwave, cheese smells bad, the Mayo tasted horrible, point is I'm never coming here ever again , don't even get me started with customer service, they didn't greet us and it took like 20 mins for us to get our order, Try across the street tocumbo it never disappoints. ***update I have bubble gutt*** ‍

    a watermelon filled with fruit

It had a Filipino sausage called longanisa which is slightly sweet, hash Brown, egg, cheese, garlic mayo, and banana ketchup (which is a popular Filipino condiment). As it came with a side of potatoes it was a very filling dish best shared. I also tried the lychee panacotta which was also delicious. It sat in a bowl of chia pudding with granola and fruit. The juice from the lychee may have slightly sweetened the pudding which was a nice surprise. The service was friendly and easy to get assistance. It was not too crowded at 8:00 on a Saturday but people were starting to show up more and more.

We arrived and immediately the staff was so attentive, coming to assist with the lift outside. And they mentioned that if the lift is down for some reason, they also have a ramp to deploy in the back to provide access, which was incredible to hear. The restaurant is charming inside and laid out with plenty of room to navigate and also enjoy your breakfast without feeling like you're on top of anyone else. The service continued to be absolutely stellar, with everyone working in a flow to make the experience flawless. The food was PHENOMENAL, with fluffy pancakes and crispy thick bacon! I'm still dreaming of the pineapple pancakes with tropical syrup... delicious! Their coffee was perfect, too, and I had their awesome cold brew. To top off this experience, the prices cannot be beat. We were shocked how affordable this meal was, especially given the great portion sizes and quality. Kudos all around to a restaurant that we will be sure to visit again when we're in Anaheim; heck, I may even make a special trip just to enjoy!

The service was fast and we were checked on multiple times at the right intervals. My husband's coffee and my hot chocolate were continuously refilled without having to track someone down. This was our first time there, so we didn't know about portion sizes. We ended up ordering a bit too much but we know for next time. We did family style on everything. My husband ordered the crepes, I ordered the cheese omelet with a side of hash browns and my daughter ordered the pancakes. All very good choices. I think the crepes were definitely the standouts though. I don't think the other items had anything extraordinary about them, but just the overall experience of ordering, easiness, attention to detail from server combined made everything extra special and us wanting to add this place to our favorite places.

Overall, everything lacked flavor, although I will say the red salsa served with the chips was delicious. My friend ordered the avocado toast, but it was basically just a slice of bread with sliced avocado--no seasoning, condiments, or anything to make it stand out. The small garden salad was equally underwhelming, consisting of only romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes with no dressing or even a drizzle of olive oil. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but they were more like open-faced boiled eggs since the yolks were completely hard instead of runny. The café de olla had a nice flavor, but it was much sweeter than expected. I think it would be better if they served it unsweetened (or lightly sweetened) and let customers adjust the sugar to their own taste. I really wanted to enjoy this place because the ambiance is so charming, but the food just didn't live up to the experience.

I paid $17.54 for a biscuit with egg, cheese, turkey sausage, and a black iced coffee. The biscuit was decent, but fairly small, and nothing about the sandwich felt premium enough to justify the price. The turkey sausage tasted like a standard pre-made sausage, and if there was a significant upcharge for choosing turkey, it didn't feel warranted. The coffee was fine. It was a basic black iced coffee, good enough, but not something that stood out or justified a premium price. My biggest issue is the value. Nearly $18 for a simple breakfast sandwich and a plain black iced coffee feels excessive for what was served. I've also noticed that the total seems to vary from visit to visit, making it difficult to know what to expect when ordering. I genuinely like the people who work here and wish them success. This review isn't about the staff. For me, it's simply a matter of price versus value, and I can no longer justify spending this much for a basic breakfast and coffee.
