Delicious! This was the best treat. I met with some interns from my startup that live in the area and was trying to figure out what we could enjoy while social distancing in the park. La Michoacana came up and I am so glad that I was able to support this business. You pull up your car into numbered parking spaces and you can either call to order ahead of time, or go to the front door where someone will come out to take your order via wireless device and you pay with your credit/debit card. I had brought a cooler to transport all the delicious goodies and they were so nice to pack all the items for me. I got three elotes..awesome balance of corn, mayo, cheese and chili powder. Then a small scoop of chocolate and a small scoop of Ferrero Roche with waffle cone and the most awesome mango dessert. It was like a mango sorbet with bits of mango, chamoy (sweet and sour red sauce) and a little but of chile. Wow...that was so refreshing. I highly recommend trying a sweet treat here if you're in the are

Delicious and fun! Employees were very kind and patient as I tried a few samples. The cotton candy ice cream was delicious! No outdoor seating, but that's ok! I had a great experience!

They have some delicious ice cream, fruit waters, Mexican corn, and other snacks here. It is a little pricey though.

WE ALL SCREAM ...for…read moreice cream! Hidden in the back of a strip mall is a colorful ice cream place. When you walk in here you feel like you are at a roadside stand. You will also notice that they love kids here. There are small mini picnic tables with umbrellas for the little ones. They also have a flat screen playing kids cartoons in Spanish. My little one was enjoying Kung Fu Panda 2, while eating an ice cream cone. Prices are very reasonable. You can get a single scoop in a bowl or sugar cone for only a $1.50. What a deal! They also have a ton of flavors to choose from. You can also ask for a flavor to sample first before making your purchase. If you're not into ice cream they also have some gelato and sorbet selections too. I saw a snow cone machine but it wasn't up and running. After much deliberation my little one went with a scoop of cookies and cream on a sugar cone. I had a little bite and it was really good. We also met Elisabeth and she was very nice to us. She fielded all of our questions and answered them with a smile. She told us that they had been open for about a month. I noticed they had some churros warming and Elisabeth showed us an amazing photo of a desert they could make with churros, ice cream & fresh fruit. We will have to save that for another day because we had an amazing big lunch next door at Papa Marcos. I did notice various hot sauces on the counter and a nacho cheese machine. I did not have the heart to ask Elisabeth anymore questions but I did see some deep fired pork rinds, so I'm assuming it is for that. I knew it wouldn't go good on ice cream. I also saw a sign advertising shakes ($3), smoothies ($4) and malts ($5). Again we will have to save this for another visit. So if you are in the area and looking for some ice cream from a great colorful small business then I recommend you pop in here. If you have kids they will love the kids size tables to enjoy there ice cream treats.

AND the ice cream is awesome! I was surprised by how many dessert options and ice cream flavors they had to choose from. They of course had paletas (cool flavored popsicles, essentially), but they also had over 20 different ice cream flavors AND churros! I went with a cup of dark chocolate and cinnamon sticky bun, and both were great, but man oh man the cinnamon sticky bun was a knockout! Cinnamon roll in ice cream form, for sure. So, this place is wonderful in all aspects. One thing I'm not a huge fan of is location - I only ask that it were closer to my neck of the woods and then, Palterias Monarcha, I would be your number one fan! I happened to be in the area and upon seeing the ice cream signage, I knew I had to check the place out. I'm definitely glad I made the stop!

I've eaten their burgers and various items here during the summer for a quick bite and it's traditional drive in food. But what makes them stand out is their soft serve. They offer a variety of sizes. I got a small dipped and my husband got a large. Mind you they also have an extra large too, haha. But the small was the perfect size for me, I finished my cone and was super full. We asked for a cup for his cone and we were able to fill it and still have a full cone to enjoy. The ice cream is soft and delicious, the option to be able to dip it makes it a super fun treat as well. Can't recommend Shirl's enough!

However, the fries tasted like they were cooked in old fish grease and have the consistency like they'd been sitting at room temperature before they were salted and sent. The mint malt was missing the extra malt on top THAT I WAS CHARGED FOR, but was tasty and satisfying despite being somewhat melted. Interesting bit of carelessness on their part: someone's two-day-old Old National bank receipt was in the bag as well. The malt warrants 4 stars, but the issues (fries in particular) knock this down to two. It's on me for not reading Yelp reviews before ordering. Won't happen again.

The name, Drip & Culture, perfectly describes this spot. I was in the Great Lakes area for only 2 days for one of my nephew's Navy graduation and I went to this place twice. We ordered the iced versions of the Ube Matcha and the Ube Hojicha. The flavor balance of these drinks are perfection. As a Filipino, I approve their ube; it's not like the "ube"/vanilla with food coloring from Trader Joe's. Sidenote: I love Trader Joe's overall, but the majority of their ube products are terrible. I'm going to be craving that Ube Hojicha for a long time. I hope I can find something similar back home. Also, if you're hungry, try the tacos sold inside the supermarket adjacent to the cafe. Cheap, big, and delicious tacos!

The Ube beverage was great, the ube flavor stands out pretty strong unlike most ube coffee drinks I've had elsewhere. The mango sticky rice was delish, it was sweet but not overly sweet and the cream made a huge difference in the drink. Highly recommend. Overall we had a great fine and would recommend if you're looking for a fusion coffee shop to try!

This candy shop is inviting with their bright pink neon lights which I love. There is so much to see in here and we looked around and went through the bulk candy for sometime to pick the flavors we wanted. It was kinda fun in a weird way. Wait just one more watermelon! Lots of candies I've never seen or even tasted before. I set myself a limit in here because let's be real, you can go overboard on the yummy goodies. They also offer fudge and icecream. Staff encounter was minimal, but I can't say anyone was super eager and enthusiastic while ringing us up. I was happy to find the sour pucker lips as they are hard to come by back home... it was a win for me. I loved the OHHHH fudge sign on the wall-- put a huge smile on my face. :-)
