The store is very dysfunctional, from not having the churros in-stock, to the employee yelling from the register to another employee for and order. Coming down to the register you have someone putting a display up for cookies while trying to pay. Then finding out your food to go doesn't even have proper lids. I really like this place, it's close to me, the prices are fair and the food is good. I mostly like to get their mangonadas (with the watermelon sherbet). I usually like to try different things but this one thing is a favorite of mine so it's hard to pick new stuff. I get the ice cream for my parents and they like it too, and I've also tried their esquite, no complaints. When I go it's empty and they have their chairs up to discourage indoor dining. I've not seen any issues with masking, either from customers or staff which is greatly appreciated. They also have sticks in place for social distancing with is followed as well. read more

I just found this place AND I LOVE IT!! My coworkers and I have been buying ice cream cones and paletas for the past few days. We are slowly going through every menu item and we're loving every minute of it! It's affordable, delicious, the staff is clean and friendly, and the line is always out the door. When you walk in, you can smell the elote, which sounds strange but it's also very welcoming and even comforting for me. The agua frescas looks amazing in all the mangonadas and specialty drinks (I'll be trying those on my days off) and everyone seems to leave with a smile. It's so popular, I tend to spend at least 20-30 minutes waiting in line but it's all worth it in the end. We tried the strawberry cheesecake paletes yesterday and the center is stuffed with strawberry filling and cheesecake! The Oreo one has cookie in every bite, and the mango neives de agua on a cone (that tastes like it's seasoned with cinnamon) is very refreshing. The strawberry nieves de leche is frozen to the perfect texture and somehow the fresh fruit inside isn't hard! It's soft and wonderful! Even though I love this place I gotta say employees are very rude ,and I believe costumers should be treated nicely around here ,today I called to ask for there time schedule (because that seems not to be Wright all the time ) and place a order I called 3 times because this lady ,hanged up 3 times she didn't even let me talk through I asked something and she answered and hanged up I called again and she had the audacity to not answer ! This sucks and she is very extremely rude . I believe that employees should always treat their customers Respectfully and nicely because we help support those small businesses. Im very unhappy with the customer service received tonight. I was told at 8:45 that I couldn't order anything because they're closed when there a sign at the door stating they close at 10:00pm and online says 10:00pm. I asked to speak to a manger. She was very unprofessional, young and not properly trained as a manager. She even rolled her eyes at us. She wrongfully handled the situation as a manager. Very unhappy with the customer service when I told her I'd file a complaint she said go for it & rolled her eyes but you guys have to leave & walked away. That sign must be change with the new time adjustment and online. They should turn off "OPEN" sign. They should properly train managers to handle customers complaints. read more

The next time I ordered with DoorDash and they canceled the order - the DoorDash driver contacted me and stated they told him they don't take orders? What?? I feel just bc it's very presentable and the places catches your attention with the colors and display but Honestly id rather go to la nueva michoacana on Niles st in Bakersfield. Ordered a paleta de nuez i forced myself to eat it ‍ and then the tosti elote they wanna rip you off and give u a small handful of tostitos and place it in a plate rather than giving you the tostielote in the tostitos bag like they actually promote it on social media and on their menu the funny thing is that the plate is pretty big and and they don't even try to fill it up . They just rip you off honestly ... won't be going there again read more

The hot Cheeto esquite was disgusting and had no flavor & the hot Cheeto crumbs on top were STALE and disgusting! The Fresas Con Crema was terrible... what they served me was just chopped strawberries in strawberry watered down milk. They should be ashamed... that's not the true version of fresas con crema.
