Whenever I'm in Tracy and in the mood for some ice cream, I love to stop by here for their Oreo and fruit popsicles. It's a great way to beat the heat during the summer session. I recommend ordering the cone instead of a cup because the worker will usually stuff the cone. In comparison to other ice cream shops, this one has been the most generous with their portions. The portion size is enough to share with my partner and leave us both feeling satisfied. However, their service is quite slow. A lot of times, there is a long line so try to get here early. If you're expecting a quick stop, this is not the place for you. I also have a problem with their cleanliness. The floor is sticky and they do not clean up the tables after the customers. Although, customers are also to blame. Most of the time, parents do not clean up after their kids and don't bother wiping the table when they're done. As a result, the seats kind of smell and the booth leaves you feeling icky. I always eat outside because of this inconvenience. There is also limited seating that is usually occupied or left a mess. Would give NO stars if I was allowed. Let's talk about my experience. Employees are rude af. My husband and I ordered banana splits. They made mine first and the chocolate was already soft to begin with. As the girl was making mine, the other workers were all talking and interrupting her causing her to stop making my sundae in between the conversation. After mine was done, she put mine aside while she made my husband's. We asked if I could have mine because the whipped cream was already melting. Then they said no, they couldn't give it unless it was paid for. So my husband said he'll go ahead and pay then they gave him a snobbish look. The cashier gave us our spoons with her bare hands after handling cash. She wasn't even wearing her mask properly. So disgusted by the service and the workers. No sense of good customer service. We came here at exactly 6:45pm on a Saturday and left at 6:55pm with one each of the mango agua fresca and jamaica micheagua. There were three groups ahead of us, but the line moved fast. Each person is working on a group's order, so depending on what you are getting, it will take a while. They don't exactly have a physical menu with flavors and pricing (there is one on the screens above the service counter, but they move pretty fast), but you can easily see that they offer huge selection of treats from sweet to spicy. This place is worth the wait. Everyone complaining about the slow times needs to understand they are very short staffed, they even have a sign saying they are hiring. Arrived at 7:25pm, line 50 people deep, only 3 associates on a Sunday night, at one point it was only 2 because they sent associates on break. Currently leaving at 9:52pm, after waiting 2.5 hours. Watched at least 20 people leave the line frustrated from waiting. Poor management is leading to a loss of revenue at this location. Not to mention all the health code violations observed while standing in line. One girl serving touched her shirt to retie the bottom front while wearing gloves and directly went to serving guests, not changing her gloves, touching sprinkles etc. Observed the guy in the back, prep or dishwasher idk (he was restocking crushed hot Cheetos), go to the bathroom with his apron and gloves, come back out with same gloves and was touching things all over the food service area, god knows what (and took off his gloves and was touching everything). also he was touching his mask frequently as were all the associates. I work in the food industry and understand the cross contamination and possibility for illnesses due to poor associate hand washing habits. This is the second time I've come and noticed the associates touching their uniform while wearing gloves and directly serving guests. I only ordered the PACKAGED paletas. Please change/increase management and properly train your associates on health code violations before people get sick! If you are a customer, please notify the health department if you get sick after eating here! Not worth the wait to get sick. I understand it's hard to hire at this time, but please train associates properly and at least have the manager working to increase speed of service! 10-15 minutes per guest/group is ridiculous!! Hire more people, teenagers, someone ! There was an extra lady in the back that came out once for a minute and went back. I would like to recognize and commend associate Julian! Disgusting! Everything looks so good but tastes gross! We ordered the birthday cake, Oreo bliss, mangonada, and a scoop of strawberry. We waited in line for an hour and it wasn't even busy! The shakes were watered down it was gross like drinking straight milk. The mangonada barely had any chamoy on it. Never again! I don't mind an hour wait but this was so not worth it. The line wrapped inside and it took about 2 hours to finally get my snacks (ridiculous of me for waiting that long). When I finally got to the front, the guy who helped me was very attentive which was appreciated after waiting for so long. Unfortunately, the girls who work here have the worst customer service I have ever seen; in particular Monce. They work slow, chat amongst each other when there are clearly way too many people waiting, and to top it off have the absolute worst attitude. After a very frustrating morning, I decided to stop by my local new ice cream shop! I was welcomed by the team members working on Thursday, July 1st! There was only two girls working this morning but they got the job done!!! I was pretty surprised by how hot it was in the shop but aside from that the food was very tasty! The service was very good and the members were very attentive and welcoming. I ordered a esquite (that was very warm and delicious) and a Jamaica agua!! They are also very polite and make sure to ask what you want and don't want on the order!
