In town from Virginia, wanted a nice non chain local place to eat. The Brunch Spot hit the number. The minute we walked in we knew this was a local spot and not a touristy spot. We had the Brunch Breakfast burrito. It was good, also came with a spicy guacamole on the side. We also had the Strawberry French Toast. The food was great, fresh and flavorful. The Strawberry French Toast though stole the show. The freshness and the amount of strawberries was amazing. The whip cream also tasted homemade. The service was very fast and very friendly. If you are in the area and looking for a breakfast spot stop by The Brunch Spot and get some French toast! Stopped by for breakfast with coworkers, and The Brunch Cafe hit the spot. You order and pay for your meal before sitting. The cafe itself is very clean, and the staff is so amazing and accomodating. The menu has a really good assortment of breakfast items. I ordered the breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, sausage, and fruit. My coworkers got the strawberry waffle and the brunch omelette. The breakfast plate was so yummy especially the sausage patty. My coworkers both enjoyed their meals too. One of them frequents this cafe and highly recommends the chilaquiles!! I was looking for a place to grab a quick breakfast nearby, and thought I'd give The Brunch Café a shot. At around 12:20pm on a Sunday, it was packed. It was still packed when I left fifteen minutes before closing. They are easy to find, right on the corner of Kramer and Miraloma with plenty of parking available. There are a good number of two-seat and four-seat tables inside. There are also a few tables outside around the entrance. The whole front of the dining room is windows, so it is nice and bright inside. It feels a little nicer than your average café with olive colored walls, a mix of canned and track lighting, and tile and polished concrete floors. You order from the register, get a number, and a server delivers your food to your table. The TV screens behind with register were out, and they just had several physical menus to look at. Luckily, I looked at the menu online ahead of time and knew what I wanted. I ordered and took a seat. You can also order food to go. I had the Brunch Omelette (Three eggs, bacon, ham, spinach, red peppers, onions, cheddar chese, $14) with hash browns and sourdough toast. My plate arrived pretty quickly, and it was nice of the server to bring me a side of sour cream at no cost. The omelette was flavorful and a good size. I always love a little sour cream with every bite of my omelettes. The hash browns had a nice crisp on the outside and had a good portion. The sourdough was toasted nicely, although it was not buttered. They have containers of various flavored jellies on each table. It was a pretty solid plate of food for only $14. The gentleman at the register and my server were both very friendly. Tables were cleaned up promptly after guests left. We came here from the Bay Area with a group of 12 family members and even though the café is on the smaller side, the staff was absolutely amazing at accommodating us! They seated us quickly and made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The service was spectacular -- friendly, attentive, and efficient. I ordered the breakfast plate, and it was delicious! Everything came out fresh and fast, which was impressive given our large group. I believe the café is Spanish-owned, and you can really feel the warmth and pride they put into both their food and hospitality. Such a great spot for brunch -- highly recommend! I ventured out of our normal breakfast spots and found this on Yelp. It was a quiet Friday morning. Not many tables were taken. It's an order up front and seat yourself kind of place. They brought the food out and checked up on us. I ordered the brunch omelette and my husband got the brunch burrito. I got mine with fruit instead of hash browns and a single pancake instead of bread. Presentation was on point. The portion size was decent. I loved that the omelette was made with so many ingredients. They did not skimp! The fruit was fresh. The pancake was not bad. It was hard to pick up with a fork. I'd prefer the middle to be more done. We both ordered drip coffee that came with free refills. The coffee was average. I saw people camped out with their laptops. If we lived closer, this would be a nice place to work from. Oh and I loved that they played relaxing worship music in the background. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. It's kind of funny that I've been driving past this place for over a year and a half and never knew it was here. It's right on the corner of a business complex but there's no big sign or anything, just a little sign above the door. You'd never expect there to be a restaurant here unless you looked really hard. Walking in, I immediately liked the vibe. The guys working there were outgoing, funny, and made the place feel really welcoming which set the tone right away. I decided to try the Homestyle Chilaquiles Plate and it ended up being one of the most unique breakfasts I've ever had. It's almost like breakfast nachos but with eggs. The plate came with chip tortillas, onions, cream, cheese, cilantro, and their homemade salsa verde, all topped with 2 eggs and avocado. The homemade salsa verde was incredible, full of flavor, and tied everything together perfectly. The mix of the tortilla chips, fresh avocado, sour cream, and eggs worked so well. I've been on a huge breakfast grind lately. My current favorite breakfast burrito spot hasn't been dethroned in a very long time. I'm not looking for a replacement but more of like a backup when I'm wanting different flavors. The past several places have been duds and this spot looked very promising. Here's what I ordered: **Sausage Breakfast Burrito: For the price of $10 in this economy, that's a steal for any breakfast burrito. However, I still don't think it's worth it because the burrito is mostly soggy potatoes. I got two sides of their green salsa and they were not good either. It's a creamy salsa with a kick of spice which is great but one of them was partially browning. The other was a bright green but it had a refrigerator aftertaste. For the price alone, I bump it up a rating but I do not recommend this taste wise. (2/5) **Chilaquiles Rojos: Overall, great price again but the flavor wasn't authentic at all. It was very salty and very dry. (1/5) Great service and smiles all around but that was the only positive attribute at this little spot. I highly recommend ordering via phone for takeout because it does get busy. Hey, maybe their classic breakfast items are good but definitely skip the breakfast burritos and chilaquiles. read more

This morning, April 12th, 2026, my family and I went to Brunch Café in Anaheim, California, for breakfast. I was with my husband and our three kids. When we arrived, we ordered at the front and were promptly greeted. All three children wanted hot chocolates, so I requested them, and the server asked if we wanted whipped cream. I said yes. After ordering, we paid, but we didn't get a physical receipt; my husband received it by email. Once we got home, we reviewed it. When we sat at the table, the kids were brought chocolate milk instead of hot chocolates. My husband flagged down a server, who asked who took the order and said she would correct it. A few minutes later, the original server, who we later learned is the mother-in-law of the owner, came over. She looked annoyed and claimed we had requested a cold chocolate milk, which we had not. She spoke to my husband since he had not ordered for the children he was unsure of what she was talking about. Since we didn't have the receipt, we couldn't dispute it, and she charged us an extra three dollars for whipped cream. She walked away without waiting for a response. Our server, Maribel, was fantastic--she was kind, apologetic, and when we got our food, we found a hair on one of the plates, which she quickly addressed. She was a great server, but the mother-in-law was extremely rude and unprofessional. It's not about the money; it's about how unprofessional she was. We unfortunately will not be returning to Brunch Café, but I wanted to share this so they can hopefully address that person's behavior. When you walk in, you order your food at the counter. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations for both breakfast and lunch. The place was PACKED. You order at the counter and seat yourself, and as we stood in line I worried we might have to take it to go since there were no empty tables. Just as it was my turn to order, a table became available. There was a steady line out the door our entire visit. They do not bus the tables here, or if they do, they are very slow about it. We took the newly unoccupied, dirty table, and nobody cleaned it off for 20 minutes. I did notice other people scraping their leftover food into trash cans, so maybe we were all supposed to do that? Not sure where they were putting their dirty dishes though. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes (you can add meat if you want, I did not) and orange juice. After tip it was $20. They had cups of OJ in a deli like display by the registers, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to grab one or not, they didn't tell me to take one. My friend ordered a bacon breakfast burrito with a side of fries and a soft drink, they didn't give her a cup for her drink. My food took about 40 minutes to arrive, my friend's food showed up 15 minutes after mine! They were so unbelievably slow here! When my food was dropped off, I asked about my OJ, the guy went and got it for me. When my friend's food was dropped off, she asked about her cup and if they could bring her ranch dressing for her fries. The lady told her she'd bring her a cup, but it's $0.75 for the ranch, so she would have to go wait in line and pay for it. How was the food? I really liked my chilaquiles, they had a nice spice to them and the chips were tasty. My over easy eggs were cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed the avocado served with it. I would order them again for sure. My friend said she liked her burrito, it was quite large and she took half of it home. She went to the counter to get a box, they said somebody would bring her one and they never did, so she eventually walked behind the counter and got it herself. Found this place on Yelp on the way home from work today while searching for "breakfast burritos." My husband and I arrived right when they opened and were immediately greeted & given menus. You order & pay at the counter, then are given a number. We opted to dine in, and our food was brought to our table. I ordered the chorizo and egg burrito and my husband opted for the breakfast burrito with bacon; and a waffle. Since the burritos were served conveniently wrapped and sliced in half, we decided to split both. The burritos came with a creamy green spicy salsa on the side, which brought the already tasty burritos to another level of deliciousness.
