Delicious! This was the best treat. I met with some interns from my startup that live in the area and was trying to figure out what we could enjoy while social distancing in the park. La Michoacana came up and I am so glad that I was able to support this business. You pull up your car into numbered parking spaces and you can either call to order ahead of time, or go to the front door where someone will come out to take your order via wireless device and you pay with your credit/debit card. I had brought a cooler to transport all the delicious goodies and they were so nice to pack all the items for me. I got three elotes..awesome balance of corn, mayo, cheese and chili powder. Then a small scoop of chocolate and a small scoop of Ferrero Roche with waffle cone and the most awesome mango dessert. It was like a mango sorbet with bits of mango, chamoy (sweet and sour red sauce) and a little but of chile. Wow...that was so refreshing. I highly recommend trying a sweet treat here if you're in the are

Delicious and fun! Employees were very kind and patient as I tried a few samples. The cotton candy ice cream was delicious! No outdoor seating, but that's ok! I had a great experience!

They have some delicious ice cream, fruit waters, Mexican corn, and other snacks here. It is a little pricey though.

They also have some really inexpensive handmade Popsicles that they use real fruit to make.

The food is good, consistently prepared, and the staff is always hustling. Prices are fair, and I appreciate that their menu is easy to read and also lists nutrition facts. It seems like they've worked out some of the kinks they had in their early days, and this has been a positive addition to the area and I'm glad we have it.

I met the manager as I was interested in maybe working there, at least part-time but right now I cannot because of an injury to my dominant hand (right) which now has caused nerve damage in my hand and wrist. I lost functionality and dexterity thus I will not be able to properly shake up one of their phenomenal smoothies or even count change properly. Heck I can hardly tie my shoes or button my shirts without a struggle. I may have to go out shoeless, shirtless and hopefully not pants-less. Anyway, I talked with this wonderful woman who is an excellent manager who treats all her employees and customers with respect and gratitude. She made me a smoothie that was beyond this world - I thought I was on a tropical island on Mars. The ambience is refreshing, tranquil and exotic. Take it from me, stop by and tell them Ricky J. Fico (the guy with the pet pelican and fedora) recommended this cool establishment

Lewis Fresh Market certainly isn't one of those cramped little stores. Has a lot of produce and other items. The prices aren't the best but they're pretty comparable to other places. Best thing is the produce because it's all fresh. It's comparable to the Cermak Fresh Markets. There's a lot of Mexican and other Latino stuff in here along with some other countries too. Has quite a lot to go through so you can find many good items. There's a grill to order tacos and tortas. Also there's a hot bar and salad bar. Other popular areas include the bakery where they cut fresh loaves. Has even more produce outside, especially when they have pumpkins in autumn. The prices are okay for being fresh. For sure we could go here again if in the area. It's got a couple locations, including this one on Grand. The produce is considered to be the best stuff.

Something I do at all ethnic grocers. There's no organic vegetables available and there is a popular bakery which I did not patronize. Not a place to drive to but interesting to pick up some Mexican while in the area. I liked my carnitas by the pound & threw the spinach pies & cooked chicken in the freezer for those busy days.
