I live a block away from this gem and I am so grateful for such a wonderful experience I had recently. I met the manager as I was interested in maybe working there, at least part-time but right now I cannot because of an injury to my dominant hand (right) which now has caused nerve damage in my hand and wrist. I lost functionality and dexterity thus I will not be able to properly shake up one of their phenomenal smoothies or even count change properly. Heck I can hardly tie my shoes or button my shirts without a struggle. I may have to go out shoeless, shirtless and hopefully not pants-less. A line had formed and nobody was addressed for a while because there was only one employee handling a bunch of orders. The inside is super clean, and it doesn't seem like many people use it as a sit down type of place. But there are plenty of tables to do so. I ordered peanut paradise which was super tasty.If you're concerned about nutrition, these smoothies are packed with turbinado sugar. I didn't know this until I researched why it tasted so good, and found out there was 92g of sugar in the smoothie I just drank... I like how consistent it is. The flavor and taste is amazing and I could have it every day if I wanted! The service was really not the greatest. My co worker and I stood around for along time which was odd since the one in lake bluff seemed to be much different! Never use Apple Pay or order through the app. I placed an order here & upon picking up they claim they don't see an order so therefore I wasn't able to get my order nor refund. When I asked about a refund the manager claimed the pending charge would fall off. A week later it never fell off. I went back for a refund again like my credit card company mentioned & still they wouldn't give me a refund. So I went ahead and did a dispute with my credit card company. The same rotten tooth manager still mentioned there wasn't anything she could do about it. Any didn't show any type of common courtesy for my problem. Stopped here a while back, used the online to order. Signed up for their rewards and downloaded the app. Food was OK, a little over priced. I still had to wait for my order to be made and it wasn't that crowded. My account shows that I never ordered and no rewards. When I click on Contact Us, it gives three examples of possible ordering issues and how to click through the website to resolve them. So no means to ask about my missing order or rewards. I don't plan on going here a lot, so I'm not that concerned about it, but I don't like places that promise things and don't deliver on them. Others that do care about rewards and repeat business to a location, may want to check and see how it all works before picking them as a place to do so. I was in Waukegan for a visit from out of state and heard a lot of great things about this place so my fiance and I stopped in to try their food. The staff was very friendly, and one person in particular who stood out to me is Laura who first greeted us as we walked in, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and even offered suggestions since we had never been there before. She was super fast from taking our order to receiving it. She even came out to ask if everything was good and what we had expected. This is exactly what I like to see. I will definitely be coming back to this location BECAUSE of Laura who REALLY went above and beyond for us and made sure we were satisfied.
